January 29, 2017: Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Khalifa, 19, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank and attacked local Palestinian youth. The soldiers shot Mohammad with a live round in his back and wounded three other Palestinians during the invasion. Mohammad was from Jenin refugee camp. Source: IMEMC

Hussein Abu Ghosh

January 25, 2017: Hussein Salem Abu Ghosh, 24, was killed by Israeli soldiers who claimed he tried to ram them and Israeli settlers with his car at a bus station close to Adam Israeli settlement, east of Ramallah in the West Bank. The soldiers fired several live rounds at the car killing the young man, before closing the area and preventing Palestinian medics from approaching him. His cousin Hussein Mohammad Abu Ghosh, 17, was killed a year ago on January 26, 2016, after he and Ibrahim Osama Allan, 23, stabbed a settler, identified as Shlomit Krigman, 24, who later died from her wounds at the Hadassah Israeli medical center in Jerusalem. Yacoub Abu al-Qee’an

January 18, 2017: Yacoub Mousa Abu al-Qee’an, 47, was killed by Israeli soldiers after alleging that he rammed them with his car, killing one officer, when the police and soldiers invaded Umm al-Hiran village, in the Negev, and started demolishing homes and structures. Locals said the man, a local mathematics teacher, lost control of his car after the police fired live rounds at him, and injured him in his knee, causing his vehicle to accelerate into a squadron of Israeli police officers, before his car rolled down a hill, hitting two officers who were walking up the hill, and coming to a halt after crashing into another car, leading to the death of an Israeli officer, identified as Erez Levy, 37. Arab Member of Knesset Ayman Odeh of Hadash Party, and the head of the Knesset’s Joint List, was among many injured by police fire. Yacoub was from Umm al-Hiran. Source: IMEMC

Erez Levy

January 18, 2017: Erez Levy, 37, was killed by a Palestinian driver who reportedly deliberately struck him during clashes that erupted after the Israeli army and police began demolishing homes and structures in Umm al-Hiran village in the Negev. Eyewitnesses said the Palestinian driver, Yacoub Abu al-Qee’an, 47, a local mathematics teacher, lost control of his car after the police fired at it, eventually rolling down a hill, hitting two officers who were walking up the hill, and coming to a halt after crashing into another car, killing Levy and wounding another officer. Ayman Odeh, Arab Member of Knesset of Hadash Party and the head of the Knesset’s Joint List, was among many injured by Israeli police fire. Source: IMEMC

Nidal Mahdawi


January 17, 2017
: Nidal Daoud Mahdawi, 44, was killed by Israeli soldiers at a military roadblock near Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank, after the soldiers claimed he attempted to stab them. A video of the incident shows the Nidal standing near an electricity pole, and when a soldier fired a round near him he started walking towards the soldiers who fired several other rounds, and then he started running towards them before they fired the fatal shots. Nidal was from Tulkarem. Source: IMEMC

Qussai al-Amour

January 16, 2017: Qussai Hasan al-‘Amour, 17, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Teqoua’ town, southeast of Bethlehem in the West Bank, and clashed with local youths before shooting the teen with six live rounds, including three in the chest. One of them hit his heart directly.

Video taken by Hisham Abu Shaqra, a Palestinian journalist who works for the Turkish Anadolu News Agency, shows the soldiers dragging Qussai’s body in a rough manner back to their military jeeps. Palestinian medics were prevented from approaching him. Israeli soldiers also shot and wounded four Palestinians, including a woman, while many others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation. : Mohammad Salhi, 33, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded his home and shot him with several live rounds, including in the head. He was killed in front of his family after he rushed to his mother’s aid when he heard the soldiers shouting at her and beating her. Mohammad was from al-Far’a refugee camp, north of Tubas in the West Bank. Source: PCHR

January 8, 2017: Erez Orbach, 20, was killed by a Palestinian driver who rammed him, and other soldiers with his car in Jerusalem. Four soldiers were killed in the incident, and several others were wounded. Erez, who was also an American citizen, was from Alon Shvut settlement, southwest of Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC

: Shir Hajaj, 22, was killed by a Palestinian driver who rammed her, and other soldiers with his car in Jerusalem. Four soldiers were killed in the incident, and several others were wounded. Shir was from Ma’ale Adumim settlement, in the West Bank. Source: IMEMC
