December 10, 2021: Jamil Abu Ayyash, 31, was killed by Israeli soldiers during the weekly protest against the illegal Israeli colonies in Beita town, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

The head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Ahmad Jibril, told the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) that the army opened live fire at non-violent protesters on Sbeih Mountain, killing Jamil Abu Ayyash, and causing at least sixty-eight cases of inhalation injuries from tear gas.

He added that the slain young man was shot with a live round in the head with a live round, and was transferred by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead due to his critical wounds shortly after arrival.

Palestinian youths have been protesting for months in rejection of Israel’s expansion of its illegal colonies, especially when Israeli colonizers occupied the top of the mountain and installed the illegal “Avitar” colonialist outpost.

Earlier in the day, soldiers accompanied bulldozers that razed a power network and roads leading to the protest site, in addition to uprooting olive trees on Palestinian-owned lands.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affair and Ex-Patriates issued a statement denouncing the killing of Abu Ayyash and called The Human Rights Council’s International Commission of Inquiry to Investigate Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, to investigate his death and all Israeli crimes and violations.

It said that the Israeli army’s use of live ammunition against unarmed protesters is a war crime, and a crime against humanity, and is yet another proof that Israel does not seek peace and is ongoing with its hostile policies against the Palestinian people and any treaty or resolution that would result in real and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy resolutions.

It also called on the International Criminal Court to open an immediate inquiry into the escalating Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, their property, and their holy sites.

The Ministry urged the International Community to provide the urgently needed protection to the Palestinian people and to end its idleness by prosecuting those who commit these crimes against unarmed civilians and their property.

It is worth mentioning that the funeral ceremony of the slain young man was held in his town, with the participation of hundreds of Palestinians, including social figures.

Jamil is the ninth Palestinian to be killed in Beita since the protests against the annexation of Sbeih Mountain started after the colonizers occupied it in May of this year, 2021.

Mohammad Nidal Younis

December 6, 2021: Mohammad Nidal Younis, 15, was killed by Israeli soldiers at a military roadblock near Tulkarem, in the northern part of the West Bank, after the army claimed he intentionally rammed his car into the roadblock.

Israeli sources said a security guard was seriously injured before he was rushed to Tal HaShomer medical center and added that his wounds were mainly to the chest and head.

In a statement, the Israeli army claimed that the Palestinian sped towards the roadblock and rammed his car into the guard post, causing serious wounds to a security guard, 34 years of age.

It added that another guard opened fire at the Palestinian car, seriously wounding the driver before he was moved to a hospital where he died from his wounds.

After the incident, the soldiers invaded Nablus city, before storming and ransacking the family home of the slain child, in addition to detaining and interrogating the family in their home. The invasion into the home and the violent search caused excessive property damage.

The child’s uncle said that his nephew went missing after midnight, before his family started looking for him and asking his friends if they knew his whereabouts but could not find him until their received news about the incident at the roadblock.

“We saw pictures posted on social media, and we saw the car in one of the photos crashed into the roadblock,” the uncle said.

The child’s father later received a phone call on his mobile phone from an Israeli intelligence officer telling him that he and the soldiers are in his home and that he needs to come back immediately.

The father of the slain teen, a former political prisoner who was held by Israeli for twelve years. was ordered to head to Huwwara military base for interrogation, but due to his grief, he could not go.

The Israeli army refused to allow the transfer of the slain child’s corpse to his family.

Mohammad Shawkat Salima

December 04, 2021: Mohammad Shawkat Salima, 25, was killed by Israeli soldiers after he stabbed an Israeli settler in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

Media sources said Mohammad was shot by at least two soldiers at the al-Misrara junction in Bab al-Amoud, in Jerusalem.

The second live round that killed the Palestinian was delivered after he was struck by the first bullet and was lying on the ground.

After the fatal shooting, the soldiers also attacked many Palestinians who gathered in the area and fired gas bombs at them.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said the soldiers injured at least three Palestinians in Bab al-‘Amoud, in addition to abducting two others.

It added that one of the wounded was shot with a concussion grenade, and one was beaten by the soldiers, in addition to dozens who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The young man’s death led to protests in Jerusalem, Salfit, and other parts of the West Bank.

Israeli sources have confirmed that the injured Israeli man suffered moderate wounds.

The Israeli police issued a statement and released a surveillance video showing the Palestinian man stabbing the Israeli, in addition to attempting to stab the police before he was shot.

Dia’ Kamal Dahdouh

December 2, 2021: Dia’ Kamal Dahdouh, 26, died from serious wounds he suffered, a year earlier, in an explosion near his home in Gaza city.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Dia’ was one of its members, and added that he suffered serious wounds, a year ago, in an “accidental explosion” in Tal Al-Hawa.

Many Palestinian fighters have been killed in accidental explosions, or during training, in addition to the hundreds who were assassinated or killed by Israeli soldiers during the frequent invasions and bombings in the Gaza Strip.

Some have also been killed or seriously injured while dismantling explosives dropped by Israeli soldiers, in addition to unexploded ordnances that were fired by the Israeli army, or while manufacturing homemade shells.

It is worth mentioning that, on June 10, 2021, a Palestinian child, identified as Obeida Dahdouh, only nine years of age, was killed when an undetonated Israeli explosive that was dropped during the recent Israeli offensive on Gaza, exploded near him.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the Israeli explosive went off near the child, causing serious wounds before the medics rushed him to the Shifa Medical Center where he succumbed to his wounds. His brother was also injured in the explosion.

During the eleven days of the Israeli offensive on Gaza in May of this year, the death toll reached 247, including sixty-six children and thirty-nine women, while 1416 Palestinians, including 277 women and 412 children have been wounded, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) has confirmed.

Fadi Abu Shkheidem

November 21, 2021: Fadi Abu Shkheidem, 42, was killed during an exchange of fire with Israeli soldiers, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The Israeli police said the Palestinian, who was reportedly armed with a “Carlo” submachine gun, opened fire at Israeli police officers before they shot him dead.

An Israeli source said one officers, identified as Eliyahu David Kay, 26, was killed in the attack and added that four Israelis, including two border police officers, were injured in the incident that took place at Bab al-Silsila Gate of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem.

Israeli sources said Kay was an immigrant from South Africa, who worked at the “Western Wall Heritage Foundation,” and that he enlisted with the Israeli army in the year 2018.

He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at an Israeli hospital.

After the shooting, dozens of soldiers invaded the home of Fadi Abu Shkheidim, and ransacked it, causing excessive property damage, in addition to interrogating the family.

During the invasion, the soldiers forced the family into one room of their home in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, before summoning for interrogation Omar’s mother, along with his two brothers and one sister, in addition to his child Abdullah, only 8 years of age.

The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Abu Schiedam was a former political prisoner, and a married father of five, and was also considered a political leader of Hamas although he wasn’t among its ranks, or part of its military wing, known as al-Qassam Brigades.

He also held a master’s degree in Islamic studies and sharia law and worked as a teacher and a Khatib in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He was also in college preparing to obtain his PHD.

Sami al-‘Amour

November 18, 2021: Sami al-‘Amour, 39, died at an Israeli medical center after years of medical neglect despite having congenital heart disease, and his need for constant follow-up.

In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has confirmed the detainee’s death and stated that Sami was taken prisoner by the Israeli army in the year 2008 and was sentenced to nineteen years in prison.

Sami was transferred to an Israeli hospital on Wednesday at night, where he was officially pronounced dead by the physicians.

His fiancé, who remained engaged to him for fourteen years since his abduction, said that the family received the news about his death from media outlets.

It is worth mentioning that only his mother was able to visit with him just a few times since his abduction due to Israeli restrictions.

His sister said that the last time the family was able to talk to him over the phone was before he was sent to the Israeli hospital when he informed them that he was being transferred cuffed and sitting in a wheelchair.

The PPS said the detainee was born with congenital heart disease and has been receiving specialized treatment for his condition until he was abducted and imprisoned by Israel.

The PPS held Israel accountable for his death especially since he should have been monitored and examined by heart specialists.

It also said that al-Amour was transferred, a few days ago, from Nafha prison to Asqalan, and was just recently moved to Soroka Israeli medical center where he underwent two surgeries, including one that was performed just a day before his death.

Omar Ibrahim Abu ‘Assab

November 17, 2021: Omar Ibrahim Abu ‘Assab, 16, was killed by Israeli officers and an armed guard after he allegedly stabbed two officers in the al-Wad Street, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem. The soldiers later invaded his home before detaining his parents.

