The Israeli army claimed it was targeting Sha’ban al-Dahdouh, 30, a member of the Islamic Jihad in Gaza. The attack led to the death of eleven Palestinians, including her parents, two sisters, brother, and five children of one of her sisters. Her sister, Taghrid, and her family held German citizenships, as Taghrid’s husband lived there for twenty years, while two of his children, who were born there, remained in Germany. She was killed along with her mother, Sumaya, 33, her sisters, Yasmin, 7, Isara’, 10, Arwa, 5, her grandmother, Faiza, Saber Siam, 67,
