July 21, 2017: Mohammad Lafi, 18, was killed by Israeli army fire in Abu Dis town, east of East Jerusalem, after the soldiers invaded it, and clashed with local youths.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Mohammad was shot with a live round in his heart, and was moved to the Palestine Medical Complex, in Ramallah, where he died from his serious wounds.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that at least 140 Palestinians have been injured, in different parts of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, and that most of them were shot by the army, and many others suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted by the soldiers.
The soldiers also attacked many Palestinian medics, and fired gas bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets and live rounds at many ambulances, and invaded many Palestinian homes in the Old City, in addition to installing roadblocks in several areas, including the Gate of the Tribes (Bab Al-Asbat), Herod’s Gate (Bab al-Sahera), and Council Gate (Bab al-Majles), Jaffa Gate, al-Misrara, at-Tour, Wadi al-Jouz and Silwan.
On the same day, an armed Israeli settler Mohammad Mahmoud Sharaf, 18, in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood, while the soldiers killed Mohammad Hasan Abu Ghannam, 20, in at-Tour neighborhood, in East Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC
