Enas Shawkat Dar Khalil, 5, was killed by an Israeli settler who rammed her with his car near the town of Sinjel, in the West Bank district of Ramallah, and fled the scene. Her friend, Tulin Asfour, 5, was holding her hand and suffered a serious injury. Enas was from Sinjel near Ramallah. Source: IMEMC

October 16, 2014: Baha’ Sameer Bader, 13, was killed by Israeli army fire in Beit Liqya town, near Ramallah in the West bank, after the soldiers invaded the town and fired at a number of homes. The child suffered a serious injury and died from his from shortly after. Baha’ was from Beit Liqya. Source: IMEMC

Yousef Shalalfa


September 11, 2014
: Yousef Mohammad Shalalfa, 10, was killed by Israeli missiles in al-Mawasi, in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. He was seriously injured in the bombardment on August 3, 2014, and died from his wounds on September 11. His father Mohammad, 42 and his mother, Khitam, 39, were killed instantly. Source: MAP-UK

Rahaf Abu Jame’

rahaf-abu-jameSeptember 10, 2014: Rahaf Suleiman Abu Jame’, 4, was killed by a shrapnel from Israeli missile when her home was targeted by airstrike, in Bani Sohaila, in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

It is worth mentioning that 26 members of her family, including 19 children and five women, were killed, when she was injured on July 20th.

They have been identified as:

Ziad Tareq ar-Reefy

boy-nophotoSeptember 01, 2014: Ziad Tareq ar-Reefy, 9, was killed by an Israeli missile that struck his family home in Gaza city; he was seriously injured in the strike on August 21, 2014, and died from his wounds on September 1, 2014.

The child was injured when the Israeli army fired a missile at the family’s farmland, in the Tuffah neighborhood, in Gaza city.

The Israeli missile instantly killed the child’s father Nasr Ziad ar-Reefy, 35, in addition to his brother Abdullah Tareq ar-Reefy, 7, his cousin Omar Nasr ar-Reefy, 4, Omar’s father, Mohammad Ziad Abed-Rabbo ar-Reefy, 28.

The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights reported at the time that, on Thursday morning August 21st, 2014, an Israeli war jet fired a missile toward farmland owned by ar-Reefy family, near the an-Nafaq Street, north of Gaza city, killing five members of the family, including three children, and wounding four, including two children, identified as Maram ar-Reefi, and Ziad Tareq ar-Reefy, 9, who later died from his wounds.

It said the soldiers killed Ahmad Tareq ar-Reefy, Mohammad Tareq ar-Reefy, 13, Abdullah Tareq ar-Reefy, 6, and Mohammad Ziad Abed-Rabbo ar-Reefy, 28, and injured dozens, many of them seriously.

A few hours later, the army fired a missile into Sheikh Radwan Graveyard, north of Gaza city, killing four graveyard workers and caretakers, identified as Abdul-Rahim Talal Shweikh, 22, Rami Hamdi Salem, 20, Mohammad Hamdi Salem, 18, and Awsam Talal Shweikh, 45, in addition to seriously wounding Salem Abu Ghaddayeen, 28.

The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights said the soldiers killed at least 2218 Palestinians during the 51-day Israeli offensive on the coastal region, while dozens later died from their serious wounds. Around 84% of the slain Palestinians were civilians, including hundreds of children.

Al-Mezan stated that the Israeli bombardment and shelling of Palestinian homes, residential buildings and structures, resulted in wiping out entire families, while dozens of families lost multiple members. According to UN OCHA, 142 families lost 3 members or more in the Israeli attacks.

Hassan Hazem ‘Abd al-Hamid ‘Ashur

August 25, 2014: Hassan Hazem ‘Abd al-Hamid ‘Ashur, 16, was injured on 22 Aug 2014 in Beit Furik, Nablus District, by live ammunition, and died on 25 Aug 2014.

He was shot in the abdomen by Israeli forces in a demonstration to protest the military’s actions in Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.

He died of his wounds on 25 August 2014.

Ahmed Raddad Tanboura

August 25, 2014: Ahmed Raddad Tanboura, 15, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired two missiles at his family’s house, in Beit Lahia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. His father, Raddad, 36, and sister, Amna, 13, were also killed, while his mother, Elizabeth, 39, his brother, Saher, 19, and sister, Marwa, 9, were injured along with six other neighbors, including two children and a woman.
