Maysa Abdel-Samee’ Al-Najjar

July 29, 2014: Maysa Abdel-Samee’ Al-Najjar, 18, was killed by Israeli missiles fired at the home of Ibrahim Hassan Al-Najjar, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Her husband, Jehad Ibrahim Al-Najjar, 25, and their daughter, Mona, 27 days, were also killed in the bombardment.

The Israeli bombardment also led to the death of her mother-in-law, Fawziya Qasem Al-Najjar, 81, Fawziya’s daughter-in-law, Mona, 43, and Mona’s daughter Aya Ibrahim Al-Najjar, 23, in addition to two of Fawziya’s grandchildren, identified as Mohammad Zaki Al-Najjar, 30, and Hamad Yousif Al-Najjar, 23.

The attack against the Al-Najjar family home came at dawn, without a warning from the Israeli army, and damaged several nearby homes, in addition to causing at six injuries.

At least 45 Palestinians were killed by Israeli missiles and shells, in different parts of the Gaza Strip, on that day alone. Maysa was from Khan Younis. Source: Mezan Center For Human Rights
