November 10, 2018: Mohammad Ibrahim Shreiteh, 28, died from serious wounds he suffered two weeks earlier, when Israeli soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinians, protesting the illegal annexation of their lands, near Ramallah.

He suffered a serious injury on October 26, 2018, when the soldiers attacked nonviolent protesters marching in the an-Na’lan area, against the illegal annexation of their lands, especially since the soldiers and colonialist settlers are trying to confiscate large areas, including a public park.

The Ministry said Shreiteh shot with a live round in the head, and also sustained in the chest and limbs.

On the same day of his injury, the soldiers killed Othman Ahmad Ladadweh, 33, after shooting him with a bullet in his thigh, which penetrated towards his abdomen. The soldiers also wounded seven others, assaulted journalists, and shot one.

Ladadweh was shot with a live round in the upper thigh, but the bullet went through his spleen and liver, causing a very serious injury before he was rushed to the Istishari Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

Following Othman’s death, the Al-Haq Center for Applied International Law conducted a field investigation into the fatal shooting and said that the soldiers who opened fire at Mohammad and other Palestinian protesters in the area aimed at harming as many of them as possible.

Al-Haq reached this conclusion following its field documentation and follow-up, in addition to the review of eyewitness accounts, affidavits, and further available evidence, which showed that an Israeli soldier opened fire continuously and in a half-circle-shape towards protesting Palestinian youth, from a close distance.

Al-Haq added that the excessive use of force by the soldiers is similar to an incident which took place on 26 October 2018, north-west of al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyya, and to another incident that took place on 24 October 2018, in Tammoun village, in the Tubas Governorate, where Mohammad Bisharat was killed by the soldiers, and a number of others were injured.

November 9, 2018: Rami Wael Ishaq Qahman, 28, was killed by Israeli army fire, while 37 other Palestinians were injured, during the Great Return March processions near the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The spokesperson for the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip, Ashraf al-Qedra, has confirmed that Rami was shot and seriously injured, before he was rushed to the Gaza European Hospital, where he died from his wounds.

Rami was shot with a live round in the neck, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Dr. al-Qedra added.

He also confirmed that at least 37 Palestinians were injured with Israeli live ammunition, including six children, nine women and one female paramedic, identified as Falasteen Qdeih, who was shot in the leg.

Hundreds of Palestinian protesters held protests close to the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip; tires were set on fire across several areas while Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear-gas bombs to suppress protesters.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, 221 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of “The Great March of Return” on March 30th, while more than 24,000 others have been injured.

“The Great March of Return” protests were launched with the participation of thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza — which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege — who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homelands, now in present-day Israel.

Mohammad ‘Ala Abu Shabin

November 8, 2018: Mohammad ‘Ala Abu Shabin, 20, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers while at a Great Return March protest east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Mohammad ‘Ala Abu Shabin, 20, was shot with a live round in the upper chest, when the soldiers, stationed in military posts across the perimeter fence, opened fire at Palestinian protesters.

Several Palestinians were injured, and many others suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Mohammad’s body was transferred to the Al-Aqsa Hospital, in Deir al-Balah, in Central Gaza.

Ahmad Khaled Najjar

November 7, 2018: Ahmad Khaled Najjar, 21, died from serious wounds he suffered two weeks earlier, when Israeli soldiers shot him with live fire.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip stated that the young man, identified as Ahmad Khaled Najjar, 21, was shot with an expanding bullet in the abdomen.

The Ministry added that Najjar suffered very serious wounds, and was receiving treatment at the Gaza European Hospital, before he was transferred to the Al-Ahli Hospital, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, where he died from his wounds.

Ahmad was the cousin of both Ramzi Najjar, who was killed by Israeli army fire, on June 4^th 2018, and whose corpse is still held by Israel, and the medic, Razan Najjar, 22, who was killed by Israeli forces while helping treat wounded protesters, on Friday June 1st, 2018.

Ghanem Ibrahim Sharab

November 5, 2018: Ghanem Ibrahim Sharab, 44, died from complications resulting from wounds he suffered three weeks earlier, after Israeli soldiers shot him in southern Gaza.

The sources said that Ghanem was shot by the soldiers three weeks ago, and died from serious complications resulting from his injury. These complications progressed quickly after the doctors had to amputate his left foot, on October 29^th.

Gaza Strip hospitals have been complaining from serious deficiency in urgent medical supplies and equipment in the besieged and improvised coastal region.

The Health Ministry in Gaza issued numerous statements and appeals regarding the seriously deteriorating conditions in the hospitals, due to the thousands of injuries, including hundreds who suffered very serious wounds, since the Great Return March processions started on March 30^th, and the ongoing Israeli siege on the coastal region.

On Sunday evening, a Palestinian teenage boy, identified as Emad Khalil Shahin, 17, from the Nusseirat refugee camp in Central Gaza, died from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier, after Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured him.

On Saturday, a Palestinian child, identified as Mohammad Nasr al-Reefy, 14, died from serious wounds he suffered after the army fired a missile at his home, during the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip, in the summer of 2014.

Emad Khalil Shahin

November 4, 2018: Emad Khalil Shahin, 17, died from serious wounds he suffered a day earlier, after Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured him, in Central Gaza.

Emad was shot and seriously injured by the soldiers, on Saturday at night, during a protest in central Gaza, after the army claimed he “breached the perimeter fence.”

Palestinian sources said the teen was near the fence on the Palestinian side, when the soldiers shot and dragged him away.

Shahin suffered a very serious injury, before the army later airlifted him to Soroka hospital, in Be’er as-Sabe’ city (Beersheba), where he died from his wounds.

