August 25th, 2014: Nidal Soheil Hamdan Badawi, 24, years old, died on August 25th of wounds sustained two days prior, on August 23rd, 2014 in al-‘Adas, in the Rafah District of southern Gaza.
He was injured by a missile fired from an Israeli military aircraft while he was walking on Saddam Hussein St. in Rafah. He was a member of the military wing of the Islamic Jihad.
His killing came in the midst of a massive Israeli military invasion of Gaza during July and August 2014, in which
