Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu

August 19, 2014: Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu, 48, was killed by six Israeli missiles fired at the three-story house of her husband, Rabah al-Dalu, 51, in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, where eight members of al-Dalu family lived, along with two families who were renting apartments in the same building that was turned into rubble, and many nearby homes and buildings were damaged.

Wafa’ was killed along with Wedad Mustafa Daif-Asfour, 27, Wedad’s infant son, Ali, 7 months, her daughter, Sara, 36 months, and her two teenage sons, Ahmed, 19, and Mustafa, 13.

Fifteen Palestinians were injured in the attack, while a nearby bus company was also targeted with missiles, leading to the destruction of 36 vehicles. Wafa’ was from Gaza. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights

Sara Mohammed Daif

August 19, 2014: Sara Mohammed Daif, 36 months, was killed by six Israeli missiles fired at the three-story house of Rabah al-Dalu, 51, in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, where eight members of al-Dalu family lived, along with two families, were renting apartments in the same building that was turned into rubble, and many nearby homes and buildings were damaged.

Sara, was killed along with her mother, Wedad, 27, who was the wife of Mohammad Daif, the leader of Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in addition to her brother, Ali, 7 months, Rabah’s wife, Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu, 48, and their two sons, Ahmed, 19, and Mustafa, 13.

Ali Mohammed Daif

August 19, 2014: Ali Mohammed Daif, 7 months, was killed by six Israeli missiles fired at the three-story house of Rabah al-Dalu, 51, in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, where eight members of al-Dalu family lived, along with two families who were renting apartments in the same building that was turned into rubble, and many nearby homes and buildings were damaged.

Ali, whose body was located under the rubble two days after the bombing, was killed along with his mother, Wedad, 27, the wife of Mohammad Daif, the leader of Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in addition to his sister, Sara, 36 months, Rabah’s wife, Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu, 48, and their two sons, Ahmed, 19, and Mustafa, 13.

Wedad Mustafa Daif-Asfour

August 19, 2014: Wedad Mustafa Daif-Asfour, 27, was killed by six Israeli missiles fired at the three-story house of Rabah al-Dalu, 51, in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, where eight members of al-Dalu family lived, along with two families who were renting apartments in the same building that was turned into rubble, while and many nearby homes and buildings were damaged.

Wedad, who was the wife of Mohammad Daif, the leader of Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, was killed along with her infant son, Ali, 7 months, daughter, Sara, 36 months, in addition to Rabah’s wife, Wafa’ Hussein al-Dalu, 48, and their two sons, Ahmed, 19, and Mustafa, 13.

Ibrahim Abu Khusa

August 08, 2014: Ibrahim Suleiman Abu Khusa, 36, died from serious wounds he suffered, on July 30th 2014, after the Israeli army bombarded the family home in Zawaida village, in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza Strip.

His wife, Sabrin, 32, their daughter, Shahed, 9, and son, Mohammad, 2, in addition to his mother-in-law, Sabah Mubarak Abu Khusa, 50, were also killed, while his father-in-law, was seriously injured, and died from his wounds nine days after the attack.

The Israeli missiles also killed Sabah’s grandchildren, Yazan Imad Abu Khousa, 4, Rital Bashir Abu Khusa, 7 months, and Jana Bilal Abu Khusa, 1. The bombarded property was a three-story house which was reduced to rubble.

At Least 103 Palestinians were killed on the same day due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and shelling, targeting various Palestinian communities across the Gaza Strip. Ibrahim was from Deir al-Balah. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights

Mahmoud Abu Haddaf

August 08, 2014: Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Haddaf, 9, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles from a drone at his family’s home, and nearby homes, in al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Mahmoud was killed along with his cousins, Suleiman Samir Abu Haddaf, 21, and Suleiman Samir Abu Haddaf, 21, while least six other Palestinians were injured, one seriously.

His cousin, Mohammad Saleh Abu Haddaf, 4, suffered very serious injuries, and died from his wounds on December 6, 2017.

Mahmoud Khaled Abu Haddaf

August 08, 2014: Mahmoud Khaled Abu Haddaf, 15, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles from a drone at his family’s home, and nearby homes, in al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

The child was killed along with Suleiman Samir Abu Haddaf, 21, and Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Haddaf, 9. Six other Palestinians were injured, one seriously.

His cousin, Mohammad Saleh Abu Haddaf, 4, who suffered very serious injuries, died from his wounds on December 6, 2017.

Nahed Abu Rjela

August 04, 2014: Nahed Helmi Abu Rjela, 38, died from serious wounds she suffered on July 23rd, 2014, after the Israeli army fired three missiles at her father’s homes, in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Her father, Helmi Mohammad Abu Rjela, 67, was also killed and his body was found under the rubble on August 3rd, while the corpse of her brother, Abbas, 19, was found on August 11th, due to the extensive and ongoing Israeli bombardment, and ground invasion, which led to the destruction of dozens of homes.

Nahed and her mother, Siham, 57, were rescued by the neighbors, who were unable to transfer them out of the town until the next day, due to the Israeli ground invasion, but Nahed died from her serious wounds.

The extensive Israeli bombardment and shelling into various parts of the Gaza Strip, led to the death of at least 62 Palestinians that day, July 23rd. Nahed was referred to an Egyptian hospital, where she died from her serious wounds. Nahed was from Khuza’a. Source: Mezan Center for Human Rights

Mahmoud Ashraf al-Khalili

August 04, 2014: Mahmoud Ashraf al-Khalili, 7, died from serious wounds he suffered on July 30, 2014, when Israeli soldiers fired two tank shells at the house of Mohammed Ata al-Khalili, in the al-Sanafour area, in the at-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza city.

His father, Ashraf, 33, his mother, Nedaa, 27, and his brother, Ziyad, 2, were killed instantly by the Israeli shells.

His uncle, Ahmad Mahmoud al-Khalili, 28, along with his wife, Aya Mohammed al-Khalili, 23, and their daughter, Lama Ahmed al-Khalili, 4, were also killed in the same attack.

The family was waiting to be evacuated from the area due to the heavy Israeli shelling and bombardment of various neighborhoods in Gaza.

At least 110 Palestinians, including many children and women, were killed by Israeli missiles and shells that day alone, in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

Mohammed Abu Nijm-Al Masri

August 03, 2014: Mohammed Abu Nijm-Al Masri, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired a heavy missile at the two-story house of his father, also named Mohammed, 55, near a local mosque in Block 8 in the densely populated Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza, killing ten family members, including three children and a woman, and wounding 22 Palestinians, including 10 children. The missile damaged ten other nearby houses. The large number of casualties was mainly because the strike took place without a prior notice, and the family was hosting many relatives who fled their home due to Israeli bombardment and shelling.
