May 4, 2019: Falasteen Saleh Abu Arar, 37, was killed along with her 14-month old baby Saba Mahmoud Abu Arar when their home was targeted by an Israeli missile. Falasteen was six months pregnant.

The missile was fired by Israeli forces who carried out a series of bombings and air strikes targeting the Gaza Strip throughout the day. A total of four civilians were killed, and more than 30 civilians wounded.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, reported that Falasteen suffered very serious wounds to the head and other parts of her body, and died from her wounds.

Dr. al-Qedra added that the soldiers also moderately injured another daughter of the slain pregnant mother.

The Israeli military claimed in a statement that they blame Hamas for the deaths of the mother and child, claiming an errant rocket was to blame, but eyewitnesses contradicted that claim, saying that the mother and child were killed by an Israeli missile.

In another missile fired on the same morning, the Israeli soldiers killed another Palestinian, identified as Khaled Mohammad Abu Qleiq, 25. His death came as the army fired several missiles into areas in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The soldiers also fired many missiles at homes in the neighborhoods of the Sheja’eyya, Tuffah and Zeitoun, in Gaza city, causing many injuries and serious property damage.

At least thirty Palestinians have been injured in the ongoing Israeli bombardments, that caused damage to several homes in the Gaza Strip, including two residential buildings west of Gaza city.

Among the targeted buildings was “Abdullah al-Hourani Center for Studies and Documentation” which is run by Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), in Gaza City.

The Center is located in a residential building which was targeted by several Israeli missiles, Saturday.

The Israeli bombardment also caused damage to several shops and stores, in addition to media agencies, including the Turkish Anadolu News Agency.

The Israeli bombings and air strikes were still ongoing at the time of this report, over several parts of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Armed resistance factions in Gaza said they retaliated in response to the Israeli escalation by firing shells into several Israeli areas, including Ofakim, Asqalan (Ashkelon), Be’er as-Sabe’ (Beersheba) and Keryat Gat.

Earlier Saturday, the soldiers killed one Palestinian, identified as Emad Mohammad Nosseir, 22, from Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

On Friday, the soldiers killed two Palestinians during the Great Return March processions, and later killed two members of the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

Besides killing the two Palestinians at the Great Return March, the soldiers also injured 82 Palestinian protesters, including 34 children, two journalists and three medics.

May 4, 2019: Khaled Mohammad Abu Qleiq, 25, was killed when the Israeli army fired several missiles into areas in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The missile that killed Khaled was fired by Israeli forces who carried out a series of bombings and air strikes targeting the Gaza Strip throughout the day. A total of four civilians were killed, and more than 30 civilians wounded.

May 4, 2019: Emad Mohammad Nosseir, 22, was killed by an Israeli airstrike in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed, Saturday, one Palestinian and injured at least seven others, during a series of air strikes and bombings targeting several areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Health Ministry said the soldiers injured seven other Palestinians, including four who were wounded in previous air strikes targeting Beit Hanoun.

The Israeli Air Force also carried out several strikes targeting areas in northern Gaza, including many sites, run by armed resistance groups hundreds of meters away from the perimeter fence.

The targeted areas are in Rafah and Khan Younis, in southern Gaza Strip, the Central District and Gaza city, in addition to Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The army also fired many artillery shells into Palestinian farmlands along the eastern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Education Ministry  granted authority to the principals of all schools in targeted and border areas to evacuate the schools and send the children to their homes without consulting with it, in order to avoid civilian casualties.

Students in most Gaza Strip schools are sitting for their final exams this week.

In addition, the Health Ministry has reported that it instructed all medical centers to be on high alert and utmost readiness, in case of further Israeli escalation.

Israeli sources said Palestinian armed groups in Gaza fired 90 shells into Rehovot, Ashdod, Sderot, and areas in Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council of Settlements.

In addition, the National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) said it fired a missile into Asqalan (Ashkelon).

The Israeli army also closed several areas around the Gaza Strip, and restricted civilian access to them, due to the rising tension in the region, especially after two soldiers were injured, Friday, while the military killed four Palestinians.

Two of the slain Palestinians were killed during the Great Return March processions, and two members of the Al-Qassam Brigades were later killed by Israeli missiles.

Besides killing the two four Palestinians, the soldiers also injured 82 Palestinians, including 34 children, 2 journalists and 3 medics.

Khaled Akram Ma’rouf

November 13, 2018: Khaled Akram Yousef Ma’rouf, 29, was killed by an Israeli missile in the Shaima’ area, in Beit Lahia.

An Israeli military drone fired, on Tuesday evening, a missile at Palestinians in the Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, killing one and wounding two others.  Five Palestinians were also injured in Rafah and Khan Younis.

The dead and wounded were all moved to the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia.

In addition, an Israeli drone fired a missile at Palestinians near the al-‘Aqqad School, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, wounding two young men, before they were rushed to Abu Yousef Najjar Hospital in the city.

Furthermore, the army fired missiles at an area which the Army claimed was a center for an armed resistance group in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, wounding three Palestinians, and causing damage to the building.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mofeed al-Hasayneh, has reported that the Israeli shelling and bombardment in the Gaza Strip, since Sunday, has caused destruction and damage to hundreds of buildings and structures.

