July 20, 2014: Seham Atta Al-Helou, 56, was killed by Israeli missiles that struck homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza city, during the heaviest shelling and bombardment targeting the densely-populated neighborhood, east of Gaza City; her husband, their three daughters and two sons, along with several relatives including twin infants and a child, were also killed, and dozens of Palestinians were wounded. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment. Odeh Lafy al-Wadj
July 19, 2014: Odeh Lafy al-Wadj, 31, was killed by Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip, during Operation Protective Edge” Israeli war on Gaza.
Odeh was killed after the shell struck his home in Wadi Jraba Arab community which is not recognized by Israel.
The village lacks basic infrastructure, does not have any protective shelters against rocket fire, and was not even under the protection of the Iron Dome air defense and missiles interception system.
His daughter was severely injured in the same incidents. Odeh was from Wadi Jraba. Source: B’Tselem
Bar Rahav
July 19, 2014: Bar Rahav, 21, was killed by an anti-tank missile fired, from the Gaza Strip at a paratrooper military station during Operation Protective Edge military offensive.
Bar was a Lieutenant who worked as a combat engineer with the Israeli Army. He was mortally wounded after the shell struck the paratrooper station, before being evacuated from the area, and eventually succumbed to his wounds.
Bar was from Ramat Yishai District, located on the side of the Haifa–Nazareth road. Source: B’Tselem

July 19, 2014: Karam Ibrahim Barham, 25, was killed by an Israeli missile that struck homes in the eastern part of Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing five Palestinians, and wounding many others. Dozens of Palestinians, including at least 11 members of al-Kilani family, were killed and hundreds were injured, in various Israeli bombings and shelling on that day alone.
