July 30, 2014: Deema Ashraf al-Khalili, 5, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired two tank shells at the house of Mohammed Ata al-Khalili, in the al-Sanafour area, in the at-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.
Her father, Ashraf, 33, her mother, Nedaa, 27, and her brother, Ziyad, 2, were also killed in the Israeli bombardment, while her brother Mahmoud, 7, was seriously injured, and died from his wounds at an Egyptian hospital on August 04, 2014.
Her uncle, Ahmed Mahmoud al-Khalili, 28, along with his wife, Aya Mohammed al-Khalili, 23, and their daughter, Lama Ahmed al-Khalili, 4, were also killed in the same attack.
The family was waiting to be evacuated from the area due to the heavy Israeli shelling and bombardment of various neighborhoods in Gaza.
At least 110 Palestinians, including many children and women, were killed by Israeli missiles and shells that day alone, in different parts of the Gaza Strip.
