April 26, 2022: Ahmad Ibrahim Oweidat, 20, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, southwest of Jericho city in the northeastern West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Ahmad with a live round in the head, causing life-threatening wounds.

It added that Palestinian medics rushed the young man to a governmental hospital in Jericho before he was moved to Palestine Medical Center in Ramallah, where he was immediately admitted to surgery and the Intensive Care Unit but succumbed to his serious wounds.

A second-year university student, Ahmad was shot when Israeli soldiers and undercover officers infiltrated the refugee camp, leading to protests before shooting and seriously wounded him.

The soldiers also shot three other Palestinians with live fire during the protests that took place after the army invaded the refugee camp.

Israeli soldiers and undercover units invaded Tuesday dawn, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho city in the northeastern West Bank, shot three Palestinians, including Ahmad, and abducted two.

Media sources said undercover Israeli soldiers infiltrated the refugee camp before regular army units invaded it and abducted Mohammad Abdullah Treiq and his son Hamza.

They added that the invasion led to massive protests in the refugee camp before the soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

The Fateh movement, several factions, and civil society institutions declared a general strike, excluding the health sectors, to mourn the slain young man.

Local sources said Ahmad’s parents, performing pilgrimage in Mecca in Saudi Arabia, were informed their son was killed by the soldiers and will be heading back to Palestine before his funeral procession in the evening.

Hanan Mahmoud Khdour

April 18, 2022: Hanan Mahmoud Khdour, 18, died from serious wounds she suffered when she was shot by Israeli soldiers who invaded a village near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, on April 9th.

Palestinian medical sources said the young woman, Hanan Mahmoud Khdour, 18, was shot with a live round in the abdomen after the army fired many live rounds at a car she was in when the soldiers invaded Jenin city.

She was rushed to Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin and remained in critical condition until she succumbed to her wounds nine days after being shot.

She was on her way to her school in Jenin when the soldiers opened fire on the car during an invasion of the city.

Hundreds of Palestinians participated in her funeral in Jenin before her body was sent to her village, Faqqu’a, east of Jenin, for final burial.

On the day she was injured, the Israeli soldiers shot at least ten Palestinians and killed a young man Ahmad Nasser Sa’adi, 21, in the Jenin refugee camp.

Nineteen Palestinians, including three women and three children, have been killed by the Israeli army in April:

April 15, 2022: Shawkat Kamal ‘Aabed, 17, died from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier when Israeli soldiers shot him in Kafr Dan village, northwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Shawkat succumbed to his serious wounds at dawn, Friday, at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin.

Dozens of Palestinians during the ongoing Israeli invasions into the Jenin governorate, some remain in critical conditions.

His death brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli soldiers in Jenin and Nablus, Thursday and Friday, to four after the army killed Fawwaz Ahmad Hamayel, 45, in Beita town south of Nablus, Sha’s Fuad Kamamji, 29, in Kafr Dan town, west of Jenin, and Mustafa Faisal Abu ar-Rob, 31, from Misilyah village, south of Jenin.

April 14, 2022: Mustafa Faisal Abu ar-Rob, 31, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded several parts of the Jenin governorate in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, killing two Palestinians and wounding four.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said dozens of soldiers invaded the al-Yamoun and Kafr Dan towns near Jenin, leading to protests before the soldiers shot six Palestinians with live fire and wounded many others with rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.

It added that two Palestinians, Sha’s Fuad Kamaji, 29, from Kafr Dan village, northwest of Jenin, and Mustafa Faisal Abu ar-Rob, 31, from Misilyah village, south of Jenin, succumbed to their serious wounds.

It is worth mentioning that Sha’s is the brother of Ayham Kamamji, one of six Palestinian detainees who escaped from the heavily fortified Gilboa’ Israeli prison in September 2021 before they were recaptured a week later.

Majd Kamamji, one of Sha’s brothers, said the soldiers detained him and his brothers Mohammad and Emad after the army failed to locate their brother Ahed when they tried to abduct him.

“We were detained for several hours at a nearby meadow and did not know that the soldiers killed our brother Sha’s until after we were released,” Majd said.

Also Thursday, Fawwaz Hamayel, 45, who the soldiers shot with an expanding bullet in the chest, a day earlier, died from his serious wounds.

April 14, 2022: Fawwaz Ahmad Hamayel, 45, died from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier after Israeli soldiers shot him with an expanding bullet in the chest in Beita town, south of Nablus.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed his death and said the expanding bullet caused excessive damage to his lung, kidney, liver, and diaphragm.

Fawwaz was rushed to The Specialized Arab Hospital in Nablus, where he underwent surgeries and remained in the intensive care unit until he succumbed to his serious wounds.

His aunt said Fawwaz was walking down the street when the soldiers shot him while invading the town.

His cousin said a large military force invaded the town at dawn before the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes causing severe damage.

He added that Fawwaz was among many other Palestinians who tried to reach those homes to help the families with the damage caused to their properties by the soldiers.

On Wednesday morning, April 13, the soldiers killed a Palestinian lawyer, Mohammad Hasan Assaf, 34, after firing many live rounds at his car in the Industrial Area in Nablus city.

The soldiers also injured more than twenty-five Palestinians after shooting them with live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets in several villages and towns in Nablus.

On Wednesday evening, the soldiers killed a child, Qussai Fuad Hamamra, 14, in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank. The child was killed not far from where the Israeli soldiers killed Ghada Ibrahim Ali Sabateen, 48, on April 10, 2022.

Hamayel was an accountant and the director-general of the Youth Development Department in occupied Jerusalem. Hundreds of Palestinians marched in his funeral procession in Beita.

Omar Mohammad Elyan

April 13, 2022: Omar Mohammad Elyan, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers during protests that took place in Silwad town, northeast of the central West Bank city of Ramallah after several army jeeps invaded it.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that the Israeli soldiers shot Omar with a live round in the chest.

The Health Ministry added that the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, killing Omar, seriously injuring one Palestinian, and moderately wounding another.

The army also injured five other Palestinians who were rushed to a local clinic by the medics before the soldiers surrounded it.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said a young man was injured when the soldiers rammed him with their armored military jeep.

The soldiers withdrew from the town shortly before invading it again and abducted three young men, Abdul-Fattah Hammad, Khaled Eyad Hamed, and Ahmad Abdullah Hamed.

Qussai Fuad Hamamra

April 13, 2022: Qussai Fuad Hamamra, 14 was killed by Israeli soldiers in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Many army jeeps invaded the al-Matina area near the main road of Husan, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and many surrounding homes.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers shot a child with a live round in the head and left him bleeding without first aid, especially after the army prevented the Palestinian medics from reaching him.

It added that the soldiers took the corpse of the slain child and refused to allow its transfer to the Palestinian side.

The Palestinians and the medics tried to retrieve the corpse of the slain child, but the soldiers prevented them and started pushing them away.

The child was walking home after performing evening prayers at the local mosque.

After killing Qussai, the soldiers surrounded the mosque and refused to allow the Palestinians to leave.

The army made several allegations, including claiming that the child was throwing stones at the soldiers or that he was throwing a Molotov cocktail.

However, eyewitnesses said Qussai was not participating in any protests but was walking back home from the local mosque.

Medical sources have confirmed at least eleven injuries, including some with live fire and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Dozens of Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation, especially after the soldiers fired gas bombs at mosques to force the locals to leave.

April 13, 2022: Mohammad Hasan Assaf, 34, was killed by Israeli soldiers while driving in the industrial area in Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Medical sources in Nablus have confirmed that the soldiers shot the Palestinian with a live round in the chest.

Mohammad was killed when the Israeli soldiers were withdrawing from Nablus after a massive invasion into several areas, causing many injuries, including several young men shot with live rounds.

Eyewitnesses said the army fired dozens of live rounds at cars, homes, and streets while withdrawing from the area.

Mohammad was a lawyer with the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission and was a well-known figure and social activist who represented dozens of families in Israeli courts, filed appeals against the illegal Israeli annexation of Palestinian lands, and defended the rights of the Palestinians, especially the farmers and villagers.

Mohammad was also a known figure, not just to the Palestinians for defending their rights and lands from illegal Israeli annexation and colonies, but also by the Israeli occupation soldiers for his constant participation in the ongoing nonviolent processions against the illegal Israeli Annexation Wall, and the colonies.

Mohammad, a father of three children, the oldest of them is only four years of age, was killed by the soldiers while returning home after driving his sons and nephews to school; he was returning from the Industrial Area in Nablus when the soldiers fired at his car and killed him.

His corpse was moved from Rafidia hospital in Nablus to his home in Kafr Laqif town in Qalqilia.

The Palestinian Center For Human Rights (PCHR) said, “an Israeli soldier, who was inside a military vehicle, fired four live bullets from a distance of 40 meters at the lawyer. One of the bullets penetrated his chest. The lawyer fell to the ground and bled from his mouth.”

The PCHR added that “Since the beginning of the year, the Israeli occupation forces killed 26 Palestinians, including six children and two women, in separate incidents in the West Bank; most of them were victims of excessive use of force that accompanied suppression of peaceful protests and gatherings.”

Thousands of Palestinians participated in Mohammad’s funeral ceremony, which was led by Palestinian Security Forces, and burial while chanting against the escalating Israeli crimes and violations and calling for resisting the occupation until liberation and independence.

Abdullah Tayseer Mousa Srour

April 12, 2022: Abdullah Tayseer Mousa Srour, 41, was killed by Israeli police officers after they invaded a construction site, looking for people with no entry or work permits, in Asqalan (Ashkelon) city.

Eyewitnesses said the Police invaded the construction site to look for Palestinian workers who have no permits and shot one after he reportedly refused to show him his ID card.

Abdullah worked in Amman – Jordan, selling car parts and fixing cars, and used to come to Palestine to work in construction for a few months of the year for the last four years.

The family said he had no political affiliation and was a hardworking man trying to survive and support his family.

The police claim that the worker was “behaving suspiciously,” “had a knife,” and “stabbed an officer,” causing a mild injury before he was fatally shot.

The Israeli Public Security Minister Omer Barlev “congratulated” the officer who killed Mousa and said he “prevented an attack with his own body…” Israeli National News said.

Shaher Sa’ad, the secretary of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions, denounced the escalating Israeli volition against the Palestinian workers and added that the Israeli Police has been invading construction sites and interrogating the Palestinian workers while checking for permits in addition to repeatedly assaulting and detaining them.

“Abdullah worked hard to support his family, living in Jordan because Israel refused to grant them family reunification documents; he was an electrician and was trying to support his wife and son,” Sa’ad said, “This policy of killing our people, our workers, is a serious violation of International Law; “Palestinian workers are looking for their daily bread to feed their families and support them.”
