Abdul-Rahman QassemMarch 7, 2022: Abdul-Rahman Jamal Qassem, 22, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers after he reportedly stabbed two soldiers near Bab al-Qattanin leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Israeli sources said two soldiers were moderately injured in the stabbing incident before the soldiers shot and killed the Palestinian.

Dozens of soldiers and police officers were deployed in the area after the incident before the army closed the entire area.

A surveillance video from the scene shows the soldiers surrounding the wounded Palestinian after the officers shot him; he was lying on the ground when an officer fired the fatal shot, although the Palestinian at the time posed no threat due to his severe wounds.

The soldiers also attacked many Palestinians in the area closed all gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque before preventing the worshippers from entering the holy site.

Abdul-Rahman is the fifth Palestinian to be killed by Israeli soldiers in the first week of March 2022.

On March 06th, the soldiers killed Yamen Nafez Jaffal, 16, after the army invaded Abu Dis town, east of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, and Karim Jamal al-Qawasmi, 19, from the at-Tour town, in Jerusalem, after shooting him near Bab Hutta gate, north of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On March 01st, 2022, the soldiers killed Ammar Shafiq Abu Afifa, 21, near Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, and Shadi Najm, 18, in Jenin, in the West Bank.

Yamen Nafez Jaffal

March 6, 2022: Yamen Nafez Jaffal, 16, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Abu Dis town, east of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the town, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Medical sources said the soldiers who Yamen with a live round prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him, and he subsequently bled to death.

The sources added that the medics were not allowed to approach the child even after he died before the soldiers took his corpse away.

The soldiers also fired many gas bombs at the Palestinian ambulance and the medics, forcing them away and causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The Israeli army claimed the slain child hurled a Molotov cocktail at Israeli military vehicles invading Abu Dis before the soldiers fatally shot him.

The army also said the soldiers fired live rounds at another Palestinian who managed to escape unharmed.

On Sunday at dawn, Israeli soldiers killed Karim Jamal al-Qawasmi, 19, from the at-Tour town, in occupied Jerusalem, after shooting him near Bab Hutta gate, north of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

March 06, 2022: Karim Jamal al-Qawasmi, 19, was killed by Israeli soldiers near Bab Hutta gate, north of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the occupied capital Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The soldiers shot the young man and left him bleeding without first aid until he succumbed to his wounds.

The soldiers fired a barrage of live fire at the young men before closing the entire area, including all gates leading to Al-Aqsa.

Israeli daily Haaretz said the Palestinian approached the officers, pulled out a knife, and stabbed one of them. Other officers at the scene opened fire at the attacker in response.

Haaretz quoted the Israeli police claiming that the Palestinian approached the officers at 4:30 at dawn, before stabbing and mildly one of them before the officers shot him.

However, the police did not explain how the second officer was hurt but only said: “two officers were injured mildly during the attack.”

Dozens of soldiers and police officers were also sent to the area and initiated extensive searches in the streets and alleys, especially around Al-Aqsa and the Old City.

The soldiers isolated the entire area and prevented the Palestinians from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque and many parts of the Old City.

A few hours after killing the Palestinian, dozens of Israeli soldiers, police, and intelligence officers invaded his home and ransacked the property, causing excessive damage, before abducting his father, mother, and brother.

Karim is also a former political prisoner, abducted when he was a teenager and was imprisoned for 18 months.

Fahmi Abdul-Rauf Hamad

January 24, 2022: Fahmi Abdul-Rauf Hamad, 57, died from the severe effects of tear gas inhalation he suffered at an UNRWA-run clinic in Qalandia refugee, camp north occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, after Israeli soldiers invaded the area and fired many gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Medical sources said the soldiers invaded the refugee camp and fired a barrage of gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians who protested the invasion, in addition to a clinic, and many surrounding homes.

They added that Fahmi suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation while inside a clinic run by UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees).

Palestinian medics tried to resuscitate the injured man and rushed him to a hospital in Ramallah, but he succumbed to his wounds.

One of his relatives said the man had preexisting medical conditions, including kidney failure and diabetes, and added that many patients in the clinic also suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

He stated that Fahmi used to frequently head to the clinic for medical treatment, including dialysis.

