July 20, 2017: Mohammad Hussein Tnouh, 26, was killed by Israeli soldiers in Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, in the West Bank, after the soldiers claimed that he attempted to stab them.

The soldiers shot Mohammad with four live rounds, before an army jeep ran over him, near al-Khansa’ school, in Teqoua’.

An Israeli army spokesperson said the soldiers “responded to an immediate threat, and killed the man.”

After shooting the Palestinian, the soldiers closed the area, prevented bystanders, and medics, from approaching him, and later covered his body with a black sheet, before taking it away.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said the soldiers prevented its medics from approaching the Palestinian to assess his condition, and the extent of his injuries, before he was declared dead.

Clashes took place in Teqoua’ following the fatal shooting, and the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Ra’fat Harbawi

July 18, 2017: Ra’fat Nathmi Harbawi, 29, was killed by Israeli soldiers at Beit ‘Anoun junction, east of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, after the army claimed that he rammed soldiers with his car, mildly wounding two.

Palestinian eyewitnesses said the soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds at Ra’fat’s car, before dozens of soldiers rushed to the scene, and closed the area.

Palestinian Red Crescent medics tried to reach the Palestinian, but the soldiers prevented them from approaching his vehicle.

The Israeli army later invaded Ra’fat’s home, and summoned his brother, Mohammad, for further interrogation.

The soldiers also attacked many Palestinians, including reporters, who gathered near the Palestinian’s home, and deleted videos and pictures on cameras and smartphones, documenting the invasion, in addition to interrogating reporters and family members for more than 90 minutes. July 16, 2017: Amer Ahmad Tirawi, 34, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah in the West Bank, and exchanged fire with him.

The Israeli army said the Palestinian was suspected of carrying out a shooting attack, a day earlier, near Um Safa Palestinian village and Ateret Israeli settlement, and of another shooting targeting a military post in the area.

According to the army, the first incident took place when Amer reportedly opened fire on a car of an Israeli settler near Ateret settlement, and the second targeted a fortified military base, near Nabi Saleh.

The invasion into Nabi Saleh was carried out by Police SWAT teams, Israeli soldiers and Shin Bet security officers, who were attempting to detain him, after identifying him and his location.

The army claims that the Palestinians was killed when he “attempted to open fire on the soldiers with his homemade weapon,” and that another Palestinian, who was with him, was taken prisoner. Amer was from Kafr Ein village, northwest of Ramallah. Source: IMEMC

Kamil Shnan

July 14, 2017: Kamil Shnan, 22, was killed by Palestinian gunmen during armed clashes that took place near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in East Jerusalem.

Shnan, an Arab-Israeli who served as Staff Sergeant Major with the Israeli police, was killed along with another Arab-Israeli officer, identified as Staff Sergeant Major Hail Stawi, 30.

Another police officer was injured during the gun clashes with the three Palestinians, who were shot dead in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinians who were killed in clashes were also Palestinian-Israeli citizens identified as Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Jabarin, 29, Mohammad Hamed Abdul-Latif Jabarin, 19, and Mohammad Ahmad Mifdil Jabarin, 19, from Umm al-Fahem Arab majority town.

Eyewitnesses said the three Palestinians were riding a motorcycle, before exchanging fire with the officers, and then ran towards the Dome of the Rock in Al-Aqsa compound where they exchanged fire with the officers, who were chasing them, before they were killed.

Following the fatal incidents, the soldiers completely sealed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and canceled Friday prayers, before preventing all Muslim worshipers from entering or leaving the mosque’s courtyards.

The Israeli police also detained and interrogated the Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, in addition to 58 employees of the Waqf and Islamic Endowment Department, in Jerusalem.

The Mufti was later released after being ordered to pay a 10.000 Israeli Shekels bail, after several hours of detention and interrogation.

The police interrogated the employees for several hours, and released 53 of them, but remanded for further interrogation three employees, identified as Ayman al-Khalidi, Majed Tamimi and Tariq Sandouqa.

July 14, 2017: Mohammad Ahmad Mifdil Jabarin, 19, was killed by Israeli soldiers after he and two other Palestinians, exchanged fire with them, in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Mohammad was killed along with Mohammad Hamed Abdul-Latif Jabarin, 19, and Mohammad Ahmad Mifdil Jabarin, 19, when they opened fire at Israeli police officers near the Lions Gate, then fled into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, where they exchanged fire with the officers, wounding three, including two who later died from their serious wounds.

Eyewitnesses said the three Palestinians were riding a motorcycle before exchanging fire with the officers, and then continued towards the Dome of the Rock in Al-Aqsa compound where they exchanged fire with the officers, for the second time, until they were killed.

Two Israeli officers identified as Advanced Staff Sgt. Maj. Hael Sathawi,30, from Maghar tow, and Advanced Staff Sgt. Maj. Kamil Shnan, 22, from Hurfeish, suffered serious injuries, and died from their wounds later, while one officer suffered a mild-to-moderate injury, while exchanging fire with the three Palestinians. The slain officers were Arab citizens of Israel.

July 14, 2017: Bara’ Ismael Hamamda, 18, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank, and searched homes, leading to clashes between the army and dozens of local youngsters.

Medical sources in Bethlehem said the soldiers shot Bara’ with a live round in the chest, inflicting a very serious injury, and that the wounded young man succumbed to his wounds while the doctors were trying to save his life in a local hospital.

At least two other Palestinians were shot by army fire, while the soldiers also invaded and searched many homes, interrogated many Palestiniansو and arrested three. Bara’ was from Deheishe refugee camp in Bethlehem. Source: IMEMC

Aws Salama

July 12, 2017: Aws Mohammad Salama, 17, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, and fired dozens of live rounds and gas bombs, during clashes that took place following the invasion.

The soldiers also shot Sa’ad Hasan Salah, 21, from Jenin refugee camp, with three live rounds, including one in the head, before he succumbed to his wounds on the operating table in a hospital in Jenin.

The Israeli army claimed that many Palestinian protesters hurled homemade explosives and Molotov cocktail on the military vehicles.

A third Palestinian, identified as Odai Nizar Abu Na’sa, 19, was seriously injured, after the soldiers shot him with an expanding bullet in his leg. Aws was from Jenin refugee camp.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) issued a statement strongly condemning the excessive use of force by the Israeli military, and affirming that the two Palestinians were not part of any clashes which broke out between the Palestinian civilians and Israeli soldiers. Source: IMEMC

Sa’ed Salah

July 12, 2017: Sa’ed Nasser Salah, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin, and fired dozens of live rounds and gas bombs, during clashes that took place following the invasion.

Sa’ad was shot with three live rounds, including one in the head, and succumbed to his wounds on the operating table in a hospital in Jenin.

He has three brothers; one of them, Yousef, is imprisoned by Israel, and one is a former political prisoner, while their father became paralyzed several years ago, after the soldiers shot him in his spine.

During the invasion, the soldiers also killed Aws Mohammed Yousif Salamah, 17, from Jenin refugee camp, after shooting them with live fire.

The Israeli army claimed that many Palestinian protesters hurled homemade explosives and Molotov cocktail on the military vehicles.
