February 28, 2017: Rabea’ Najeh Salman, 20, was killed after falling into a deep quarry when Israeli soldiers chased him and several other workers after they tried to climb the Separation Wall to cross into Israel for work. The quarry he fell in was at least 50 meters (164 feet) deep which led to his instant death. Palestinian medics rushed to the scene after receiving a call about the incident, but he died from the fall, and was officially pronounced dead before the ambulance even reached Rafidia governmental hospital in Nablus.
