Sana’ No’man Zo’rob

August 01, 2014: Sana’ No’man Mohammed Zo’rob, 41, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired two missiles at her house, in the al-Saudi neighborhood in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. In total, the Israeli missiles led to the death of sixteen Palestinians, including four women and ten children.

The home was destroyed over its inhabitants, leading to her death along with her husband, Ra’fat, 51, and their children, Amir, 15, ‘Udai, 13, Shahed, 10, and Khaled, 9. Only two of their children survived.

Besides Sana’, her husband and their children, the Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli missiles have been identified as Sana’ mother, Sabha Mustafa Zo’rob, 66, her sister, Su’ad No’man Zo’rob, 40, Su’ad’s sons, Ahmed, 15, Mohammed, 12, Walid, 6, and Mu’tasem, 3, in addition to her second sister, Ahlam, 38, her daughter, Rawan, 8, and her son, Rami, 12.

Their infant neighbor Nour Mohammad Abu Asi, 45 days of age, was also killed in the Israeli bombardment.

Yousef Sharif al-Namla

August 01, 2014: Yousef Sharif al-Namla, 25, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired two missiles at him and his family, while fleeing from their home in the al-Tanour neighborhood, east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Yousef was killed along with his wife, Walaa’ Jamal al-Namla, 24, and his sister Angham Sharif al-Namla, 11.

The Israeli missiles also injured six other family members, including a woman and four children, in addition to causing damage to several homes.

Among the wounded Palestinians were Yousef’s brother Wa’el, whose left leg had to be amputated, his wife, Israa’, 19, whose both legs were amputated, their son Sharif, 3, whose left lower limb was amputated, and their 2-year-old daughter, Abeer, who suffered serious burns.

Israa was transferred to a hospital in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, while her husband was transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem.

Wael’s sister, Shahed, 10, was badly burned but remained conscious after the attack, and tried to wake Walaa’, but she was already dead. Shahed became deeply traumatized, and ‎refuses to walk in the streets. ‎

Nour Abu Asi

August 01, 2014: Nour Mohammed Abu Asi, 45 days, was killed by Israeli soldiers who fired two missiles at next door house owned by Zo’rob family, in the al-Saudi neighborhood in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. In total, the Israeli missiles led to the death of sixteen Palestinians, including four women and ten children.

The Israeli missiles killed the house’s owner, Ra’fat Odeh Zo’rob, 51, who was also killed along with his wife, Sana’, 41, and their children, Amir, 15, ‘Udai, 13, Shahed, 10, and Khaled, 9.