He also said that the soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at the Palestinians, including the area of the clinic.

In related news, the soldiers placed mobile homes in the location of the evacuated Homesh illegal colony, near Silat ath-Thaher town, south of Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank.

The soldiers also assaulted and injured a former political prisoner, identified as Islam Nidal Hamarna, from Ya’bad town, west of Jenin.

In addition, several illegal Israeli colonizers injured a Palestinian teen near the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank. The soldiers also abducted a young man at the roadblock.

It is worth mentioning that Fahmi is the sixth Palestinian to be killed this month.

On January 17th, a Palestinian man, identified as Faleh Mousa Jaradat, 39, was killed by Israeli soldiers at the Etzion Junction, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank after the army claimed he attempted a stabbing attack against the soldiers.

Also on January 17th, Sheikh Suleiman al-Hathalin, 75, died from serious wounds he suffered on January 5th, 2022, after an Israeli tow truck ran him over in the Um al-Khair area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

On January 12th, an elderly Palestinian American man, Omar Abul-Majid As’ad, 80, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded a village north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, before detaining and constantly assaulting him in an under-construction building.

On January 6th, the soldiers killed Bakeer Mohammad Hashash, 21, near Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also on January 6th, Mustafa Yassin Falna, 25, was killed after being rammed by an Israeli vehicle while heading to his work in Jerusalem.

January 6, 2022: Mustafa Yassin Falna, 25, was killed after being rammed by an Israeli vehicle while heading to his work in Jerusalem.

The incident took place approximately at six in the morning, on Road #443 near Maccabim roadblock, west of Jerusalem.

The young man, a married father of an 18-month-old baby, was crossing the road while on his way to work when he was killed, his family said.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that “This situation confirms not only the racism of the occupying state in dealing with the Palestinians but also the absolute disregard for their lives as if they have no value.”

It added, “We consider such incidents, which have become a phenomenon that is repeatedly occurring without any real investigation of follow-up by the occupation police or the army, as crimes, whether intentional and deliberate or by negligence and indifference shown by the occupying police, even if they are ordinary traffic accidents involving a Palestinian.”

On Thursday at dawn, the soldiers killed a Palestinian man, identified as, Bakeer Mohammad Hashash, 21, with live rounds near the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday, an elderly Palestinian activist, identified as Sheikh Suleiman al-Hathalin, 75, was critically injured after being run over by an Israeli military truck during nonviolent in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

The elderly Palestinian man suffered a very serious skull fracture and is in hospital in critical condition.

On December 24, 2021, a Palestinian woman, Ghadir Anis Masalma, 63, was killed by an Israeli colonialist settler who rammed her with his car and fled the scene, near the entrance of the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.

December 04, 2021: Mohammad Shawkat Salima, 25, was killed by Israeli soldiers after he stabbed an Israeli settler in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Media sources said Mohammad was shot by at least two soldiers at the al-Misrara junction in Bab al-Amoud, in Jerusalem.

The second live round that killed the Palestinian was delivered after he was struck by the first bullet and was lying on the ground.

After the fatal shooting, the soldiers also attacked many Palestinians who gathered in the area and fired gas bombs at them.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said the soldiers injured at least three Palestinians in Bab al-‘Amoud, in addition to abducting two others.

It added that one of the wounded was shot with a concussion grenade, and one was beaten by the soldiers, in addition to dozens who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The young man’s death led to protests in Jerusalem, Salfit, and other parts of the West Bank.

Israeli sources have confirmed that the injured Israeli man suffered moderate wounds.

The Israeli police issued a statement and released a surveillance video showing the Palestinian man stabbing the Israeli, in addition to attempting to stab the police before he was shot.

Fadi Abu Shkheidem

November 21, 2021: Fadi Abu Shkheidem, 42, was killed during an exchange of fire with Israeli soldiers, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Israeli police said the Palestinian, who was reportedly armed with a “Carlo” submachine gun, opened fire at Israeli police officers before they shot him dead.

