Basel Bassam Seder

October 14, 2015: Basel Bassam Seder, 17, was shot dead by Israeli police officers near Damascus Gate in East Jerusalem.

They fired more than 10 rounds at him as he was running away.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) said its investigation revealed that the soldiers approached Seder, but he tried to avoid them and went down stairs of Damascus Gate.

A soldier shouted asking him to stop, but Seder ran faster, and the soldier opened fire at his back while shouting “Terrorist, terrorist”.

Seder was wounded and fell to the ground. A few minutes later, Israeli forces approached and fired about 10 bullets at him from a range of five meters or less.

Soon after, Palestinian civilians hurried up to the place, but Israeli forces repressed and dispersed them. Basel was from Hebron. Source: IMEMC 

Mohammad Shamasna

Mohammad_ShamasnaOctober 12, 2015: Mohammad Shamasna, 23, was killed by an Israeli settler in Jerusalem, after the army claimed that he “attempted to snatch a weapon from a soldier.”

The Israel army said that, after the Palestinian “tried to snatch the weapon from the soldier at the Central Bus Station, an armed settler attacked him before fatally shooting him, also wounding two Israelis.”

October 12, 2015: Mustafa ‘Adel al-Khatib, 18, was killed by Israeli soldieres near Bab al-Asbat (The Tribes Gate). The Israeli army claimed he stabbed a soldier, and that the soldier’s vest prevented the knife from cutting him. The soldier then opened fire and killed the teen. Eyewitnesses said Mustafa was still in his car when he was shot dead. He was from Sur Baher town in Jerusalem. Source: IMEMC
