Ishaq Hamdi Al-Ajlouni

June 24, 2023: Ishaq Hamdi Amin Al-Ajlouni, 18, was killed by Israeli soldiers after he opened fire at soldiers and security guards at the Qalandia Terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

According to Israeli reports, the Palestinian arrived at the terminal and opened fire, mildly wounding a guard and another Israeli, before the soldiers shot and killed him.

Following the incident, soldiers and police officers were deployed in and around the terminal and closed it to the Palestinians.

After killing the young man, the Israeli Internal Security summoned Ishaq’s mother and his sister for interrogation at the Al-Maskobiyya interrogation facility and detention center in Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Post said the Palestinian allegedly arrived at the terminal on foot, carrying an M-16 rifle before he opened fire.

The Jerusalem Post added the head of the Jerusalem Police District, Doron Turgeman, arrived at the terminal to assess the situation.

It also quoted Zachi Heller, the spokesperson of the Israeli Magen David Adom emergences services, stating that a report was received about the shooting at 02:42 at dawn regarding a shooting at the terminal, before the medics provided treatment to two Israelis, aged 22 and 24, and moved them to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital, in Jerusalem.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fateh movement, claimed responsibility for the shooting.

On Wednesday, June 21, Israeli soldiers killed three Palestinians, identified as Soheib Adnan Al-Ghoul, 27, Mohammad Bashar Oweis, 28, and Ashraf Morad Sa’adi, 17.

On Wednesday dawn, a Palestinian child who suffered serious wounds after Israeli soldiers shot her during the military offensive in Jenin Monday succumbed to her injuries.

Medical sources at the Jenin governmental hospital said the soldiers shot the child, Sadeel Ghassan Turkman, 15, from the Jenin refugee camp, with a live round to the head and remained in critical condition until she succumbed to her wounds.

On Tuesday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of Nasser Saleh Mohammad Sinan, 55, whom Israeli soldiers shot in the head a month earlier in Jenin.

On Tuesday dawn, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of Amjad Aref Al-Ja’as, 48, who was shot and seriously injured by Israeli army fire Monday during the massive Israeli invasion of Jenin, during which the soldiers killed five Palestinians, and injured more than a 100, some seriously.

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured two after the army invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Samir Awni Aslan

January 12, 2023: Samir Awni Harbi Aslan, 41, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers invading the Qalandia refugee camp at dawn. According to eyewitnesses, the soldiers first assaulted and brutalized Samir’s son, and when Samir came out to try to protect his child from the soldiers, they shot him in the chest and killed him.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the slain man, Samir Awni Harbi Aslan, 41, a father of eight children from the Qalandia refugee camp, was killed after the soldiers shot him with live fire in the chest.

The Health Ministry added that, after shooting and seriously wounding Samir, the soldiers prevented the locals and Palestinian medics from reaching him to administer first aid and move him to a hospital.

“Baba (Dad) help me,” shouted Ramzi, 17, calling on his father, Samir Aslan, to save him from the Israeli occupation soldiers who broke into his home in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, at dawn this morning and arrested him.

At his son’s call, Samir, 41, rushed out of his apartment on the third floor of their four-story building. When he reached the entrance of the building, the soldiers aimed their guns at him and prevented him from coming out, forcing him to return to his home.

Samir could not bear the sight of his eldest son being arrested and handcuffed, knowing very well how brutal and barbaric the soldiers could be. But when he couldn’t see his son, he went to the roof of his building to watch what the soldiers were doing with his son. But as soon as he went up a wooden ladder placed on a wall on the roof, a sniper stationed in another building located directly behind his house shot him.”

The Qalandia Media Center said the soldiers also invaded and ransacked many homes and abducted fifteen Palestinians, including children and five former political prisoners.

The abducted Palestinians have been identified as Osama Na’im Hamad, Ali Hamad, Shafiq Awwad, Mo’tasem Awwad Hamsho, Adham Awwad, Ramzi Aslan (the son of the slain man), Eyad Emteir, Ahmad Emteir, Kamal Abu Ghweila, Ali Ibrahim Zayed, Karim Abu Latifa, Ehab Abu Latifa, Adam Badran, Mustafa Al-Jouri, and Mohammad Salah Al-Jouri.

National and Islamic factions in Qalandia issued statements mourning the slain man and calling for a general strike in the refugee camp.

