May 11, 2023: Aws Jamal Hamamda Kamil, 30, died after having been shot by the Israeli occupation forces during their raid the previous day on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
The director of Al-Razi Hospital, Fawaz Hammad, told the Palestinian Wafa news agency that Aws was admitted to the hospital after the Israeli invasion of Jenin in a very critical condition, as he was hit by live bullets in the abdomen and chest.
Despite the best efforts of the medical teams at the Al-Razi Hospital, they were unable to save his life.
The death of Aws came after large forces of the Israeli occupation army stormed the town of Qabatiya, and targeted a vehicle in the town, resulting in the deaths of two young men: Ahmad Jamal Tawfiq Assaf Kamil (19 years old) from Qabatiya, and Rani Walid Ahmad Qatanat (24 years old) from a nearby refugee camp.
Aws’ death brings the death toll to 25 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since Monday, many of them women and children killed in Israeli airstrikes on civilian buildings in the Gaza Strip.
