mohammad_tukrmanOctober 31, 2016: Mohammad Turkman, 25, was killed by Israeli soldiers close to Beit El settlement and security center, near Ramallah in the West Bank, after he opened fire at Israeli soldiers and wounded three, one seriously.

The Israeli army said the soldiers shot and killed the Palestinian, after wounding three of them, one seriously, at the Beit El road block.

The army added that the soldiers, manning a military tower close to the Annexation Wall, at the entrance of Beit El, came under fire from the Palestinian officer, before shooting him dead.

The officer has been identified as Mohammad Turkman, 25, from Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Palestinian medical sources said Turkman bled to death after the soldiers denied him medical attention, and prevented Palestinian Red Crescent medics from reaching him.

The Israeli ambulance provided the needed treatment to two wounded soldiers and moved them to hospitals in Israel.

turkmanFollowing the shooting several armored Israeli military vehicles invaded a fuel station, and a coffee shop, in the al-Baloa’ nearby area, in al-Biereh city.

The soldiers confiscated surveillance tapes and equipment, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs at local youngsters who hurled stones on the invading forces.

The army also declared Ramallah a closed military zone, and closed all military roadblocks leading to the district, in addition to installing several additional roadblocks.

 Mahmoud Rafat Badran, 15, was killed by Israeli soldiers who opened fire on a Palestinian car transporting teenagers who had just been swimming in a pool in a nearby village. Abdul-Rahman Wajih al-Barghouthi

December 01, 2015: Abdul-Rahman Wajih al-Barghouthi, 27, was killed by Israeli soldiers at a military roadblock, near Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said Israeli forces killed Abdul-Rahman when he was walking to his home in Aboud village, northwest of Ramallah.

The PCHR added that the soldiers killed the Palestinian man after he stabbed an Israeli soldier who was standing with other soldiers at the main entrance to the village.  However, PCHR’s investigations totally refute the Israeli story.

According to PCHR’s investigations and statements of eyewitnesses, an Israeli soldier opened fire at Abdul-Rahman after they slapped him on the face.

Due to which, Abdul-Rahman pushed the soldier who stumbled and fell on his back. The Israeli soldier immediately fired two bullets at him. Two other Israeli soldiers opened fire at him as well.

On the same day, Israeli forces stationed at the western entrance to Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, on Silwad-Yabroud road near bypass road (60), opened fire at a vehicle.

As a result, the driver Anas Bassam Abdul-Rahim Hammad, 21, was killed after he ran over a group of Israeli soldiers at the entrance to the village.

November 23, 2015: Ziv Mizraci, 18, was killed by a Palestinain in a stabbing attack at a gas station near Modi’in settlement near Ramallah in the West Bank. Ziv was an Israeli soldier. Two Israeli women, one of them also a soldier, were mildly injured. The Israeli army killed the Palestinian stabber, identified as Ahmad Jamal Taha. Ziv was from Givat Ze’ev in Jerusalem. Source: Haaretz

June 14, 2015: Abdullah Eyad Ghanayem, 22, was shot in the back by Israeli soldiers during their invasion of the village of Kafr Malek in the West Bank.

Medical sources said Ghanayem was shot in the spine in his lower back, fell to the ground, and was crushed to death by an Israeli military vehicle.

Eyewitnesses said the soldiers deliberately crushed Ghanayem with their jeep, and that the jeep flipped over him.

They added that the young man remained under the jeep for three hours, until he bled to death. Source: IMEMC

‘Ali Safi

March 25, 2015: ‘Ali Safi, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said Ali was serious injured a week earlier when the soldiers invaded the refugee camp and fired live rounds at protesters.

The PCHR added that the soldiers also injured seven Palestinian civilians, including five children.

On 25 March 2015, medical sources at Palestine Medical Compound in Ramallah pronounced Ali dead of his serious wounds.

His death led to massive protests in the refugee camp, and several parts of the Ramallah governorate, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing dozens of injuries.

December 11, 2014: Ziad Abu Ein, 55, was killed by an Israeli soldier who struck him in the chest in Turmus Ayya village, near Ramallah in the West Bank. The soldiers assaulted Palestinians and internationals planting trees on Palestinian land Israel wants to illegally confiscate, fired gas bombs and repeatedly targeted Ziad, who was a government minister heading the Palestinian Committee against the Wall and Settlements.  Ziad was from Ramallah.
