October 17, 2015: Omar Mohammad al-Faqih, 23, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers after he allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli settler at Qalandia military checkpoint north of Jerusalem. The soldiers shot him from close distance and left him bleeding to death. Omar was from Qatna village, northwest of East Jerusalem. Source: Palestinian Center for Human Rights