An Israeli source said one officers, identified as Eliyahu David Kay, 26, was killed in the attack and added that four Israelis, including two border police officers, were injured in the incident that took place at Bab al-Silsila Gate of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem.

Israeli sources said Kay was an immigrant from South Africa, who worked at the “Western Wall Heritage Foundation,” and that he enlisted with the Israeli army in the year 2018.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at an Israeli hospital.

After the shooting, dozens of soldiers invaded the home of Fadi Abu Shkheidim, and ransacked it, causing excessive property damage, in addition to interrogating the family.

During the invasion, the soldiers forced the family into one room of their home in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, before summoning for interrogation Omar’s mother, along with his two brothers and one sister, in addition to his child Abdullah, only 8 years of age.

The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Abu Schiedam was a former political prisoner, and a married father of five, and was also considered a political leader of Hamas although he wasn’t among its ranks, or part of its military wing, known as al-Qassam Brigades.

He also held a master’s degree in Islamic studies and sharia law and worked as a teacher and a Khatib in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He was also in college preparing to obtain his PHD.

November 21, 2021: Eliyahu David Kay, 26, was killed during an exchange of fire with a Palestinian who was also shot and killed by the soldiers, in Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

An Israeli source said four Israelis, including two border police officers, were injured in the incident that took place at Bab al-Silsila Gate of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem.

Israeli sources said Kay was an immigrant from South Africa, who worked at the “Western Wall Heritage Foundation,” and that he enlisted with the Israeli army in the year 2018.

Omar Ibrahim Abu ‘Assab

November 17, 2021: Omar Ibrahim Abu ‘Assab, 16, was killed by Israeli officers and an armed guard after he allegedly stabbed two officers in the al-Wad Street, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. The soldiers later invaded his home before detaining his parents.

In a statement, the Israeli police said two Israelis were injured before the Palestinian was killed and added that two officers and one civilian guard opened fire at the Palestinian teen after he carried the alleged stabbing attack out and added that two Border Police officers were injured before the teen was killed.

After the incident, dozens of soldiers and police officers were deployed in the area and imposed a tight siege in the Old City.

The police said the wounded Israelis are a 20-year-old woman who sustained a moderate injury, and a young man, about twenty years of age, who suffered a mild injury; both were alert when they were moved to a hospital in Jerusalem.

Hours after his death, Israeli soldiers, intelligence agents, and police officers invaded the family’s home, and ransacked it, before abducting his father, mother, and brother, and released them after several hours of interrogation.

The soldiers also detained two teenage boys, in addition to firing many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at dozens of Palestinians who protested the invasion.

One of the detained teens, identified as Hashem Ali Hasan, said after his release that he was standing in Bab al-Aboud area before many soldiers and officers assaulted him, confiscated his coat, his shoes, and wallet.

Attorney Mohammad Mahmoud of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said a surveillance video which was released by the Israeli police shows that the officers could have subdued the teen without killing him, even if they had to resort to live fire.

Mahmoud called on the Israeli police in occupied Jerusalem to allow the transfer of the teen’s corpse to his family.

Isra’ Khaled Khzaimiah

September 30, 2021: Isra’ Khaled Khzaimiah, 30, was killed by Israeli soldiers near the Chain Gate, leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Israeli police claimed the woman carried a sharp object and attempted to stab officers before they delivered the fatal shots.

It also claimed that the woman exited the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound through the Chain Gate, and “pulled a knife out in an attempt to stab officers, before they fired live rounds at her.”

Eyewitnesses said the woman was still alive, but seriously injured and unable to move, and added that the police prevented anybody from reaching her to render the urgently needed first aid before she succumbed to her wounds.

The Children Of Isra’

The slain woman is married mother of four children, the youngest are four and two years of age.

The Israeli police and the army then closed the entire area and declared it a closed zone, preventing the Palestinians, including school children, from leaving or entering it.

The soldiers alo closed many roads and installed various roadblocks in several areas of East Jerusalem, especially near and around Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On the same day, the soldiers also killed Ala’ Nasser Zayyoud, 22, from Qabatia, and Mohammad Ammar, 41, from al-Boreij in central Gaza Strip.
