November 26, 2022: Tadasa Tashume Ben Ma’ada, 50, succumbed to serious wounds in Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

He was injured in one of two separate explosions near a bus stop in Givat Shaul in West Jerusalem.

Israeli sources said Ben Ma’ada was an immigrant from Ethiopia after he came to the country 21 years ago. He was a married father of six children.

The blast immediately killed an Israeli-Canadian teen and caused the injury of about twenty-two Israelis.

The first victim, Aryeh Shechopek, 16, was killed by an explosive placed in a bush behind a bus station in Jerusalem.

An additional twenty-two Israelis were injured in two separate explosions near a bus stop in Givat Shaul in West Jerusalem.

According to Israeli sources, the Police, army, and internal security initiated a massive manhunt looking for those responsible for the two bombings and described the incident as the first of this magnitude of its kind in many years.

Israeli daily Haaretz said the head of the Israeli Police Operations Division, Sigal Bar Zvi, described the explosives used in the two attacks as of “high quality,” adding that the explosives were placed in a bush behind a bus station.

The Police believe that explosives were left several hours before they were remotely detonated, an issue seen as a sign of a pre-planned sophisticated attack. The two explosives were detonated 30 minutes apart.

Haaretz said the blasts killed Aryeh Shechopek, 16, an Israeli teen and a Yeshiva student who also holds Canadian citizenship, adding that his funeral was held in Jerusalem a few hours after he was killed.

Also, more than twenty Israelis were injured in the bombings, including one in critical condition.

Israeli Ynet News said, according to the preliminary evaluation of the bombings, it is believed that several persons are behind the attack that seems to have been in the planning stage for a long period, adding that it does not appear that it was conducted under the direction of the leadership of any armed group.

Ynet added that the persons behind the bombings appeared familiar with the area and scouted its surroundings before choosing the exact time to inflict larger casualties.

It also said that the explosives used in the two bombings were “relatively small but densely packed with nails and metal shrapnel that caused the lion’s share of the damage.”

The Israeli police and security agencies are investigating “whether the people behind the bombings entered Israel from the West Bank and could be from East Jerusalem.”

According to the Jerusalem Post, the explosive used in the second explosion at the Ramot junction was smaller than the first, and added that Israeli security and police assessments indicate that the same person likely placed both explosives.

It said that the first explosion occurred at the entrance of Jerusalem near the Central Bus Station, while the second explosive detonated in the Ramot neighborhood, adding that both explosions occurred at bus stops during rush hours.

Following the bombings, the Israeli army and the Police closed all main roads in Jerusalem and deployed hundreds of additional troops in addition to installing roadblocks.

In related news, Israeli colonizers attacked dozens of Palestinian cars and homes in Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus, and several parts of the occupied West Bank, causing damage.

It is worth mentioning that Ynet said a news anchor working with an Army Radio was suspended from her work after insinuating that the Jerusalem blasts “might be connected to the ongoing negotiations to form a coalition government.”

Ynet added that, in an on-air coverage, the anchor, Hadas Shtaif, said: “Police also said that due to fruitful negotiations with a certain character who is about to receive a certain position in the new government – emotions are tense, and these emotions also have to do with the situation.”

November 15, 2022: Moshe Ashkenazi, 59, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian attacker in the illegal Israeli colony of Ariel.

The alleged Palestinian attacker was shot and killed by an Israeli security guard after he killed three Israeli settlers.

Israeli sources reported Tuesday that three Israelis were killed and three were injured in two areas before Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian near Ariel illegal colony near Salfit, in the central part of the occupied West Bank. The incidents occurred in two locations near Ariel when two Palestinians attacked Israeli colonizers at the entrance of the Industrial Zone and a gas station.

Israeli sources identified the three Israelis who were killed as Tamir Avichai, 50, from Kiryat Netafim colony in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, Michael Ledigin, 36, from Bat-Yam, and Moshe Ashkenazi, 59, from Yavne.

According to a statement by the Israeli army, a Palestinian arrived at the gate of the Industrial Zone in Ariel and stabbed several Israelis before fleeing the scene. The army denied reports claiming that a second Palestinian was killed. However, it stated that the soldiers were looking for another suspect in the area.

