Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour

June 9, 2022: Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour, 27, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded the village of Halhoul and began firing live rounds at Palestinians protesting the invasion. In addition to killing Mahmoud, the soldiers injured five other Palestinians with live ammunition.

Local sources said a large military force invaded Halhoul and obstructed traffic before storming a money exchange shop, confiscating a large sum of cash, and welding it shut.

The invasion led to protests, where the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs, killing a young man and wounding five.

Dr. Sharif at-Tardi, the spokesperson of the al-Mezan Specialty Hospital in Hebron, said the soldiers shot Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour, 27, from Halhoul town north of Hebron, with live rounds.

He added that the bullets perforated the diaphragm and severed the thoracic aortic artery, his heart, and lung.

Dr. at-Tardi stated that the young man was rushed to the hospital in a profoundly serious condition and succumbed to his serious wounds during surgery.

The soldiers also shot two Palestinians with live rounds and one with rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to two others who were shot with high-velocity gas bombs in their heads.

The slain young man’s uncle said Mahmoud wasn’t participating in the protests and did not pose any threat to the soldiers but was working at a construction site in the area when the soldiers started firing live rounds at random.

Odah Mohammad Sadaqa

June 02, 2022: Odah Mohammad Sadaqa, 17, was killed by Israeli soldiers in the al-Midya village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Odah with an expanding bullet in the chest before the Palestinian medics rushed the critically injured child to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah where he succumbed to his wounds.

His uncle Mofeed Sadaqa said his nephew tended to the family flock in an area not far from the Annexation Wall, adding that Odah was also playing with other children near the Wall when a soldier shot him in the back.

Media sources in the village said the situation was calm, as there were no protests in the entire area when the soldiers shot the child.

Israeli sources only said, “a Palestinian teen was killed by the army near Ramallah” and did not provide any details about the fatal shooting.

The Palestinians in the village confirmed that the fatal shooting of the child had no reason, especially since there were no protests in the area, adding that the soldier who shot him was in one of the heavily fortified monitoring rooms of the illegal Annexation Wall.

On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man, Ayman Mahmoud Mheisin, 29, after the army invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man, Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, after shooting him with live rounds in the chest and thigh, and injured at least six, including three who suffered serious wounds, during protests that took place after many army jeeps invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Earlier Wednesday, the army killed a Palestinian journalist, Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, after shooting her at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

In the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Health Ministry said a Palestinian man, who was seriously injured during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip in May of 2021, died from his serious wounds at a hospital in Egypt.

The Health Ministry in Gaza identified the Palestinian as Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, from Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Ayman Mahmoud Mheisin

June 02, 2022: Ayman Mahmoud Mheisin, 29, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers when the Israeli army invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Dozens of soldiers invaded the refugee camp from several directions before storming and ransacking many homes, leading to protests.

The soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs at the protesters and surrounding homes.

Medical sources have confirmed that an Israeli army sharpshooter occupying a rooftop of a Palestinian home killed a young man after shooting him with a live round in the heart. The soldiers also shot another young man with a live round in the leg.

The Palestinian Health Ministry officially identified the slain young man as former political prisoner Ayman Mahmoud Mheisin, 29.

The Palestinian was not participating in the protests and his killed while walking near his home when the soldiers shot him.

“He wasn’t participating in protests. I was talking to him on the phone just before the soldiers shot him, and he told me the soldiers were near the house and that he was staying home,” his brother said, “Ayman was shot in front of his home the moment he stepped out when he thought the army left the refugee camp. The soldiers were hiding in the alleys before one of them shot him.”

Palestine TV said Aman’s father suffered a mild heart attack after hearing the news about his son’s killing and was rushed to a hospital in Bethlehem.

His brother said Ayman had a heart condition and could not run or even walk for any distance without needing to sit down to catch his breath.

The soldiers abducted two Palestinians, Issa Shadi Ma’ali, 20, and former political prisoner Abdullah Nayef Ramadan, 30, from their homes in the refugee camp.

