July 20, 2014: Sabah Abu Jame’, 39, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles into the three-story house of her father Tawfiq Ahmad Abu Jame’, where five families lived, in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Among the dead Palestinians was her mother, Fatma, 64, and her daughters, Razan, 14, Jawdat, 13, Aya, 10, Haifa, 9, and Maysa, only one day old, in addition to her sons, Tawfiq, 5, and Ahmed, 10.
The intensity of the Israeli bombardment and shelling prevented medics and rescue teams from conducting an efficient search, and a day later, they found 26 corpses under the rubble, including 19 children and five women; one of the children was a one-day old infant, and one was four months, while the rest were between the ages of 2 and 14. Sabah was from Bani Suheila, in Khan Younis. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights
