July 17, 2014: Afnan Wisam Shuheibar, 8, was killed by a missile fired from an Israeli drone at the family’s home in the densely populated al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza city. Two of her cousins, identified as Jehad Issam Shuheibar, 10, and Wasim Issam Shuheibar, 9, were also killed in the attack, while two other children, identified as Basil Yasser Shuheibar, 8, and Udai Shuheibar, 16, were injured. Afnan and her cousins were feeding the family’s chickens and pigeons on the rooftop of their home when the Israeli drone fired a missile at the property. Afnan was from Gaza.