He said that eight residential units were destroyed, 50 were partially but seriously damaged, and 750 sustained light to moderate damage, and added that most of the targeted buildings are in the Gaza governorate.

The Israeli shells and missiles struck homes, the headquarters of Al-Aqsa TV, Ar-Rahma residential building, Al-Amal Hostel, Palestine Academy for Science and Technology, Ansar Governmental Center, a building owned by al-Yaziji family, in addition to many other buildings, structures and infrastructure sites.

Also killed on November 13th were Khaled Riyad Ahmad Sultan, 26, who was killed by an Israeli airstrike while working on his own farmland, in the Salateen area, west of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and Mos’ab Hos, 20, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Malaka area, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza city.

Since Saturday, the Israeli military has killed thirteen Palestinians, and injured dozens, in the Gaza Strip.

November 13, 2018: Khaled Riyad Ahmad Sultan, 26, was killed by an Israeli airstrike while working on his own farmland, in the Salateen area, west of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

He was one of three Palestinians killed on November 13th by Israeli airstrikes. Dozens of people were injured in a series of air strikes targeting residential buildings, lands and structures, in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli missiles severely mutilated the remains of the slain Palestinians, and caused various injuries and burns to at least three others.

Furthermore, the soldiers injured at least two Palestinians after the army fired missiles into an area near a local mosque, east of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army carried out many strikes in several parts of the Gaza Strip, causing excessive property damage, including many buildings and roads.

An Israeli fighter-jet fired missiles into a residential building in the densely-populated ar-Rimal neighborhood, in the center of Gaza city.

The building, owned by members of the al-Yaziji family, was completely leveled to the ground, while many surrounded homes and properties were damaged.

The escalation came hours after the army targeted many residential neighborhoods, and various buildings, including government-run facilities, and a hotel west of Gaza city.

November 13, 2018: Mos’ab Hos, 20, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Malaka area, east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza city.

He was one of three Palestinians killed on November 13th by Israeli airstrikes. Dozens of people were injured in a series of air strikes targeting residential buildings, lands and structures, in various parts of the Gaza Strip.

November 12, 2018:  Hamad Mohammad al-Nahal, 23, was killed in an airstrike that targeted the eastern part of Rafah city, in southern Gaza, on a day in which Israel dropped hundreds of bombs in the Gaza Strip, leaving three Palestinians dead, and at least five others wounded.

In addition, Mohammed Zohdi Odeh, 22, and Mohammad Zakariya al-Tatri, 27, were also killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the northern part of the Strip.

At least five other Palestinians were injured with missile shrapnel during airstrikes which targeted the eastern part of the Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza, where three people were wounded, and the northern part of the town of Beit Lahiya, in the northern Strip, where two people were wounded.

The army also fired missiles at a college in Tal al-Hawa, west of Gaza city, causing excessive damage, in addition to firing missiles into lands in Gaza city, in addition to the central and northern part of the coastal region.

In addition, the Israeli Air Force fired missiles into the Al-Aqsa TV station in Gaza.

The army first fired a “warning missile” into the station, then later fired another missile at it. The TV station broadcast was stopped, but was later restored.

Furthermore, Israeli daily Haaretz said Palestinian fighters in Gaza fired at least 300 shells into Israeli areas, Monday, including an anti-tank missile which seriously injured a soldier, 19 years of age, and mildly wounding the driver, 25, who suffered from “shock.”

It added that ten Israelis were wounded, including a woman and a man, who suffered serious and moderate wounds.

Later in the same day, a Palestinian shell fired into Ashkelon killed a man, who turned out to be a Palestinian worker from Hebron.

Bassem Hassan Hijazi

August 26, 2014: Bassem Hassan Hijazi, 35, was one of three men killed in a car bombing on al-Sahaba street in Gaza City, and three bystanders were seriously wounded.

Bassem was killed along with his brother, Ahmad Hassan Salem Hijazi, 22, and Ahmad Taysir Fahmi al-Daali, age 28, who was initially taken to the hospital with critical injuries, but died while in surgery. None of the three men were associated with any Palestinian resistance factions.

An additional 4 casualties, including a journalist, killed on Monday evening brought the death toll from Israeli bombings to 9 on Monday. This follows a weekend of attacks on all parts of Gaza, in which 32 people were killed since Friday, including 3 young brothers and their sister and 5 other children under the age of 10. On Monday evening, Journalist Abdullah Fadel Murtaja was killed by an Israeli airstrike in al-Shuja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Saad Bassem aj-Jour, 21, was killed in an airstrike that targeted his home east of Gaza City. A number of civilians, including women and children, were wounded, but emergency workers are still working to pull people from the rubble, so the exact number of wounded is not yet known.

At least 9 people total were killed on Monday, and Israeli airstrikes in all parts of Gaza are ongoing. Warplanes and drones continue to hover overhead at all hours of the day and night, and most people remain without electricity.

Families whose homes have been destroyed are crowded together with relatives, or are stuck in UN schools, and the school year which was scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 24th was unable to begin, as many schools are damaged and families are living in many of the other schools.

There have been 2,133 people killed by Israeli forces in Gaza since July 8th, and 10,980 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which has documented each casualty and every person who came to one of Gaza’s hospitals with injuries.