The soldiers invaded the Ma’ali family home to abduct Jad but could not find him and decided to abduct his brother, Issa, to pressure Jad into turning himself in to the army.

The invasion was initially conducted by undercover forces driving a car with Palestinian license plates before many army jeeps invaded the refugee camp.

Yasser Atiya al-Masri

June 01, 2022: Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, died of wounds he sustained when he was hit by shrapnel from an Israeli missile during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip in May of 2021.

In an official statement, the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said Yasser was one of its members.

The Brigades stated that Yasser was seriously injured when the army fired missiles at him and other fighters in Deir al-Balah during the Israeli offensive on the coastal region.

The Israeli offensive on Gaza (May 10 – May 21, 2021) led to the death of 240 Palestinians, including sixty-five children, thirty-nine women, and seventeen elders. The Israeli missiles and shells also caused 1900 injuries, including 560 children, 380 women, and ninety-one elders.

The Israeli bombardment displaced more than 75.000 Palestinians after the Israeli army and the air force targeted hundreds of homes, residential towers, commercial buildings, medical centers, and infrastructure.

The Israeli missiles destroyed three mosques and caused damage to forty mosques and one church, destroyed 1447 residential units, and caused partial damage to 13.000 and fifteen public buildings.

Also, the Israeli missiles and shells destroyed 205 homes and apartment buildings, thirty-three media facilities, seventy-five government-run buildings, including police stations and service centers, and 490 agricultural structures.

Also Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man, Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, after shooting him with live rounds in the chest and thigh, and injured at least six, including three who suffered serious wounds, during protests that took place after many army jeeps invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Ghofran Haroun Warasna

June 01, 2022: Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, was shot in the chest and killed by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Dr. Yousef Takrouri, the director of the Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, said Ghofran was left to bleed to death by the Israeli soldiers and died before the medics could take her to the hospital, adding that the doctors tried to revive her, but she succumbed to her serious wounds.

Dr. Yousef added that the soldiers shot Ghofran with a live round in the left side of her chest, under the armpit, adding that the bullet went through her heart and exited from the right side of her chest.

He also said the soldiers did not allow anybody to reach her and left her bleeding on the ground for twenty minutes before eventually allowing the Palestinian medics to reach her.

The slain young woman studied media and journalism at Hebron University and was active in documenting the Israeli military violations.

In addition, she was a journalist reporting to three Radio stations in Hebron.

A few days before the soldiers killed her, Ghofran started a new job at Dream Radio in Hebron and was on her way to work.

Her cousin, Yousef Warasna, said that he was heading to work in his car with his son, and was informed she was shot and killed.

An eyewitness said the woman was walking in the area heading to her work and did not attempt to attack the soldiers when they shot her near their military tower.

Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh condemned the Israeli crime and demanded the International Community act on prosecuting Israel for its ongoing and escalating violations against the civilians.

“This organized terrorism is encouraged by the absence of sanctions and punitive measures against the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine,” he said, “The lack of punishment means another crime will be committed…”.

“The International Criminal Court sent forty investigators to Ukraine in less than two months,” Dr. Shtayyeh stated, “Yet, nothing has been done to prosecute Israel for its crimes that have been ongoing for decades.”

The Israeli army claimed the soldiers shot the woman when she allegedly attempted to stab them, adding that the soldiers “neutralized the woman.” No soldiers were hurt in the purported attack.

In incidents of alleged stabbings or attempted stabbings, the Israeli army does not allow the Palestinian medics to approach the wounded and instead calls for an Israeli ambulance, leaving the wounded bleeding to “secure the scene” and ensure they have the person in custody regardless of their condition.

However, the soldiers allowed the Palestinian medics to transfer her to a Palestinian hospital in Hebron city instead of taking her to an Israeli hospital, an issue that casts serious doubts on the military allegations.

Bilal Awad Kabaha

June 01, 2022: Bilal Awad Kabaha, 24, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers with live rounds in the chest and thigh.

