July 20, 2014: Jehad Mahmoud Al-Helou, 58, was killed by Israeli missiles that struck homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, during the heaviest shelling and bombardment targeting the densely-populated neighborhood, also killing his wife, their three daughters and two sons, along with many relatives, including twin infants and a child, in addition to wounding dozens of Palestinians, including children. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment.
