August 10, 2018: Abdullah al-Qutati, 20, a medic, was shot and killed by Israeli forces at a ‘Great Return March’ protest east of Rafah.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, said the soldiers killed Abdullah, along with Ali Sa’id al-‘Aloul, 55, after shooting both of them with live fire, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

al-Qedra stated that the soldiers injured 307 Palestinians on the same day, including 85 who were shot with live fire, during the Great March Procession on Palestinian lands near the barrier fence, in the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Jawad Awwad, the Palestinian Health Minister, issued a statement denouncing the ongoing Israeli excessive use of force against Palestinian nonviolent protesters, and condemning the fatal shooting of a Palestinian medic.176 of the wounded Palestinians received treatment at the make-shift clinics, while 131 were rushed to hospitals in the coastal region; five of them suffered life-threatening wounds.

Dr. Awwad said the killing of medic volunteer Abdullah al-Qutati, 20, east of Rafah, and the targeting of medics, journalists and unarmed civilians, are serious violations of International Law and all related resolutions and treaties.

He added that the soldiers have killed three medics, including a young woman, Razan Najjar, 22, since the Great Return March processions started on Palestinian Land Day, March 30th.

He called on the International Community, all legal and human rights groups, to intervene and stop the seriously-escalating Israeli violations against unarmed civilians in Palestine.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers have killed 170 Palestinians, including 25 children and three women, since the Great Return March protests began on March 30th, 2018.

The army also continued to target ambulances and medical teams, including attacks with live fire and gas bombs at make-shift clinics.

Besides killing al-Qutati on Friday, the soldiers also killed Ali Sa’id al-‘Aloul, 55, and injured 307 Palestinians, including 85 who were shot with live fire.

Bayan Abu Khammash

August 9, 2018: Bayan Abu Khammash, 18 months old, was killed along with her nine-months-pregnant mother when the Israeli airforce dropped a bomb on their home.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli army missiles killed a pregnant Palestinian mother, and her infant daughter, 18 months of age, in central Gaza. The mother was nine months pregnant.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, has confirmed that the soldiers killed a pregnant woman, identified as Enas Mohammad Abu Khammash, 23, and her child Bayan Abu Khammash, 18 months, in their home in al-Ja’farawi area, Deir al-Balah, in Gaza’s Central District.

He added that the bombardment also caused moderate wounds to Enas’s husband, Mohammad Khammash.

Furthermore, the soldiers injured at least twelve Palestinians in ongoing Israeli bombardment of several parts of the Gaza Strip, and earlier killed one Palestinian, identified as Ali al-Ghandour, 30.

In addition, the Israeli Air Force fired three missiles at a concrete factory, and three other missiles into a nearby area, northwest of Gaza city.

Media sources in Gaza said Israeli missiles also struck sites, run by armed resistance groups, in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while more missiles were fired from drones into sites in the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, and Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Also on Wednesday, the army fired several missiles into various areas of the Gaza Strip, including a building in the Sudaniyya area of northern Gaza, which was first struck by three missiles, followed by an additional six missiles, just minutes later.

The Israeli army said it targeted several Hamas centers in Gaza, reportedly when six Israelis were injured in the Sderot settlement, in the Negev, “after eight shells were fired from Gaza”.

Israeli Ynet News said that one Israeli man, aged 23, was injured by shrapnel in his leg, and added that “two pregnant women in addition to a man, 42 years of age, were treated for shock,” before being moved to Barzilai Hospital.

It alleged that Hamas fighters fired live rounds at “civil engineering equipment”, used as part of a “anti-tunnel barrier’” which is being built along the barrier with Gaza, causing damage, before the army fire a tank shell at a Hamas post.

Hamas said its fighters fired shells into nearby army posts, in retaliation to Israeli bombardment of the coastal region, and added that it has no Interest in escalation.

Hamas leaders said that they are holding talks with Egypt, to restore calm to the region, and to avoid a potentially serious military escalation.

For its part, the Israeli army said it raised the alert level along the border with Gaza, after noticing that Hamas fighters were evacuated from their posts along the border, a move that Hamas said was meant to ensure their safety, and avoid further escalation, while the army considered it as part of preparation for potential escalation.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army killed two Hamas fighters, identified as Ahmad Abdullah Morjan, 23, and Abdul-Hafeth Mohammad Seelawi, 23, in northern Gaza.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, issued a statement denouncing the Israeli assassination of two of its fighters, in northern Gaza, and holding Israel accountable for any future escalation.

It stated that the two fighters were part of a military training in “Asqalan” center, one of its training locations in northern Gaza, and that many Palestinians, including political leaders of Hamas, were in attendance.

August 8, 2018: Ali al-Ghandour, 30, was killed in a car which was struck by a missile fired by an Israeli army drone.

The Health Ministry in Gaza confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed Ali al-Ghandour, 30, in northern Gaza, and wounded at least two others, one seriously.

The slain Palestinian, and the wounded, were moved to the Indonesian Hospital, in northern Gaza.

The Health Ministry added that Israeli missiles also mildly injured three Palestinians in Gaza city, before they were rushed to the Shifa Medical Center.

Furthermore, the army fired shells into Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, mildly wounding one Palestinian, who was moved to Al-Aqsa Hospital.

The Israeli missiles also targeted areas in Rafah city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, while at least seven missiles struck the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza city, in addition to another sites, west of Gaza city, while an army drone fired a missile into a resistance center in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Media sources in Gaza said the targeted areas in Gaza included a concrete factory, which was hit with three missiles.

The Israeli army claimed that it struck twelve targets in Gaza, including one tunnel, after four shells were reportedly fired from the coastal region by Palestinian resistance fighters, causing injuries and damage inside Israel.

The Israeli army added that the Iron Dome missile interception system managed to down eleven additional shells.

Israeli Ynet News quoted a source at Barzilai Hospital stating that eight Israelis were lightly wounded, in addition to one man, who suffered moderate wounds and was rushed to surgery.

It added that seventeen Israelis “were injured, most of whom were treated for shock”, and said that “three pregnant women started having labor contractions due to the stress.”

|Israeli Army Bombards Many Areas In Gaza|

For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine said the Palestinian resistance fired shells in “retaliation for the ongoing and escalating Israeli crimes, including the killing of two Qassam fighters of Hamas during training.”

“The retaliation by the Palestinian resistance is legitimate; the enemy must understand that it cannot keep killing and attacking our people, and covering its crimes with lies and fabrications.”

Both the Islamic Jihad and the al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, said that the Palestinian armed resistance will retaliate in response to the Israeli escalation, and affirmed that “Israeli bombardment will be met by Palestinian shelling, escalation will be met by retaliation.”

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, issued a statement denouncing the Israeli assassination of two of its fighters, in northern Gaza, and holding Israel accountable for any future escalation.

Al-Qassam identified the two fighters as Ahmad Abdullah Morjan, 23, and Abdul-Hafeth Mohammad Seelawi, 23.

The Brigades stated that the two fighters were part of a military training in “Asqalan” center, one of its training locations in northern Gaza, and that many Palestinians, including political leaders of Hamas, were in attendance.

Al-Qassam said that the training including the use of sniper fire, and explosives, and the fighters were practicing techniques when the Israeli army fired a shell at them, killing the two fighters.

“Israel is coming up with false allegations to justify its serious crime,” Al-Qassam said, “We hold the occupation fully responsible for this attack.”

The Israeli army said the two Palestinians “opened fire at Israeli soldiers,” and published a video of the two fighters reportedly firing at soldiers, while Hamas said the allegation has no basis, as the fighters were training, and firing at fixed targets.

August 3, 2018: Ahmad Yahia Atallah Yaghi, 25, was shot and killed by an Israeli army sharpshooter while participating in a non-violent protest rally on Palestinian lands east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza city.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israel soldiers engaged in the excessive use of force against the nonviolent “Great Return March” in Gaza, on its nineteenth consecutive week, killing a young man, and wounding 220 Palestinians, including 90 who were shot with live fire.

It is worth mentioning that, in a previous protest, the soldiers shot Yaghi with live fire, wounding him in his leg.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra of the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that the soldiers injured 220 Palestinians, including 90 who were shot with live fire, in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the soldiers, stationed in their fortified sniper posts hundreds of meters away from the perimeter fence, also shot six other Palestinians with live fire, in the same area, and caused many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

The soldiers also shot four Palestinians with live fire, east of Khuza’a town, east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis. All four were rushed to the European Hospital, while many others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Another Palestinian suffered a moderate injury after the soldiers shot him with live fire in his leg, and caused many to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Furthermore, one Palestinian was shot with a live round in his pelvis, east of Rafah, in southern Gaza, before he was moved to Abu Yousef Najjar hospital, suffering a moderate injury.

The army attacked the Palestinian protesters in several parts of the coastal region, especially east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza, in addition to Rafah, Khan Younis, Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun areas, in the southern and northern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of protesters launched balloons carrying the colors of the Palestinian flag, in addition to flying burning kites, causing fire in lands in Israeli settlements hundreds of meters away from the fence.

On Friday evening, the soldiers fired a shell at a site east of Rafah, causing fire and property damage.

July 28, 2018: Mohannad Majed Jamal Hammouda, 24, was killed along with another Palestinian by an Israeli missile fired from aircraft, east of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed, on Sunday at dawn, two young Palestinian men, in northern Gaza.

The two slain Palestinians were identified as ِِAyman Nafeth Rabea’ Najjar, 24, and Mohannad Majed Jamal Hammouda, 24, from Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Media sources in Gaza said the two Palestinians were killed near the Eastern Graveyard, in Jabalia, and added that their severely mutilated corpses were moved to the Indonesian Hospital, in northern Gaza.

Israeli Ynet News said the two were reportedly near the perimeter fence, when “Israeli jets struck targets” in the area.

The Israeli media source added that the army only issued a brief statement in which it just said, “it does not address foreign reports.”

It is worth mentioning that Israeli army drones were heard and seen flying at a low altitude over several parts of the coastal region, especially in northern Gaza, throughout the entire day and night.

On Saturday morning, the Health Ministry said a teenage boy, identified as Mo’men Fathi al-Hams, 17, died from serious wounds he suffered by Israeli army fire on Friday.

On the same day the teenage boy was critically injured, the soldiers killed two Palestinians, including one child, and wounded 246 others, among them eleven who suffered serious wounds, 10 women, 4 medics, one journalist and 19 children.

Mo’men Fathi al-Hams

Momen HamsJuly 28, 2018: Mo’men Fathi al-Hams, 17, died on Saturday morning, from serious wounds he suffered when he was shot by Israeli army fire the day before.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Mo’men suffered very serious wounds a day earlier, during the Great Return March processions in the coastal region.

The teen, from Rafah, in the southern part of the coastal region, was shot with a live Israeli army round in the upper chest, east of Rafah, and remained in critical condition until he succumbed to his wounds.

On the same day of his critical injury, the soldiers killed two Palestinians, including one child, and wounded 246 others, among them eleven who suffered serious wounds, 10 women, 4 medics, one journalist and 19 children.

The Health Ministry said an Israeli army sharpshooter shot Majdi Ramzi Kamal Satri, 12, with a live round in the head, east of Rafah city, and added that the second Palestinian, Ghazi Mohammad Abu Mustafa, 45, was also shot with a live round in the head, east of Khan Younis, also in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Their deaths brought the number of Palestinians, killed by Israeli army fire since March 30th, 2018, the Palestinian Land Day, to 155, including 19 children, two medics and two journalists.

The Israeli soldiers also injured 355 medics, and caused damage to 58 ambulances, during the same time-frame.

The Health Ministry demanded that the international community hold Israel accountable for its serious violations against medical teams, and the civilian population, and to take action to provide Palestinian medics and civilians with urgently-needed protection.
