Ahmad Sa’id Abu Libda

October 26, 2018: Ahmad Sa’id Abu Libda, 22, was shot east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, according to Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza.

He was killed when Israeli soldiers engaged in the excessive use of force against the Great Return March Procession in several parts of the Gaza Strip, Friday, killing four Palestinians, and injuring 232 others, including 180 who were shot with live fire.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that the soldiers shot 180 Palestinians with live fire, including one medic who was shot in his leg, and suffered a moderate injury, while helping wounded Palestinians at a make-shift clinic, east of the al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza.

The Health Ministry added that among the wounded Palestinians are eight paramedics who were shot while providing the needed medical aid to wounded Palestinians in protests areas, in addition to 51 children, eight women in the eastern parts of the coastal region.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli army sharpshooters, stationed in fortified posts hundreds of meters across the border fence, targeted the protesters with live fire, while the soldiers fire live rounds, in addition to dozens of high-velocity gas bombs.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the soldiers also killed Nassar Abu Tayyim, 19, and Ayesh Ghassan Shaat, 23, east of Khan Younis.

A fourth Palestinian, Mohammad Khaled Mahmoud Abdul-Nabi, 27, died at the Shifa Medical Center, from serious wounds he suffered after the soldiers shot him, east of Jabalia, in northern Gaza.

On the same day, a Palestinian identified as Jabr Ibrahim Abu Hmeisa, 27, was killed and another young man was injured in what was described as an accidental explosion in the al-Boreij refugee camp, in Central Gaza.

A group calling itself the Mujahidin Brigades said the young man was killed “during preparation” without providing further details. He was killed in a building, and was not part of the Great Return March processions.

On Friday evening, the soldiers invaded the al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyya village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, killed one Palestinian, identified as Othman Ahmad Ladadweh, 33, and injured dozens, including eight who were shot with live fire, while the soldiers also assaulted journalists, and shot one.

October 26, 2018: Nassar Eyad Abu Tayyim, 19, was shot east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, and died from his serious wounds at the Gaza European Hospital, according to Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza.

Jabr Ibrahim Abu Hmeisa

October 26, 2018: Jabr Ibrahim Abu Hmeisa, 27, was killed in an explosion in the al-Boreij refugee camp, in Central Gaza.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qedra, the spokesperson of the Health Ministry in Gaza, reported that Jabr was killed , and another Palestinian was injured in the same incident.

An armed group calling itself the Mujahidin Brigades, said the Abu Hmeisa was one of its members, and that he died in an accidental explosion, without providing further details.

It is worth mentioning that Israeli soldiers killed, Friday, four Palestinians, identified as identified as Nassar Eyad Abu Tayyim, 19, Ayesh Ghassan Shaat, 23, Ahmad Sa’id Abu Libda, 22, and Mohammad Khaled Mahmoud Abdul-Nabi, 27, during the Great Return March Processions near the perimeter fence in the besieged Gaza Strip, and injured 232 others, including 180 who were shot with live fire.

Mohammad Mahmoud Bisharat

October 24, 2018: Mohammad Mahmoud Bisharat, 21, was shot in the back and killed by Israeli forces while protesting the Israeli military invasion of his town, Tammoun, located in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

In addition to killing Mohammad, the soldiers injured eleven others by shooting at a group of teens and young men who had come out to protest the Israeli invasion of Tammoun, in the early morning hours.

Medial sources said that Mohammad was shot with a live round in the back, and died from his wounds shortly afterwards.

The Palestinian was studying Health and Hospital Management at the Al-Quds Open University, Nablus Branch, in northern West Bank.

Many Palestinian protested the militate invasion into their town, and hurled stones, in addition to using fireworks, targeting the invasion armored military jeeps.

The soldiers fired many live rounds, in addition to gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at the protesters.

Medical sources said the soldiers shot three Palestinians with live fire, including one who suffered a moderate-to-severe wound, and three others with rubber-coated steel bullets, while at least five Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation.

In related news, Palestinian protesters hurled Molotov cocktails at army jeeps invading Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.

Montaser Mohammad al-Baz

October 23, 2018: Montaser Mohammad Ismael al-Baz, 17, was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers while protesting at the border fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Montaser was shot and seriously injured with a live round in the head.

The seriously wounded Palestinian was transferred to the Al-Aqsa Hospital, and was later rushed to the Shifa Medical Center, due to the seriousness of his condition, where he succumbed to his wounds.

The Ministry added that at least five other Palestinians were shot live ammunition, when the soldiers, stationed in fortified sniper posts hundreds of meters across the border fence, targeted Palestinian protesters in their lands, near the perimeter fence, in central Gaza.

On October 19th, 2018, the Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights reported that the army had killed 217 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including 163 who were killed at the protests, among them 33 children, one woman, two journalists, three paramedics, and four persons with disability, since the Great Return March processions started in the Gaza Strip on Palestinian Land Day, on March 30th, 2018.

The report by al-Mezan added that at least 11,155 persons were injured, including 2,009 children, 442 women, 122 paramedics, and 130 journalists.

Of those injured, 6,392 were hit by live fire, including 1,016 children and 120 women. The Israeli military continues to hold the bodies of ten of the killed, including of two children.

The Palestinians are demanding the legitimate internationally guaranteed Right of Return, to their villages and towns, which they are forced out from in 1948, before Israel was established in the historic land of Palestine.

They are also demanding an end to the deadly 12-year blockade and siege on the over 2 million Palestinians living in the devastated and war-torn Gaza Strip.

