July 20, 2014: Fatma Mahmoud Abu Jame’, 64, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles into the three-story house of Tawfiq Ahmad Abu Jame’, where five families lived, in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli missiles killed 26 Palestinians, including Fatma, her three sons, pregnant daughter-in-law and three grandchildren, ages 2, 4 and 5.
The intensity of the Israeli bombardment and shelling prevented medics and rescue teams from conducting an efficient search, and a day later, they found 26 corpses under the rubble, including 19 children and five women; one of the children was a one-day old infant, and one was four months, while the rest were between the ages of 2 and 14. Fatma was from Bani Suheila, in Khan Younis. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights
