April 11, 2023: Saud Abdullah Saud (al-Titi), 38, was killed by Israeli soldiers who also killed another Palestinian in the same attack, near Deir al-Hatab village, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Maan News Agency quoted the army stating that the soldiers ambushed and killed Saud and Mohammad Ghazi Abu Thera’, 35, and injured one near the Elon Moreh colony after they reportedly opened fire at it.
The army claimed the soldiers found two M16 rifles and a pistol that the two Palestinians carried.
Ahmed Jibril, the Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance in Nablus, stated the army prevented medical crews from approaching the two critically injured young men who died from their wounds.
Jibril added that its crews transported one Palestinian young to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus after soldiers shot him with a live round in the shoulder.
Saud was an officer with the Palestinian National Security while Mohammad was a member of the Al-Aqsa Brigades the armed wing of the Fateh Movement, from Nablus.
He is a former political prisoner who was imprisoned by Israel for 16 years, and Mohammad was imprisoned for seven years.
The Israeli army took the bodies of the two men after preventing Palestinian medics from approaching them.
On Monday, Israeli forces shot and killed Mohammad Fayez Balhan, 15, with live rounds to the head, abdomen, and pelvis.
It is important to note that 98 Palestinians, including 18 children have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of the year.
