His father, mother, twin brother, along with several relatives, including children, were also killed, and many Palestinians were wounded. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment. Odeh Lafy al-Wadj
July 19, 2014: Odeh Lafy al-Wadj, 31, was killed by Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip, during Operation Protective Edge” Israeli war on Gaza.
Odeh was killed after the shell struck his home in Wadi Jraba Arab community which is not recognized by Israel.
The village lacks basic infrastructure, does not have any protective shelters against rocket fire, and was not even under the protection of the Iron Dome air defense and missiles interception system.
His daughter was severely injured in the same incidents. Odeh was from Wadi Jraba. Source: B’Tselem
