Youssef Othman

September 26, 2017: Youssef Othman, 20, was killed by a Palestinian man who opened fire at soldiers and security officers in Har Hadar Israeli settlement, northwest of Jerusalem.

The Palestinian man, identified as Nimir Mahmoud Jamal, 37, from Beit Surik village, northwest of Jerusalem, was killed by Israeli fire, after he killed Solomon Gabrieh, 20, a First Sgt. with the border police, along with security officer, Or Arish, 25. Youssef was also a security officer.

The Israeli army stated that its initial investigation revealed that the Palestinian arrived at the rear entrance of the settlement, along with a group of Palestinian workers, before he carried out the attack.

It added that the Border Guards ordered the Palestinian to stop after suspecting him, but he pulled out a concealed gun and opened fire, killing the three officers and wounding the security coordinator of Har Hadar settlement, who suffered a serious injury, and a 32-year-old man who was seriously injured, but the doctors at Hadassah Israeli Medical Center in Jerusalem said his wounds were not live threatening.

Yosef Salomon

July 21, 2017: Yosef Salomon, 70, was killed by a Palestinian who infiltrated into his home in Halamish Israeli settlement, north of Ramallah in the West Bank, and stabbed him, along with his daughter, Chaya Solomon, 46, and his son, Elad Salomon, 36.

Yousef’s wife, and the mother of Chaya and Elad, was still receiving treatment at Shaare Zedek Israeli Medical Center in Jerusalem, until the time of this report.

The Palestinian, identified as Omar al-‘Abed, from Kobar village, near Ramallah, was shot by a neighbor, before he was hospitalized, and was later handed to the Israeli military for interrogation.

The family was celebrating the birth of a grandson when the attack took place in their home, located on the edge on the settlement.

Although the Israeli military and security services believe the Palestinian identifies with Hamas, they do not believe he was an active member with the movement and acted alone, in an attack that was motivated by the rising tension in Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem. Elad Salomon

Chaya Salomon

July 21, 2017: Chaya Salomon, 46, was killed by a Palestinian who infiltrated into her home in Halamish Israeli settlement, north of Ramallah in the West Bank, and stabbed her, along with her father, Yosef Solomon, 70, and her brother, Elad Salomon, 36.

Her mother was still receiving treatment at Shaare Zedek Israeli Medical Center in Jerusalem until the time of this report.

Hail Stawi

July 14, 2017: Hail Stawi, 30, was killed by Palestinian gunmen during armed clashes that took place near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.

Hayil, an Arab-Israeli who served as Staff Sergeant Major with the Israeli police, was killed along with another Arab-Israeli officer, identified as Staff Sergeant Major Kamil Shnan, while another police officer was injured, while exchanging fire with the three Palestinians, who were shot dead in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinians who were killed in the gun clashes were also Palestinian-Israeli citizens from Umm al-Fahem Arab majority town, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Jabarin, 29, Mohammad Hamed Abdul-Latif Jabarin, 19, and Mohammad Ahmad Mifdil Jabarin, 19.

Eyewitnesses said the three Palestinians were riding a motorcycle, before exchanging fire with the officers, and then ran towards the Dome of the Rock in Al-Aqsa compound where they exchanged fire with the officers, who were chasing them, before they were killed.

Following the fatal incidents, the soldiers completely sealed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and canceled Friday prayers, before preventing all Muslim worshipers from entering or leaving the mosque’s courtyards.

The Israeli police also detained and interrogated the Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, in addition to 58 employees of the Waqf and Islamic Endowment Department, in Jerusalem.

The Mufti was later released after being ordered to pay a 10.000 Israeli Shekels bail, after several hours of detention and interrogation.

The police interrogated the employees for several hours, and released 53 of them, while three employees, identified as Ayman al-Khalidi, Majed Tamimi and Tariq Sandouqa, were remanded for further interrogation. Hayil was from al-Maghar town in Israel’s northern district. Source: IMEMC

Nawf Enfei’at

June 2, 2017: Nawf Eqab Enfei’at, 16, died from serious wounds she suffered a day earlier after Israeli soldiers shot her. They claimed she attacked and stabbed one of them at a military roadblock near Mavo Dotan settlement, southwest of Jenin city, in the northern part of the West Bank.

The child was transferred by the army to the Israeli Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, where she was receiving treatment, until she succumbed to her wounds.

Her father said the family was shocked to hear about her death, especially since her lawyer told them that the Israeli military prosecutor’s office has scheduled a court hearing for her, for Sunday, June 4th.

He added that the Israeli army did not contact the family, even to inform them about a date to transfer her corpse back to them.

The family was not allowed to visit with her after her injury, and only knew she suffered serious wounds. Nawf was from Ya’bad, west of Jenin. Source: IMEMC

Elichai Taharlev

April 6, 2017: Elichai Taharlev, 20, was killed by a Palestinian driver who crashed into a group of soldiers at the junction of Ofra Israeli settlement, east of Ramallah in the West Bank. One other soldier, 19, was mildly injured in the incident.

The Israeli army claimed that the driver, Malek Ahmad Hamed, 23, from Silwad town east of Ramallah, deliberately rammed the two soldiers with his car.

Malek was immediately detained at the scene and taken to an Israeli military interrogation facility. Shortly after the incident, Israeli settlers from Ofra blocked the road, and prevented the Palestinian residents from nearby villages from using the road.

Several hours after this incident, the Israeli army invaded Malek’s family home and detained his father, Malek, 51, and his brother Mousa, 17, while the army’s engineering corps took measurements of the house in preparation for demolishing it at a later date.

Ma’an News reported that Malek’s two best friends, Anas Hammad and Mohammad Ayyad, were killed by Israeli forces two weeks apart in December of 2015.

Rabea’ Salman

February 28, 2017: Rabea’ Najeh Salman, 20, was killed after falling into a deep quarry when Israeli soldiers chased him and several other workers after they tried to climb the Separation Wall to cross into Israel for work. The quarry he fell in was at least 50 meters (164 feet) deep which led to his instant death. Palestinian medics rushed to the scene after receiving a call about the incident, but he died from the fall, and was officially pronounced dead before the ambulance even reached Rafidia governmental hospital in Nablus. Erez Orbach

January 8, 2017: Erez Orbach, 20, was killed by a Palestinian driver who rammed him, and other soldiers with his car in Jerusalem.
