May 18, 2021: ‘Ammar ‘Abdullah Fawzi al-Nader, 31, was killed by Israeli missiles in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said that Ammar was one of its fighters.
The brigades added that Ammar was killed after the Israeli army fired missiles into an area, east of Jabalia city, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Ammar suffered shrapnel wounds to several parts of his body and succumbed to his serious wounds.
On that day, the soldiers killed eight Palestinian, including one woman and one child, and injured 76 Palestinians, including nine women and elven children.
On the tenth day of the Israeli offensive on Gaza, death toll mounted to 221, Including 62 children and thirty-six women, and the total number of injuries reached 1034, including 310 children and 217 women.
The Israeli army continued the offensive on the Gaza Strip and carried out dozens of intense air, land, and sea strikes, targeting houses and civilian facilities.
As a result, the communications network was cut off, and the internet services were affected in the southern Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced that one of the main lines of the fiber-optic internet service connecting the central and southern Gaza Strip’s governorates with Gaza City was targeted today in the dawn, isolating Gaza from the outside world, noting that it was a standby line for the services provided by the Palestine Cellular Communications Company “Jawwal.”
