June 20, 2023: Harel Masoud, 21, was killed by two Palestinians who also killed three other Israeli colonizers and wounded four near the illegal Israeli colony of Eli in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli sources said one of the Palestinians was shot and killed at the shooting scene, and the other was killed two hours later by Israeli soldiers.

The Israelis who were killed in the attack were identified as Elisha Antman, 18, from Eli colony; Harel Masoud, 21, from Yad Binyamin; Nachman Shmuel Mordoff, 17, from Ahiya, and Ofer Feierman, 63, from Eli colony.

Of the wounded, one was listed as seriously wounded, while three were wounded lightly.

The shooters were identified as Mohannad Faleh Shahada, 26, who was killed on site by an Israeli paramilitary colonial settler, and Khaled Mustafa Sabah, 24, who managed to escape from the scene of the shooting but was pursued by Israeli soldiers who killed him and wounded another Palestinian civilian.

According to eyewitnesses, the two Palestinians drove up to the gas station, entered a restaurant attached to the gas station, and shot at the Israelis who were dining there, killing four people and wounding four.

Israeli media reported that the two Palestinian shooters had been imprisoned together at the Israeli prison of Megiddo two and a half years ago.

After the attack,  Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas, praised the shooting, saying the shooting was “a response to Israel’s crimes carried out at the Jenin refugee camp and the aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The struggle won’t stop until our people are free and independent.”

The Israeli army later invaded Orif town, south of Nablus, before storming the family homes of the two Palestinians and took measurements of the properties to prepare for demolishing them as part of Israel’s collective punishment policies, illegal under International Law and all related human rights treaties, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Israeli daily Haaretz said that while this attack could lead to accelerated operations to prepare for a large-scale military offensive in the West Bank, such an offensive would occur due to political leadership pressure.

Haaretz said the offensive, which would be dubbed Guardian of the Walls II, which refers to the original operation in 2021, could be different than what its name suggests but likely a limited offensive that would last for a few days “to calm things on the ground,” and to appease demands from the Israeli right-wing.

On Tuesday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of Nasser Saleh Mohammad Sinan, 55, whom Israeli soldiers shot with a live round in the head a month earlier in Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday dawn, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of Amjad Aref Al-Ja’as, 48, who was shot and seriously injured by Israeli army fire Monday during the massive Israeli invasion of Jenin, leading to five deaths and more than 100 injuries; the soldiers killed Amjad’s son Wasim Amjad Aref Al-Ja’as, 19, on January 26, 2023.

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured two after the army invaded Husan village, west of Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.

Earlier Monday, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians, including a child, and injured at least 100, including 23 who suffered life-threatening wounds, in Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

May 30, 2023: Meir Tamari, 30, was killed in a drive-by shooting from a Palestinian car close to the illegal Hermesh colony near Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Israeli sources confirmed that Meir suffered several gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulders and received treatment from Israeli medics who rushed him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera but succumbed to his injuries.

The sources said the shooter fired at least seven live rounds from an M16 rifle and sped towards Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Israeli Haaretz said Meir made his way to the entrance of Hermesh colony before he was evacuated to Hillel Yaffeh Medical Center in Hadera and was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Israeli soldiers installed many roadblocks in the area and initiated a massive search campaign in the area, looking for the Palestinian car.

The army said a Palestinian driver sped and bypassed a colonialist settlers’ car before firing several live rounds at it and fleeing the scene.

The Israeli army initiated a massive search campaign in the area and set up roadblocks in an effort to locate the shooters.

The Al-Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of the Fateh movement, claimed responsibility for the shooting and said its fighters managed to escape unharmed.

It stated the shooting comes in retaliation to the escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, including the ongoing assassinations and killings of fighters and civilians.

The Brigades added that its fighters also exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers who invaded Nur Shams refugee camp at dawn and managed to detonate explosive charges near military vehicles.

On Monday evening, many paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Deir Dibwan town, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, attacked and injured several Palestinians, caused damage to cars, and burnt crops while Israeli soldiers fired at the Palestinians who tried to defend themselves.

Also, the paramilitary colonizers burnt Palestinian palm trees in Burqa town, northwest of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Earlier Monday, Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, killed an intelligence officer, injured eight Palestinians, one seriously, and abducted six others.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed Ashraf Mohammad Amin Ibrahim, 38, after shooting him with two expanding bullets in the chest and the abdomen.

Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”

May 11, 2023: Inga Avramyan, 80, was killed when a rocket, launched from Gaza, struck an apartment block in the central Israeli city of Rehovot.

According to Israeli sources, the Israeli woman was killed, and eight people were injured, when a shell fired from the Gaza Strip hit an apartment building in Rehovot, in central Israel.

The woman was killed after being trapped under rubble that fell from the damaged building. Seven people were treated on-site with light injuries, and one woman in her sixties was taken to the hospital with a head injury.

The Israeli military spokesman, Daniel Hagari, stated that the Israeli anti-missile defense system known as the ‘Iron Dome’ (funded largely by the United States), had experienced a malfunction on Thursday night.

The Israeli military’s “Home Front Command” Search and Rescue Unit was joined by police, Fire and Rescue Services to search in the rubble for additional victims, but no other injured Israelis were found.

The shell had been fired after three straight days of Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of 31 Palestinians, including a number of young children and women.

The chair of the Israeli Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Yuli Edelstein, condemned the death of the Israeli man, saying, “My heart goes out to the family of the murdered person from the missile strike, and I am praying for the recovery of those injured.”

Edelstein went on to say, “The responsibility for the criminal and cowardly strike and murder lies with one source: Iran – the patron and financier of the Islamic Jihad. There lies the head of the snake, and we will work in every way to remove this threat from the people of Israel.”

Edelstein made no mention of the dozens of Palestinian civilians that Israeli bombs had killed over the past three days.

In addition to the shell that hit the building in Rehovot, three Israeli buildings in Sderot, near the border with Gaza, were hit by Palestinian shells, but no injuries were reported.

On the same day of her death, Israeli missiles killed nine Palestinians and injured many others, some seriously, after the army fired missiles at their homes and residential buildings.

The Palestinians killed by the Israeli missiles were identified as:

  2. Ali Hasan Mohammad Ghali, 50, Hamad city, Khan Younis.

  7. Odai Riyad Al-Louh, Nusseira, central Gaza.
  8. Elian Ata Abu Wadi, 36, Jabalia

April 10, 2023: Lucy Dee, 48, died of wounds sustained three days earlier when she was shot while driving with her two daughters in a car in the West Bank. Her daughters, Maia, 20, and Rina, 15, died at the scene.

The two sisters were the daughters of British-Israeli Rabbi Leo Dee, and they were in a car traveling with their mother to a hiking spot in the Jordan Valley when the car was shot at by unknown assailants and ran off the road, killing both of the daughters.

The BBC said Maia was 20 years old and volunteering for national service in a high school, while younger sister Rina was 15.

The reports indicated that emergency teams found three Israeli women with signs of gunshot wounds in the northern part of the Jordan Valley of the West Bank.

The two women and their mother, who suffered serious wounds, were airlifted by a military helicopter to the hospital.

The reports added that the three women were in a car that came under gunfire and said that the army initiated a massive search campaign to locate the persons behind the shooting.

The two sisters succumbed to their critical wounds and were officially declared dead at the scene, and their mother, in her forties, is in critical condition.

According to the army, the shooting occurred not far from the Al-Hamra area, and the military initiated a massive manhunt, including military helicopters, to locate the shooters.

Israeli Police Chief, Kobi Shabtai, called on all Israelis, who are licensed to carry firearms and skilled in using them, to do so.

The incident occurred amidst increasing Israeli violations and invasions of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem, resulting in dozens of abductions and injuries.

At least 92 Palestinians, including 16 children, and 12 Israelis, including 3 children, have been killed by someone from the other side in 2023.

April 07, 2023: Yousef ِAhmad Abu Jaber, 44, was killed in Tel Aviv after reportedly carrying out a car-ramming and shooting attack near a beach in Tel Aviv, killing an Italian citizen.

Israeli daily Haaretz said, “A police officer and a municipal ranger arrived at the scene, and as they noticed the attacker attempted to reach a rifle-like object that was with him, they shot at him and killed him.

According to a police source, no weapon was found in Jaber’s vehicle, but rather a toy gun.”

The Italian citizen, lawyer from Rome who was vacationing in Tel Aviv, has been idented as Alessandro Parini, 35.

