July 20, 2014: Asma’ Jehad Al-Helou, 24, was killed by Israeli missiles that struck homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City; her father, mother, two sisters and two brothers, along with several relatives, including twin infants and a child, were also killed, and many Palestinians were wounded. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment.
