Jawdat Abu Jame’

July 20, 2014: Jawdat Tawfiq Abu Jame’, 13, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired missiles into the three-story house of her father Tawfiq Ahmad Abu Jame’, where five families lived, in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Among the dead Palestinians was her mother, Sabah, 39, and her sisters, Razan, 14, Aya, 10, Haifa, 9, and Maysa, only one day old, in addition to her brothers, Tawfiq, 5, and Ahmed, 10.

The intensity of the Israeli bombardment and shelling prevented medics and rescue teams from conducting an efficient search, and a day later, they found 26 corpses under the rubble, including 19 children and five women; one of the children was a one-day old infant, and one was four months, while the rest were between the ages of 2 and 14. Maram Ahmed Al-Helou

: Maram Ahmed Al-Helou, 2, was killed by Israeli missiles that struck homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Her father, mother, and five-month twin infant brothers, along with several relatives, including children, were also killed, and many Palestinians were wounded. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment. Najiya Jehad Al-Helou

It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment. Seham Atta Al-Helou

July 20, 2014: Seham Atta Al-Helou, 56, was killed by Israeli missiles that struck homes in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza city, during the heaviest shelling and bombardment targeting the densely-populated neighborhood, east of Gaza City; her husband, their three daughters and two sons, along with several relatives including twin infants and a child, were also killed, and dozens of Palestinians were wounded. It took rescue and civil defense teams until July 27th to recover most of the bodies of the slain Palestinians as they remained buried under the rubble amidst ongoing Israeli bombardment.
