January 10, 2017: Mohammad Salhi, 33, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded his home and shot him with several live rounds, including in the head. He was killed in front of his family after he rushed to his mother’s aid when he heard the soldiers shouting at her and beating her. January 8, 2017: Fadi Qunbar, 20, was killed after ramming his truck into a group of Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem, killing four soldiers before he was shot dead. Fadi, a former political prisoner, was from Jabal al-Mokabber, in Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC
January 3, 2017: Maj. Hagai Ben-Ari, 31, died from serious wounds he suffered in Gaza during Israel’s “Defensive Shield” offensive against the Gaza Strip in the summer of 2014. The paratrooper’s serious wounds put him in a coma until his death. Hagai was from the Golan Heights. Source: IMEMC
December 23, 2016: Fares al-Bayed, 15, died from serious wounds he suffered in October 2016 when Israeli soldiers shot him with a live round in the head after dozens of army vehicles invaded the al-Jalazoun refugee camp in Ramallah and clashed with local youths, causing scores of injuries. December 22, 2016: Ahmad Nash’at Kharroubi, 19, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Kafr Aqab neighborhood in Jerusalem, and partially demolished the home of Misbah Abu Sbeih, who was killed by the army in October 2016. Ahmad was from Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC
December 18, 2016: Ahmad Hazem Rimawi, 17, was killed by Israeli soldiers who invaded Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah in the West Bank, and shot him with several live rounds including one that penetrated his heart. Ahmad was from Beit Rima. Source: IMEMC
December 14, 2016: Hammad Khader Sheikh, 21, was shot by Israeli soldiers at the Lion’s Gate in Jerusalem and bled to death, while a child, 12, was injured with bullet fragments in the head as he was leaving school with his brother. Hammad reportedly stabbed and mildly wounded two Israeli soldiers with a screw driver. He was from Beit Surik town, northwest of Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC
December 8, 2016: Muhammad Jihad Hussein Harb, 18, was shot and killed by Israeli border police officers at a checkpoint near Za’tara in Nablus District in the West Bank. According to the police, the officers called out to him to stop and he took out a knife and charged at them. Video footage shows him standing still with officers aiming their weapons at him. November 25, 2016: Mohammad Nabil Zeidan, 14, was killed by Israeli soldiers at Shu’fat military roadblock, east of Jerusalem, after the soldiers boarded a bus to inspect it. The soldiers alleged that the boy attempted to stab them. Mohammad was from Shu’fat refugee camp. Source: IMEMC
November 22, 2016: Jihad Mohammad Khalil, 48, was killed by Israeli soldiers at the Qalandia terminal, north of Jerusalem, after the soldiers claimed that he tried to stab them. The army closed the terminal and prevented Palestinian medics from reaching him. Jihad was from Beit Wazan village, west of Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank. Source: IMEMC