It is worth mentioning that, on October 22, 2018, the soldiers killed a Palestinian, identified as Moammar Arif al-Atrash, 42, near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Malak Rabah Abu Jazar

October 23, 2018: Malak Rabah Abu Jazar, 4, drowned to death when a boat filled with immigrants capsized off the coast of Bodrum resort town, northwest of Turkey, where she and her parents were trying to flee the conditions in Gaza.

The Turkish Coast Guard has confirmed that the boat capsized near Bodrum, leading to the death of two children.

One of the slain children, identified as Malak Rabah Abu Jazar, only four years of age, is from Rafah city, while several members of her family were injured in the incident.

A day after her death, her cousin, Ehab ‘Aaed Abu Jazar, 4, died at a hospital in Turkey, despite the efforts to save his life, he had excessive amount on water in his lungs.

A second child, a seven-year-old girl,  was also killed in the incident.

The Daily Sabah Newspaper said two children were killed, and eighteen migrants were rescued when the boat, “carrying illegal migrants sank off the Coast of Bodrum, a resort town in southwestern Turkey located near the Greek island of Kos.”

The capsized boat was carrying 34 migrants from various nationalities that were still being verified at the time of this report, while fourteen of them managed to safely swim to the shore.

The migrants boarded the 9-meter-long fiber glass boat just minutes before it started sinking off the beach of Gümbet beach in Bodrum.

The Daily Sabah said locals heard the screams of the migrants and called the police, before Coastal Guards rushed to the area and initiated a rescue campaign.

In a Facebook post, the Abu Jazar family has confirmed Malak’s death, and said that Rabah Abul-Ghani Abu Jazar, and Aa’ed Abdullah Abu Jazar, along with their families, were rescued.

The Turkish coastal police launched an investigation and reportedly detained four suspects, whose identities were not revealed, but are believed to be smugglers helping the migrants sneak out of Turkey and into Greece, Daily Sabah has reported.

It added that the capsized boat had the capacity to carry ten persons, but was instead carrying 34.

The Turkish coastguard is searching for potential survivors, especially since the accounts about the number of people aboard the boat are conflicting.

The Daily Sabah said the fourteen migrants from Somalia, and Palestine, were located in the area, and told the police that they were supposed to be on board the capsized boats, but couldn’t do so because it was already overcrowded before it sailed.

Moammar Arif al-Atrash

October 22, 2018: Moammar Arif Refa’ey al-Atrash, 42, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers near the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the center of Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank.

The army claimed that Moammar had tried to carry out a stabbing attack on soldiers stationed near Ibrahimi Mosque, lightly wounding one soldier.

According to the Israeli Army’s official statement, “An assailant attempted to stab a soldier adjacent to the Cave of the Patriarchs, (The Ibrahimi Mosque) lightly injuring him. The soldier and other forces at the scene, responded with live fire”.

A Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance rushed to the scene, but the soldiers refused to allow the medics to approach the Palestinian.

The father of al-Atrash was interviewed by local media, and told them that his son was having a problem with his wife, and they were temporarily separated  for about a week, and that he has a brother in the Old City of Hebron that he goes to visit every day.

The now-deceased al-Atrash has three daughters and four sons, one of whom is in Ofer Israeli prison.

While being interviewed, the father received a call from his family telling him that the soldiers invaded their home, and told them that they intend to demolish it.

Naji Jamal Mohammad Za’anin

October 17, 2018: Naji Jamal Mohammad Za’anin, 25, was killed when the Israeli missiles struck a site in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The Israeli airforce dropped bombs in several parts of Gaza Wednesday morning, wounding 14 Palestinians in addition to killing Za’anin, including six schoolchildren, in Deir al-Balah city, in central Gaza, before they were rushed to the Al-Aqsa Hospital.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said the army targeted three of its centers in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

The first center, Abu Jarad, south of Gaza city, and the second, al-Waha, west of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and the third in the Zeitoun neighborhood, in the center of Gaza city.

The army later fired more missiles into areas in Rafah, in southern Gaza, and another site of the al-Qassam Brigades in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza. In addition, the Israeli Air Force fired missiles into agricultural lands in the az-Zanna area, in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis, and a near the seaport, west of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.

For its part, Egypt started contacting Palestinian officials in Gaza, and Israeli officials, in an attempt to mediate an prevent a further escalation in the area.

The bombs were dropped on Gaza after unknown Palestinians fired a rocket into Israel Wednesday morning, causing no injuries.

Abu Mujahed, the spokesperson of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza, said in a statement that no Palestinian resistance groups were involved in the firing of the rocket – and that all the armed Palestinian resistance groups are always willing to claim responsibility if they ever do fire rockets.

The statement was made after discussions with the representatives of all the Palestinian armed resistance groups.

Saddam Abu Shallash

October 16, 2018: Saddam Abu Shallash, 27, died of critical wounds sustained the previous day when he was shot by Israeli forces in northern Gaza, while participating in the March of Return at the Gaza-Israel border.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip reported that Saddam was shot with live Israeli army fire, near Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, and was rushed to surgery, and then to intensive care, but succumbed to his wounds the next day.

It is worth mentioning that Saddam was the brother of Sharif Abu Shallash, 28, who was killed by Israeli soldiers on December 23rd 2017.

On Tuesday evening, Palestinian medical sources said the army shot two young men, east of Deir al-Balah city, in central Gaza.

On Monday, Israeli navy and soldiers shot 32 Palestinians with live fire, in addition to causing dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, during protest against the ongoing siege on Gaza.