It is worth mentioning that the Shahin was injured by live Israel army fire several times, including one incident when he had several toes amputated, since the Great Return March procession started on Palestinian Land Day, March 30^th, 2018.

Mohammad Nasr ar-Reefy

November 3rd, 2018: Mohammad Nasr ar-Reefy, 14, died from serious wounds he suffered after the army fired a missile at his home, during the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip, in the summer of 2014.

The Al-Wafa’ Rehabilitation Hospital said the child, Mohammad Nasr ar-Reefy, 14, was seriously injured, on August 21, 2014, with injuries and shrapnel all over his body, including a piece in his spine, resulting in quadriplegia and various health complications.

The child was injured mainly in his neck and head when the Israeli army fired a missile at the family’s farmland, in the Tuffah neighborhood, in Gaza city.

The Israeli missile instantly killed the child’s brother Omar Nasr Ziad ar-Reefy, 4, and their father Nasr Ziad ar-Reefy, 35, in addition to his cousin Abdullah Tareq ar-Reefy, 7, and Abdullah’s brother Ziad, 13, along with their father, Mohammad Ziad Abed-Rabbo ar-Reefy, 28,

The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights reported at the time that, on Thursday morning August 21^st, 2014, an Israeli war jet fired a missile toward farmland owned by ar-Reefy family, near the an-Nafaq Street, north of Gaza city, killing five members of the family, including three children, and wounding four, including two children, identified as Maram ar-Reefi, and Ziad Tareq ar-Reefy, 9, who later died from his wounds.

It said the soldiers killed Ahmad Tareq ar-Reefy, Mohammad Tareq ar-Reefy, 13, Abdullah Tareq ar-Reefy, 6, and Mohammad Ziad Abed-Rabbo ar-Reefy, 28, and injured dozens, many of them seriously.

A few hours later, the army fired a missile into Sheikh Radwan Graveyard, north of Gaza city, killing four graveyard workers and caretakers, identified as Abdul-Rahim Talal Shweikh, 22, Rami Hamdi Salem, 20, Mohammad Hamdi Salem, 18, and Awsam Talal Shweikh, 45, in addition to seriously wounding Salem Abu Ghaddayeen, 28.

The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights said the soldiers killed at least 2218 Palestinians during the 51-day Israeli offensive on the coastal region, while dozens later died from their serious wounds. Around 84% of the slain Palestinians were civilians, including hundreds of children.

Al-Mezan stated that the Israeli bombardment and shelling of Palestinian homes, residential buildings and structures, resulted in wiping out entire families, while dozens of families lost multiple members. According to UN OCHA, 142 families lost 3 members or more in the Israeli attacks.

Mohammad Abdul-Hai Abu Abada

October 29, 2018: Mohammad Abdul-Hai Abu Abada, 27, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers during the 14^th Naval Procession in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

In addition to killing Mohammad, the soldiers also injured at least eighty other Palestinian protesters, including 15 who were shot with live fire,

After he was shot, Mohammad was rushed to the Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City, where he was declared dead due to his severe wounds.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad had been injured three separate times since the Great Return March processions started on March 30^th.

The Health Ministry added that the soldiers injured eighty Palestinians, including 15 with live fire, and added that seven medics were also wounded, some with live fire, while the rest suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

Many Palestinian protesters burnt tires in an attempt to blur the vision of Israeli army sharpshooters, who were heavily deployed along the northern border of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The army fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and high-velocity gas bombs at the protesters, causing dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.

The Health Ministry denounced the ongoing and excessive use of force by the army, and condemned the targeting of civilians and medics, in addition to calling on the international community to act and end the Israeli violations, especially against medical teams and volunteers.

It is worth mentioning that fifteen boats participated in the naval procession, while dozens of Palestinians protested at the shore, before the army started firing dozens of live rounds, in addition to gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets.

The Higher National Committee for the Return Processions and Breaking the Siege, said that the Palestinians will not bargain on their legitimate national rights, and that they reject the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’.

It added that “the world needs to understand that the Palestinian people will never trade their legitimate right for scraps of humanitarian aid and partial solutions, but are struggling for legitimate rights, not only to end the deadly siege on Gaza, but also for independence and liberation to live in dignity and liberty”.

On Sunday evening, the soldiers fire a shell at Palestinians, near the perimeter fence area, between Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, in the Gaza Strip, killing three children.

Abdul-Hamid Abu Thaher

October 28, 2018: Abdul-Hamid Mohammad Abdul-Aziz Abu Thaher, 13, was blown apart by an Israeli tank shell near the perimeter fence area, between Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, in the Gaza Strip, along with two other children.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has officially identified the three slain children as Khaled Bassam Mahmoud Abu Sa’id, 14, Abdul-Hamid Mohammad Abdul-Aziz Abu Thaher, 13, and Mohammad Ibrahim Abdullah Satri, 13.

The Ministry added that the three children are from Wadi al-Salqa area, in Deir al-Balah governorate, in central Gaza.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza said medics of the Red Crescent initiated a search campaign on foot, to locate the three slain Palestinians, and added that the medics eventually located their mutilated remains.

Dr. al-Qedra said that many ambulances, medics and medic volunteers arrived at the area to search for the remains of the slain Palestinians.

After locating them, the ambulances moved the mutilated remains to the Al-Aqsa Hospital, in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed that its soldiers “targeted Palestinians, who were attempting to place an explosive object near the border fence,” to allegedly target military vehicles driving there.

The three Palestinian children were killed in Palestinian lands near the perimeter fence, and did not cross it.

Local sources have reported that the three children may have been laying a trap for birds when they were attacked.
