Sabrin Abu Khusa

July 30, 2014: Sabrin Mohammed Abu Khusa, 32, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles at a home belonging to her father, Mohammed ‘Atiya Abu Khousa, 47, in Zawaida village, in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip, also leading to the death of her daughter, Shahed, 9, and her son, Mohammad, 2, in addition to her mother, Sabah Mubarak Abu Khusa, 50.

Sabrin’s husband, Ibrahim Suleiman Abu Khusa, 36, who was seriously injured in the Israeli bombardment, died from his wounds nine days after the attack.

The Israeli missiles also killed Sabah’s grandchildren, Yazan Imad Abu Khousa, 4, Rital Bashir Abu Khusa, 7 months, and Jana Bilal Abu Khusa, 1. The bombarded property was a three-story house which was reduced to rubble.

At Least 103 Palestinians were killed on the same day, due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and shelling, targeting various Palestinian communities across the Gaza Strip. Sabrin was from Deir al-Balah. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights

‘Orouba Abu Amer

 July 29, 2014: ‘Orouba Suleiman Abu Amer, 41, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles at a residential building in the al-Mahatta area, in Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, also killing her husband, Waddah, 39, and their children, Omar, 12, Abdel-Ghani, 10, Imad, 9, Issa, 7, and Ez Ad-Din, 5, in addition to Waddah’s brothers, Mohammed Hasan Abu Amer, 19, and Ahmed Hasan Amer, 35.

The Israeli missiles also killed Waddah’s brothers, Mohammed, 19, and Ahmed, 35, in addition to Ahmed Suleiman Abu Amer, 40, his wife, Mona, 35, and their children Mohammed, 11, Marah, 10, Yasser, 8, Marwa, 5, and Suleiman, 3.

The residential building was about 400 square meters, owned by Karam Mohammed Al-Dali, where Abu Amer family lived in rented apartments, along with the families of al-Najjar, Breeka and Mu’ammar.

The Israeli bombardment leveled the building, and caused severe damage to nearby buildings, leading to the death of 35 Palestinians, and wounding 27 others. Mohammed Abu Amer

Ahmad Abu ‘Ayta

July 24, 2014: Ahmad Ibrahim Abu ‘Ayta, 31, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a missile at the adjacent house of Mohammed al-Ajrami, in Tal Al-Za’tar area, in Jabalia town, in northern Gaza, completely destroying the property and severely damaging his grandfather’s house.

The missiles led to his death, along with his son, Adham, who was only four years of age, his father Ibrahim, 66, his mother, Jamila, 54, and his brother Ahmad, 31.

An Israeli drone that fired two missiles at the two-story house of Al-Ajrami family, and ten minutes later, an Israeli warplane fired a missile at the property.

The missile led to Ibrahim’s death, along with his wife, Jamila, 54, their sons Mohammed, 31, and Ahmad, 31, in addition to Ahmad’s son, Adham, who was only four years of age.

Soura Sha’ban Derbas

July 21, 2014: Soura Sha’ban Derbas, 41, was killed by Israeli missiles fired missiles into the ten-story al-Salam residential building in Omar al-Mokhtar Street area, in Gaza City, destroying the building where several families sought shelter after the army issued warnings for them to leave their homes and neighborhoods, in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and to seek shelter in city centers, as the soldiers were preparing to bombard them. The Israeli army claimed it was targeting Sha’ban al-Dahdouh, 30, a member of the Islamic Jihad in Gaza. The attack led to the death of eleven Palestinians, including her parents, two sisters, brother, and five children of one of her sisters. Her sister, Taghrid, and her family held German citizenships, as Taghrid’s husband lived there for twenty years, while two of his children, who were born there, remained in Germany.