On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers killed Sanad Mohammad Othman Samarma, 19, after he reportedly stabbed and moderately injured an Israeli colonialist settler near Havat Yehuda illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also Wednesday, The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that a seriously injured young man, Ahmad Amer Abu Jneid, 21, who Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured earlier in Balata refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, has succumbed to his wounds.

The number of Palestinians whom Israeli soldiers killed in the first twelve days of this year, 2023, is now seven.

Besides Samir, Sanad, and Ahmad, the soldiers killed Fu’ad Mohammad ‘Abed, 17, from Kafr Dan near Jenin, and Mohammad Samer Houshiyya, 22, from Al-Yamoun near Jenin, Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16, from Nablus, and Adam Essam Ayyad, 15, from Bethlehem.

Mohammad Ibrahim Shaham

August 15, 2022: Mohammad Ibrahim Shaham, 21, was killed by undercover Israeli soldiers in his home in Kafr Aqab neighborhood, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

His father said a soldier shot Mohammad, who was born in the nearby Qalandia refugee camp, with a live round to the head from point-blank range the moment he opened the door for the soldiers invading his home.

The soldiers also fired many live rounds in the property before ransacking it, and red several live rounds in the property causing excessive damage.

The father added that the soldiers left Shaham bleeding for about 40 minutes before they took his corpse and withdrew from the town.

The father stated that the invasion into the property took place around 3:30 at dawn, before one of the soldiers put the pistol against Mohammad’s forehead and shot him.

“This is an assassination in cold blood, just like they did in Jenin, and what they are doing across occupied Palestine,” the father added, “The soldiers didn’t ask for our names, ID cards or ask any questions, they just stormed the property and assassinated by son. Just five months ago, exactly on March 15, the soldiers killed his cousin.”

His cousin’s name is Ala’ Mohammad Shaham, 22, he shot also shot in the head in the Qalandia refugee camp, where the soldiers also shot and injured six other young men with live rounds, who were all transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

The family denied the Israeli military allegations that claimed the Palestinian attempted to stab the soldiers, adding that the Israeli reports are just meant to justify killing him with a cause or justification.

Ala’ Mohammad Shaham

Ala ShahamMarch 15, 2022: Ala’ Mohammad Shaham, 22, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Ministry added that the young man, identified as Ala’ Mohammad Shaham, 22, was shot with live rounds in the head and died instantly.

Soldiers also shot and injured six other young men with live rounds, who were all transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Two more young men from the refugee camp were abducted by Israeli soldiers and taken to an unknown location.

The Palestinian was not part of protests but was heading to his work in the al-Ram town but was met with Israeli soldiers who invaded the refugee camp before they fired several fatal live rounds at him.

His father, Mohammad, said Ala’ loved his work and was a very compassionate, loving young man who always helped his family and his friends.

“He was the youngest of my three children,” the father said, “He was a hardworking young man who always helped us,” Mohammad added, “What can I say, thank God for everything, may his soul rest in peace…”

According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) investigation and eyewitnesses’ testimonies regarding the murder in Qalandia camp, at approximately 07:30 on Tuesday, 15 March 2022, a large Israeli force moved into Qalandia camp, north of occupied East Jerusalem, from two sides. During the invasion, Israeli snipers topped the roofs of houses and residential buildings while Israeli forces raided and searched several houses and abducted Wesam ‘Ataa Abu Latifa and Mohammed Hasan Abu Latifa.

Afterwards, dozens of Palestinian young men gathered on the camps streets and topped the houses roofs. They threw stones and empty bottles at the soldiers, who fired heavy live bullets at them. As a result, 7 civilians sustained live bullet wounds; one of them was ‘Alaa Mohammed al-Shahaam (24), who was shot with several live bullets in his head and all over his body while topped one of the houses’ roof. All the wounded were taken a Medical Complex in Ramallah, where medical sources announced the death of al-Shahaam upon his arrival at the hospital while the health condition of the other wounded was stable.

PCHR points out that Israeli murders of Palestinian civilians have been on the rise, including the use of snipers and direct shooting to kill, harm, and cause severe injuries, ascertaining that these crimes are done without justification So far in 2022, Israeli forces have killed 16 Palestinian civilians, including 4 children, and wounded tens of others, including women and children; all of them are residents of the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem.

Nader Haitham Rayyan, 17

In related news, Israeli troops killed a Palestinian child, Nader Haitham Rayyan, 17, early Tuesday morning after storming the Balata refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, in addition to shooting and injuring three more young men.