In a statement, the Israeli police said two Israelis were injured before the Palestinian was killed and added that two officers and one civilian guard opened fire at the Palestinian teen after he carried the alleged stabbing attack out and added that two Border Police officers were injured before the teen was killed.

After the incident, dozens of soldiers and police officers were deployed in the area and imposed a tight siege in the Old City.

The police said the wounded Israelis are a 20-year-old woman who sustained a moderate injury, and a young man, about twenty years of age, who suffered a mild injury; both were alert when they were moved to a hospital in Jerusalem.

Hours after his death, Israeli soldiers, intelligence agents, and police officers invaded the family’s home, and ransacked it, before abducting his father, mother, and brother, and released them after several hours of interrogation.

The soldiers also detained two teenage boys, in addition to firing many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at dozens of Palestinians who protested the invasion.

One of the detained teens, identified as Hashem Ali Hasan, said after his release that he was standing in Bab al-Aboud area before many soldiers and officers assaulted him, confiscated his coat, his shoes, and wallet.

Attorney Mohammad Mahmoud of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said a surveillance video which was released by the Israeli police shows that the officers could have subdued the teen without killing him, even if they had to resort to live fire.

Mahmoud called on the Israeli police in occupied Jerusalem to allow the transfer of the teen’s corpse to his family.

Saddam Hussein Bani Odeh

November 16, 2021: Saddam Hussein Bani Odeh, 26, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Tubas city, the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that the young Palestinian man during protests that took place after the army invaded Tubas.

The Ministry verified that an Israeli soldier shot Saddam with a live round that penetrated his shoulder, heart, and left lung.

It added that Palestinian medics rushed the man to a Tubas governmental hospital, where he was soon officially pronounced dead. The slain Palestinian was also a former political prisoner

The Palestinian was killed during protests that took place at the main entrance of Tubas and surrounding areas, when several army jeeps invaded the city, before the soldiers fired live rounds, tear gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets.

The Israeli army said armed resistance fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers during the invasion and claimed that the slain Palestinian was one of the fighters.

In addition, the soldiers the home of a former prisoner, identified as Ayser Maslamani, and ransacked the property before abducting him.

The soldiers also invaded and searched the home of Hamza Daraghma, before abducting him.

The invasions were carried out by regular army units, and undercover Israeli soldiers, who invaded many homes in and around Tubas, in addition to Jenin and Nablus, in northern West Bank.

MohammadNovember 5, 2021: Mohammad Da’das, 13, was shot and killed by an Israeli soldier in Deir al-Hatab village, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the child was shot in the abdomenwith live ammunition during confrontations between Palestinian villagers and Israeli soldiers.

The child, from the New Askar refugee camp was immediately rushed to Rafidia Hospital in critical condition, where he was found to be in cardiac arrest.

Medical staff attempted to resuscitate him, with no success, and doctors pronounced the child’s death shortly afterward.

Amjad Osama Abu Sultan

October 15, 2021: Amjad Osama Jalal Abu Sultan, 15, was killed by Israeli soldiers near Beit Jala city, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said the soldiers fired many live rounds at two Palestinian children in the Be’er Owna area in Beit Jala city, killing one.

They added that the soldiers shot and killed Amjad, and injured abducted another child, identified as Mohammad Khalil ‘ Al-Arouj, 14, before taking him to an interrogation facility.

In a short statement, the Israeli army claimed the soldiers opened fire at the Palestinians when they “tried to hurl Molotov cocktails at the Tunnels Road,” connecting the Gush Etzion colony with occupied Jerusalem.

The death of the child has led to protests in the area, especially on the main roads between Jerusalem and the Gush Etzion colony, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

In related news, Israeli sources said a Border Police officer was seriously injured after being struck by a Palestinian car near Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.

They added that the officer sustained several injuries to the head and abdomen and was rushed to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

The Israeli army claimed that the incident was a “deliberate attack,” and added that the driver, Salah Nazzal, 22, from Qalqilia, was also injured in the head before he was taken to Hadassah hospital, where he was also interrogated by the Israeli Shin Bet security service.

On Thursday evening, the soldiers injured many Palestinians in Douma village, south of Nablus, and abducted two at the nearby Za’tara permanent military roadblock, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

On Thursday at dawn, the soldiers abducted at least fifteen Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem.
