Ahmad Suleiman Sahmoud

July 20, 2014: Ahmad Suleiman Sahmoud, 34, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles into the three-story house Tawfiq Ahmad Abu Jame’, where five families lived, in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

He was visiting the family when the Israeli shells struck their home, killing him and 25 Abu Jame’ family members.

Among the killed were 19 children, including two infant girls; one was four months, and the other was just one day old, while the rest were between the ages of 1 and 14.

The intensity of the Israeli bombardment and shelling prevented medics and rescue teams from conducting an efficient search until the next day. Ahmad was from Khan Younis. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights
