Afnan Wisam Shuheibar
July 17, 2014: Afnan Wisam Shuheibar, 8, was killed by a missile fired from an Israeli drone at the family’s home in the densely populated al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza city. Two of her cousins, identified as Jehad Issam Shuheibar, 10, and Wasim Issam Shuheibar, 9, were also killed in the attack, while two other children, identified as Basil Yasser Shuheibar, 8, and Udai Shuheibar, 16, were injured. Afnan and her cousins were feeding the family’s chickens and pigeons on the rooftop of their home when the Israeli drone fired a missile at the property. Afnan was from Gaza. July 10, 2014: Fatma Mahmoud Al-Haj, 14, was killed by Israeli missiles fired at her family’s 100 square/meter house, and several nearby buildings, in the densely-populated Khan Younis refugee camp, in Khan Younis city, the southern part of the Gaza Strip, completely destroying the house, and also killing her father, Mahmoud, 52, Mother, Basma, 51, three brothers, Omar, 20, Tareq, 18, and Sa’d, 16, and her sisters, Asma’, 22, and Najla’, 26, while 23 Palestinians, including children, were injured due to the bombing which also destroyed nearby homes.