The slain child suffered serious wounds and was transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where he succumbed to his wounds.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli soldiers have killed twenty Palestinians since the beginning of this year.

Since the beginning of 2022, the army has killed twenty Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories, the Ministry of Health reported.

Various Palestinian factions called on retaliation and ongoing resistance against the illegal occupation and the escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, their homes, lands, and holy sites.

Fahmi Abdul-Rauf Hamad

January 24, 2022: Fahmi Abdul-Rauf Hamad, 57, died from the severe effects of tear gas inhalation he suffered at an UNRWA-run clinic in Qalandia refugee, camp north occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank, after Israeli soldiers invaded the area and fired many gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Medical sources said the soldiers invaded the refugee camp and fired a barrage of gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians who protested the invasion, in addition to a clinic, and many surrounding homes.

They added that Fahmi suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation while inside a clinic run by UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees).

Palestinian medics tried to resuscitate the injured man and rushed him to a hospital in Ramallah, but he succumbed to his wounds.

One of his relatives said the man had preexisting medical conditions, including kidney failure and diabetes, and added that many patients in the clinic also suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

He stated that Fahmi used to frequently head to the clinic for medical treatment, including dialysis.

He also said that the soldiers fired dozens of gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets at the Palestinians, including the area of the clinic.

In related news, the soldiers placed mobile homes in the location of the evacuated Homesh illegal colony, near Silat ath-Thaher town, south of Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank.

The soldiers also assaulted and injured a former political prisoner, identified as Islam Nidal Hamarna, from Ya’bad town, west of Jenin.

In addition, several illegal Israeli colonizers injured a Palestinian teen near the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank. The soldiers also abducted a young man at the roadblock.

It is worth mentioning that Fahmi is the sixth Palestinian to be killed this month.

On January 17th, a Palestinian man, identified as Faleh Mousa Jaradat, 39, was killed by Israeli soldiers at the Etzion Junction, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank after the army claimed he attempted a stabbing attack against the soldiers.

Also on January 17th, Sheikh Suleiman al-Hathalin, 75, died from serious wounds he suffered on January 5th, 2022, after an Israeli tow truck ran him over in the Um al-Khair area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

On January 12th, an elderly Palestinian American man, Omar Abul-Majid As’ad, 80, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded a village north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, before detaining and constantly assaulting him in an under-construction building.

On January 6th, the soldiers killed Bakeer Mohammad Hashash, 21, near Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also on January 6th, Mustafa Yassin Falna, 25, was killed after being rammed by an Israeli vehicle while heading to his work in Jerusalem.

Mohammad Ali Dar Adwan

April 1, 2019: Mohammad Ali Dar Adwan, 23, was shot and killed by Israeli forces who invaded Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Monday, and attacked local protesters, wounding at least two other young men.

The Palestinians gathered in the streets and alleys of the refugee camp, and protested the invasion, while several protesters hurled stones at the armored military jeeps.

The soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at the protesters.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot three young men in the refugee camp, and the al-Matar adjacent neighborhood.

Adwan was near his home when he was shot and killed – it was unclear if he was participating in the protest or not.

The WAFA Palestinian News Agency said Mohammad ran towards his home due to the intensity of the live rounds fired by the soldiers, but once he approached his home several soldiers were standing right in front of it, and opened fire at him.

WAFA added that the soldiers shot the young man with more than 10 bullets, before dragging his body into their jeep, and prevented medics from reaching him to provide aid, until he had passed away from blood loss.

The Israeli forces then handed Adwan’s corpse to medics with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, who transferred his body to the Ramallah governmental hospital.

His funeral ceremony was held at noon after his body was transferred via ambulance to his home, where thousands of Palestinians gathered and participated in his funeral procession and ceremony.

During the invasion of the camp, Israeli forces stormed the home of the Rajab family, and abducted three brothers: Ibrahim Rajab, Yousef Rajab, and No’man Rajab.

The killing of Adwan comes after a brutal crackdown on the Palestinian Land Day protest on Saturday in Gaza, in which three Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces. Two of those killed were 17 years old.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers also invaded the nearby city of Betunia, in addition to the villages of Qarawat Bani Zeid and Kafr Ein.

The soldiers searched many homes, and summoned for interrogation a former political prisoner, identified as Mahran Raja Saif, after invading his home in Qarawat Bani Zeid village.
