Nahed Abu Rjela

August 04, 2014: Nahed Helmi Abu Rjela, 38, died from serious wounds she suffered on July 23rd, 2014, after the Israeli army fired three missiles at her father’s homes, in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Her father, Helmi Mohammad Abu Rjela, 67, was also killed and his body was found under the rubble on August 3rd, while the corpse of her brother, Abbas, 19, was found on August 11th, due to the extensive and ongoing Israeli bombardment, and ground invasion, which led to the destruction of dozens of homes.

Nahed and her mother, Siham, 57, were rescued by the neighbors, who were unable to transfer them out of the town until the next day, due to the Israeli ground invasion, but Nahed died from her serious wounds.

The extensive Israeli bombardment and shelling into various parts of the Gaza Strip, led to the death of at least 62 Palestinians that day, July 23rd. Nahed was referred to an Egyptian hospital, where she died from her serious wounds. Nahed was from Khuza’a. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights

Mahmoud Ashraf al-Khalili

August 04, 2014: Mahmoud Ashraf al-Khalili, 7, died from serious wounds he suffered on July 30, 2014, when Israeli soldiers fired two tank shells at the house of Mohammed Ata al-Khalili, in the al-Sanafour area, in the at-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.

His father, Ashraf, 33, his mother, Nedaa, 27, and his brother, Ziyad, 2, were killed instantly by the Israeli shells.

His uncle, Ahmad Mahmoud al-Khalili, 28, along with his wife, Aya Mohammed al-Khalili, 23, and their daughter, Lama Ahmed al-Khalili, 4, were also killed in the same attack.

The family was waiting to be evacuated from the area due to the heavy Israeli shelling and bombardment of various neighborhoods in Gaza.

At least 110 Palestinians, including many children and women, were killed by Israeli missiles and shells that day alone, in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

August 03, 2014: Mohammed Abu Nijm-Al Masri, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a heavy missile at the two-story house of his father, also named Mohammed, 55, near a local mosque in Block 8 in the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, killing ten family members, including three children and a woman, and wounding 22 Palestinians, including 10 children. The missile damaged ten other nearby houses. The large number of casualties was mainly because the strike took place without a prior notice, and the family was hosting many relatives who fled their home due to Israeli bombardment and shelling. Soha Abu Nijm-Al Masri

August 03, 2014: Soha Hamed Abu Nijm-Al Masri, 29, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a heavy missile at the two-story house of, Mohammed Abu Nijm-Al Masri, 55, near a local mosque in Block 8 in the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, killing ten family members, including her daughter Raghad, 3, and two other children and a woman, and wounding 22 Palestinians, including 10 children. The missile damaged ten other nearby houses. The large number of casualties was mainly because the strike took place without a prior notice, and the family of Abdul-Karim al-Masri was hosting many relatives who fled their home due to Israeli bombardment and shelling. Ahmad Abu Nijm-Al Masri

Malak Wa’el Al-Ghoul

August 03, 2014: Malak Wa’el Ismail Al-Ghoul, 6, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a missile from a warplane at his family’s home in Bashit area, in Rafah refugee camp, in the southern Gaza Strip district of Rafah.

The Israeli missile killed Malak, along with her father Wa’el, 42, her brothers, Ismail, 14, and Mustafa, 1 month.

Malak’s grandfather, Ismail Mohammad al-Ghoul, 63, her grandmother, Khadra, 43, along with her aunts, Hanadi, 28, and Asma, 22, and her uncle, Mohammed, 33, were also killed in the bombing.

Mustafa Wa’el Al-Ghoul

August 03, 2014: Mustafa Wa’el Ismail Al-Ghoul, 1 month, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a missile from a warplane at his family’s home in Bashit area, in Rafah refugee camp, in the southern Gaza Strip district of Rafah.

The Israeli missile killed Mustafa, along with his father Wa’el, 42, his brother, Ismail, 14, and his sister, Malak, 6.

Mustafa’s grandfather, Ismail Mohammad al-Ghoul, 63, his grandmother, Khadra, 43, along with his aunts, Hanadi, 28, and Asma, 22, and his uncle, Mohammed, 33, were also killed in the bombing.
