July 29, 2014: Mohammed Zaki Hasan Al-Najjar, 30, was killed by Israeli missiles fired at the house of Ibrahim Hasan Al-Najjar, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli strike led to the death of eight Palestinians, including children and an infant, and injured at least six others.
Mohammed was killed along with Hamad Yousif Al-Najjar, 23, in addition to Fawziya Qasem Al-Najjar, 81, her daughter-in-law, Mona Ismail Al-Najjar, 43, Mona’s daughter Aya, 23, her son, Jehad Ibrahim Al-Najjar, 25, Jehad’s wife, Maysa Abdel-Samee’ Al-Najjar, 18, and their infant daughter, Mona, 27 days.
The attack against the Al-Najjar family home came at dawn, without a warning from the Israeli army, and damaged several nearby homes, leading to dozens of injuries.
At least 45 Palestinians were killed by Israeli missiles and shells, in different parts of the Gaza Strip, on that day alone. Mohammed was from Khan Younis. Source: Mezan Center For Human Rights
