August 03, 2014: Mohammed Abdel Karim Abu Nijm-Al Masri, 55, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a heavy missile at his two-story house, near a local mosque in Block 8 in the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, killing ten family members, including three children and a woman, among them was his father and three sons, and wounding 22 Palestinians, including 10 children. The missile damaged ten other nearby houses. The large number of casualties was mainly because the strike took place without a prior notice, and the family was hosting many relatives who fled their home due to Israeli bombardment and shelling. Mohammed was from Jabalia. Source: Mezan Center For Human Rights