Israeli daily, Haaretz, said Parini, an Italian lawyer from Rome who was vacationing in Tel Aviv, was killed, and five tourists were injured in what is believed to be a ‘car-ramming and shooting attack’ near a beach in Tel Aviv before the police killed the attacker, 44, Yousef Abu Jaber, 44, a married father of five daughters from Kafr Qassem.

Haaretz also said that the incident occurred at about 21:35 Friday when the attacker drove on the bike lane of “Charles Clore Park,” hitting six pedestrians.

Three persons suffered moderate wounds, including a man, 74 years of age, and a teenage girl, 17, and that the two other wounded persons, a 50-year-old man and a woman, 70, suffered mild injuries. Some of the wounded were British and Italian citizens.

According to Haaretz, an eyewitness said a vehicle sped after and entered a gas station nearby the incident before gunshots were heard, and then the vehicle which was used in the incident turned rightwards and rolled over.

Yousef’s family said they were shocked to hear about the incident and added that they would have prevented this from happening if they had known anything in advance and that he was a very quiet, respectful person and never had any ideological way of thinking.

April 07, 2023: Alessandro Parini, 35, was killed in a car-ramming and shooting attack near a beach in Tel Aviv.

Israeli sources said Parini, an Italian lawyer from Rome who was vacationing in Tel Aviv, was killed, and five tourists were injured in what is believed to be a ‘car-ramming and shooting attack” near a beach in Tel Aviv before the police killed the attacker, 44, from Kafr Qassem town.

The sources added that the incident occurred at about 21:35 Friday when the attacker drove on the bike lane of “Charles Clore Park,” hitting six pedestrians.

On April 9, the Israeli daily The Times Of Israel reported that Parini “was not found to have sustained any gunshot wounds, the Institute of Forensic Medicine confirmed on Sunday, while police sources reportedly confirmed that the incident was a terror attack.”

The Times Of Israeli added: “Despite earlier reports in the Italian media claiming a bullet had been found during a CT scan of Parini’s body, the Institute of Forensic Medicine ruled out the possibility, confirming that the force of the impact had killed the tourist.

A police officer and municipal inspectors who were near the scene of the alleged attack when the car overturned had initially claimed they saw the driver, Yousef Abu Jaber, “reach [for] a rifle-like object that was with him,” leading to initial suspicions that he had rammed Parini before proceeding to shoot him.”

Yousef’s family said they were shocked to hear about the incident and added that they would have prevented this from happening if they had known anything in advance and that he was a very quiet, respectful person and never had any ideological way of thinking.

March 21st, 2023: Or Eshkar, 32, died of wounds sustained on March 10th when he was shot and critically wounded by a gunman identified as Mo’taz Khawaja, 23, who was killed by police at the scene.

According to Israeli sources, a 23-year old Palestinian man, identified as Mo’taz Khawaja, allegedly opened fire on a group of Israelis on a crowded street in Tel Aviv.

Mo’taz was killed by Israeli police at the scene, and Or Eshkar, 32, was killed as a result of the attack, succumbing to his wounds 11 days later.

The three Israelis who were shot were three friends in their thirties. The three were rushed to the Ichilov hospital after medics administered emergency first aid to two of the men, who were lying on the ground.

The incident took place on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv.

The Tel Aviv Israeli police commander stated, “Tel Aviv naturally is always a target and despite our being on high alert, we had no prior knowledge of the attack”.

After taking Hawaja into custody, Israeli forces invaded his home village and raided his family home, ransacking belongings and assaulting his family members.

Just a few blocks from the shooting, a protest was taking place when the incident occurred. The protest was challenging the Israeli government’s corruption, and was not affiliated with the attack at the cafe.

One nearby resident told Ha’aretz that he heard eight shots fired, and came outside and saw two men lying on the ground.

Soon after the incident, Israelis gathered at the scene and chanted “Death to Arabs”, while waving the Israeli flag.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu (the main target of the anti-corruption protesters), who was in Rome when the attack took place, stated, “There has been a grave incident in Tel Aviv, A terror attack. We commend the police and security forces fighting terrorists this evening and everywhere. I am certain this will not weaken our resolve to continue building our country and securing our future.”

In the three days prior to this shooting, Israeli troops killed ten Palestinians and wounded dozens more with live ammunition, mainly in Jenin, in the northern West Bank. No Israelis were killed in that time period.
