August 01, 2014: Hadar Goldin, 23, was killed by Hamas fighters along with two other soldiers in an ambush as they were inspecting a tunnel dug by Hamas, near the border with Gaza. The two soldiers have been identified as Maj. Benaya Sarel, 26, and Staff Sgt. Liel Gidoni, 20. Hadar was from Kfar Saba. Source: Haaretz
