August 01, 2014: Benaya Sarel, 26, was killed by Hamas fighters along with two other soldiers in an ambush as they were inspecting a tunnel dug by Hamas, near the border with Gaza. The two soldiers have been identified as Hadar Goldin, 23, and Staff Sgt. Liel Gidoni, 20. Benaya was from Keryat Araba’ settlement in Hebron. Source: Haaretz
