May 10, 2023: Rami Shadi Mousa Hamdan, 16, was killed in an Israeli missile strike in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza.

Rami had been known for his outstanding performance at school.

Rami was among nine Palestinians who were killed by Israeli missiles that day in the besieged coastal region.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said Israeli missiles have killed 21 Palestinians and injured 64 in two days, and added that among the victims are women and children.

The slain Palestinians are:

  1. Yazan Fathi Elian, 17, Gaza City.

7. Ahmad Mohammad Ghanmi Shabaki, 51, Qleibo area, Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

Mohammad Yousef Abu T’eima, 25, was killed when an Israeli army drone fired a missile into Palestinian agricultural lands in the Al-Fakhari area, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip; one Palestinian was seriously injured. May 10, 2023: Alam Samer Abdul-Aziz, 27, was killed by Israeli missiles east of Rafah city in southern Gaza.

The Health Ministry in Gaza said Israeli missiles have killed 21 Palestinians, and injured 64 since Tuesday dawn, and added that among the victims are women and children.

Also, the Israeli army refused to allow the entry of foreign media outlets into the Gaza Strip, for the second day.

Medical sources at the Abu Yousef Najjar Hospital in Rafah has confirmed the two Palestinians’ death by Israeli missiles and added that seven Palestinians were injured east of Rafah.

The two Palestinians were killed after the Israeli Airforce fired many missiles into several areas in the southern, eastern, and northern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The army fired two missiles into an area east of Rafah, one into an area east of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, in addition to two areas west of Beit Lahia, and one missile targeting an area east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, causing extensive damage to many homes and buildings.

Sources at the Indonesian Hospital said two Palestinian children were injured by fragments from a missile the army fired into the Al-Atatra area northwest of Beit Lahia.

Palestinian armed resistance groups in Gaza also fired many shells into Sderot, Ashkelon (Asqalan), the Western Negev, Gush Dan, Ashdod, and Tel Aviv.

Israeli sources said a house in Sderot sustained damage from a shell fired from Gaza and added that another shell struck a kindergarten that was closed due to the escalating situation in the region.

The Israeli army said it is ongoing with the offensive on the Gaza Strip, targeting Islamic Jihad members and fighters.

In a statement, the Hamas movement said the resistance in Gaza is unified in its retaliation to the Israeli offensive on Gaza”.

Also, an Israeli military drone fired a missile into Palestinian agricultural lands in the Al-Fakhari area, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing Mohammad Yousef Abu T’eima, 25, and seriously wounding another young man.

Also Wednesday, dozens of thousands of Palestinians held the funeral ceremonies and processions of the fifteen Palestinians, including women and children, who were killed a day earlier in the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

Thirteen of the slain Palestinians were killed on Tuesday dawn, and two were killed in renewed Israeli strikes in the evening of the same day.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers killed two young Palestinian men and injured one in Qabatia town, south of Jenin.

May 10, 2023: Ayman Karam Saidam, 26, was killed by Israeli missiles east of Rafah city in southern Gaza.

Media sources said the army fired a missile at an apartment in ‘Hamad City’ in Khan Younis, killing Mahmoud Hassan Ahu Ghali, 46, and his brother, Ali Hasan Au Ghali, 46, and his nephew, Mahmoud Walid Abdul-Jawad, 26.

At least seven Palestinians were injured, and several homes were damaged.

It is worth mentioning that Ali is one of the senior leaders of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, and was one first Palestinians to join the group.

The army also fired a missile at a vacant home in Bani Soheila, east of Khan Younis, and a Palestinian land nearby.

The number of Palestinian homes and apartments destroyed or partially damaged by Israeli missiles arrived at fourteen, mainly in Rafah and Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

Israeli missiles targeted ten homes and at least three cars on the offensive’s first day.

Israeli missiles have killed 24 Palestinians, including six children and three women, and injured at least 76, including 21 children and eight women since Israel launched its offensive three days earlier.

Many of the wounded Palestinians are in serious condition, especially after being buried under the rubber of their bombarded homes.

May 10, 2023: Mohammad Yousef Abu T’eima, 25, was killed when an Israeli military drone fired a missile into Palestinian agricultural lands east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Media sources said the drone fired the missile at lands east of Abasan town, east of Khan Younis, killing Mohammad, and seriously wounding another Palestinian.

The Israeli army claimed its drone targeted members of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, who reportedly intended to fire homemade shells.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said the Palestinian was a farmer and was killed while working on his land when the drone fired the missile.

WAFA added that the Israeli army also fired several artillery shells targeting two buildings, believed to be run by armed resistance groups, east of Khan Younis.

Also in Gaza, a Palestinian child was injured when the Israeli Air Force fired missiles into lands and buildings west of Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the coastal region.

The army also fired missiles into farmland near a local mosque in the Be’er An-Na’ja area, in Beit Lahia.

May 09, 2023: Eman Ala’ Ata Adas, 14, was one of 13 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip targeting several areas in the besieged coastal region.

The airstrikes led to at least thirteen deaths, including women and family members, and at least twenty injuries.

Among the dead was Dr. Jamal Khaswan, the Chairperson of the Administrative Board of Al-WAFA Hospital.

Israel claimed that Al-Bahtini directed the firing of homemade shells from Gaza over the past month.

Jihad Abdul-Hafeth Ghannam is a leader of the Military Council of the Islamic Jihad, and Ezzeddin, from Arraba town near Jenin in the northern West Bank, is a senior leader of the movement.

The Al-Quds Brigades issued a statement mourning Ghannam, the secretary of the group’s ‘Military Council’, Khalil Al-Bahtini, a member of the ‘Military Council’ in the Northern District, and Tareq Ibrahim Ezzeddin, one of the senior armed leaders of the group in the West Bank, and vowed retaliation.

According to initial reports, the strikes targeted areas in Gaza City, and Khan Younis in the southern part of the coastal region, leading to extensive property damage, nine deaths, and many injuries.

The reports also said the strikes targeted Islamic Jihad leaders and members of the group’s armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades.

The Quds News Network said the Palestinians were killed when the Israeli army fired missiles at the homes and apartments of several leaders and senior officials of the Islamic Jihad movement.

Following the assassinations, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant held an urgent meeting to discuss certain precautionary measures for Israelis living in settlements near the Gaza Strip in anticipation of retaliation from the Islamic Jihad and possibly other armed resistance groups.

The Israeli Coordinator of the Government Activities in the occupied territories declared a closure of the Erez (Beit Hanoun) and Kerem Shalom (Karem Abu Salem) crossings between the Gaza coastal region and Israel immediately after the army started bombing Gaza.

The Israeli Home Front Command also advised the Israeli living near the Gaza Strip to stay near shelters and banned all forms of gatherings in open places for more than ten people, in addition to banning gatherings in closed buildings for more than 100, the Israeli Jerusalem Post said.

The Israeli army said the strikes on Gaza came almost a week after dozens of shells were reportedly fired from the Gaza Strip, following the death of Islamic Jihad member Khader Adnan, 45, who died on May 2, at an Israeli prison after 87 days of hunger strike demanding his freedom as he was held under Administrative Detention orders without charges or trial.

On May 3, a Palestinian man, Hashel Mubarak Salman Mubarak, 58, was killed by Israeli missiles in the Shati refugee camp northwest of Gaza City.