The soldiers killed Bilal and injured at least six, including three who suffered serious wounds, during protests that took place after many army jeeps invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said at least thirty military vehicles, including armored bulldozers, invaded the town before the soldiers stormed homes and occupied their rooftops to use them as firing posts and started to demolish a home.

The sources added that dozens of Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the soldiers who fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that the young man was rushed to Jenin governmental hospital in critical condition but died from his wounds.

The Health Ministry stated that the army shot six Palestinians with live rounds, including three who suffered life-threatening wounds after being shot in the neck, face, and abdomen.

One of the wounded is a medic who was shot while trying to provide the essential aid to the seriously wounded young man.

During the invasion, the army fired many gas bombs at homes and buildings, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The invasion was conducted to demolish the home of Dia’ Hamarsha, 27, who was killed by an Israeli police officer, on March 30, 2022, after allegedly shooting to death five Israelis in a suburb of Tel Aviv.

Earlier Wednesday, the soldiers killed a Palestinian woman, Ghofran Haroun Warasna, 31, at the entrance of the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also Wednesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said a young man, Yasser Atiya al-Masri, 41, from Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, died from serious wounds he suffered during the Israeli offensive on Gaza on May of last year, 2021. The Palestinian was receiving treatment in Egypt when he succumbed to his serious wounds.

Gheith Rafiq Yameen

May 24, 2022: Gheith Rafiq Yameen, 16, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in Nablus during a pre-dawn invasion. At least seventy-five Palestinians were injured during protests that took place after dozens of soldiers invaded Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Health Ministry said the child, Gheith Rafiq Yameen, 16, was rushed to Rafidia hospital in Nablus, suffering a serious headshot wound.

Gheith was instantly rushed to surgery but succumbed to his serious wounds, the Ministry added.

Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), said the soldiers shot fifteen Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets.

Jibril added that the army caused forty-one Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, one who suffered burns due to concussion grenades and another young man who fell while the soldiers chased him.

The soldiers also targeted a PRCS ambulance with gas bombs when the medics rushed a pregnant woman in labor to a Rafidia hospital in Nablus.

The protests and injuries occurred when the army accompanied many buses of illegal Israeli colonizers into Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus.

Media sources in Nablus said several Palestinian fighters exchanged fire with the invading soldiers.

ِAlso, illegal Israeli colonizers fired many live rounds and hurled stones at Palestinian cars in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.

Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Samaritans revere Joseph the patriarch; however, the Israeli military allows Jews to visit as part of organized pilgrimages, despite the site being in Area A, where the Palestinian Authority supposedly has full control. The Israeli military that governs Palestinians in the West Bank under martial law prohibits Muslims from worshiping at the site.

Ultra-orthodox and nationalist Jews constantly try to visit the shrine without approval, as many Jews believe the tomb to be the final resting place of the biblical figure in the Old Testament.

Palestinians believe that Joseph’s Tomb is the funerary monument to Sheikh Yousif Dweikat, a local religious figure.

Amjad Waleed al-Fayed

May 22, 2022: Amjad Waleed al-Fayed, 17, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded the Jenin refugee camp, the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

Medical sources in Jenin said the Israeli soldiers shot the slain teen with nearly eleven live rounds in the upper body.

The sources added that the army also shot and seriously injured another Palestinian, eighteen years of age, before being rushed to a hospital in Jenin.

The Israeli army claimed that the soldiers shot Amjad during exchanges of fire that took place after the army invaded the refugee camp.

It is worth mentioning that the slain Palestinian teen is the nephew of Amjad and Mohammad al-Fayed, who were killed in the Israeli offensive in the Jenin refugee camp in April of the year 2002.

After his death, hundreds of Palestinians held processions in Jenin refugee camp, Jenin city, and surrounding villages and towns before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Also, hundreds of Palestinians headed to Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin and carried the corpse of the slain teen before marching in various streets in the city and the Jenin refugee camp while chanting for ongoing resistance against the occupation and national unity.
