July 30, 2014: Yazan Imad Mohammed Abu Khusa, 4, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles at a home belonging to his grandfather, Mohammed ‘Atiya Abu Khousa, in Zawaida village, in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli bombardment also led to the death of his uncle, Ibrahim Suleiman Abu Khusa, 36, who was seriously injured, and died from his wounds nine days after the attack.
Ibrahim’s wife, Sabrin Mohammed Abu Khusa, 32, in addition to her daughter, Shahed, 9, and her son, Mohammad, 2, were instantly killed.
Also among the killed are his cousins, Rital Bashir Mohammed Abu Khusa, 7 months, Jana Bilal Mohammed Abu Khusa, 1, and the children’s grandmother Sabah Mubarak Abu Khusa, 50,
At Least 103 Palestinians were killed on the same day, due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and shelling, targeting various Palestinian communities across the Gaza Strip. Yazan was from Deir al-Balah. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights
