January 16, 2023: Amro Khaled Al-Khmour, 14, was killed by Israeli soldiers in the Deheishe refugee camp south of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the child succumbed to a serious gunshot wound to the head.
The child was shot at dawn when many army vehicles invaded the refugee camp, violently searched homes, and abducted a young man.
He was rushed to Beit Jala hospital before he was moved to Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation due to the seriousness of his wounds before he succumbed to his injuries.
The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Media sources said the soldiers searched several homes and abducted Mahmoud Salah Hammash, 24.
Hours after the child’s death, hundreds of Palestinians gathered in front of Beit Jala governmental hospital and marched to the child’s home in the Deheishe refugee camp.

The Palestinians held the funeral ceremony and procession and headed to the Shuhada graveyard in the Artas nearby village while chanting for liberation and independence and calling for International Protection for the Palestinian people.
The child’s death brings the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the first sixteen days of this year to fourteen, including four children.

January 15, 2023: Ahmad Hasan Abdul-Jalil Kahala, 45, was killed by Israeli soldiers at the western entrance of Silwad town, east of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
His sister added that the slain man is a married father of five; two boys and three girls, and one of his daughters will graduate from high school this year.

January 12, 2023: Samir Awni Harbi Aslan, 41, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers invading the Qalandia refugee camp at dawn. According to eyewitnesses, the soldiers first assaulted and brutalized Samir’s son, and when Samir came out to try to protect his child from the soldiers, they shot him in the chest and killed him.
January 11, 2023: Ahmad Amer Abu Jneid, 21, was shot in the head and killed by Israeli soldiers during an Israeli military invasion of the Balata refugee camp where he lived.
The soldiers fired a barrage of live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters.
It also stated that its fighters fired several live rounds after Ahmad’s killing at a colonialist settler’s car near Ramallah, in the central West Bank, and at the Al-Jalama military roadblock, northeast of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Wednesday evening.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, said the soldiers shot a young man, in his twenties, with a live round in the head.