Israeli Ynet News reported that the Palestinian allegedly stabbed a security guard at the gas station’s entrance, then attacked four others with a knife before using a vehicle to escape, ramming one Israeli with the car before soldiers and armed guards opened fire in his direction.

The Israeli media added that a Palestinian fled the scene in a stolen car and was located by the soldiers on Route 5, where they shot and killed him, and said the young man first tried to flee the scene, resulting in a crash involving eight cars before he was fatally shot.

According to Israeli Channel 7, one of the Israelis, in his 40s, died from critical wounds, a second man, also in his 40’s, was wounded at the gas station and succumbed to serious wounds, and the third, in his 30’s, was fatally injured near the gas station.

Channel 7 added that three other Israelis suffered critical or serious wounds and were taken to the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.

The Palestinian has been identified as Mohammad Morad Sami Souf, 18, from Haris town near Salfit in the central West Bank.

According to Israeli reports, Mohammad had a permit and worked at a factory in Ariel.

Israeli paramedics rushed to the area, provided treatment to the wounded, and transferred them to Beilinson Medical Center before three of them succumbed to their wounds; three Israelis suffered serious wounds.

The day before this attack, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed, at dawn, a teenage girl, Folla Rasmi Abdul-Aziz Masalma, 16, in Betunia town after shooting her with a live round in the head while she was a passenger in a car.

November 8, 2022: Shalom Sofer, 63, died from serious wounds he suffered on October 25, reportedly after a Palestinian stabbed him in the Al-Funduq village east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Shalom was pronounced dead  after a sharp deterioration in his condition.

Shalom was a colonialist settler from the Kedumim illegal colony east of Qalqilia in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Israeli Channel 7 quoted Shalom’s son, Lidor Sofer, stating that his father was recovering but suffered a serious health setback.

The son added that his father was discharged from the hospital last week and seemed to be recovering, but “suddenly, one of his wounds opened.”

The Israeli army said the soldiers arrested a Palestinian, believed to be the one who stabbed Shalom, hours after the attack took place.

Earlier the same day Shalom was stabbed, Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians and injured twenty-one, including four who suffered life-threatening wounds, during an invasion of the center of Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The slain Palestinians have been identified as Zahi Ahmad Baghdadi, 27, Hamdi Sbeih Ramzi Qayyim, 30, Ali Khaled Omar Antar, 26, Hamdi Mohammad Sabri Sharaf, 35, and Wadea’ Sbeih Hweih, 31.

At dawn same day, Israeli soldiers killed Qussai Mahmoud Tamimi, 19, in Nabi Saleh village, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

October 29, 2022: Ronen Hananya, 50, was killed in a shooting attack near the Kiryat Arba illegal colony in Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank.

Another wounded Israeli, in his fifties, suffered critical wounds in the shooting carried out by a Palestinian who was also killed.

A surveillance video released to Israeli media shows the Palestinian walking through the street holding a rifle and shooting before an Israeli car of an off-duty soldier, accompanied by a security agent working for the Kiryat Arba colony, sped toward him.

The car rams into the man at high speed, crashing his body and the car into a wall. It then backs away, and an Israeli settler jumps out and fires multiple rounds at the Palestinian lying on the ground.

The Palestinian has been identified as Mohammad Kamel Al-Jabari, 35, from Hebron city. The army took his corpse after refusing to release Mohammad’s body to Palestinian medics.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its medics rushed to the area to provide essential aid to Mohammad, but the soldiers fired many live rounds at their ambulance, wounding a medic, Ahmad Abu Khaled, who was shot with a live round in the shoulder, and causing damage to the ambulance.

An Israeli medic with the medical association Magen David was injured in the incident and was brought to the Israeli hospital in Shaare Tzedek Medical Center.

Another Palestinian was also wounded by gunshot fire. He was only identified as a 37-year-old man, and his injuries were described as moderate.

Israeli daily Haaretz said three Israelis, including the son of the man who was killed, were taken to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.

It added that the seriously wounded Israeli man, Ronen, remained in a critical condition until he succumbed to his wounds.

Haaretz also said that a fourth Israeli, Ofer Ohana, a Magen David Adom medic, was transferred to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he remained unconscious and on life support.

Initial reports claimed that the attack targeted the home of right-wing Israeli politician Itamar Ben-Gvir, who lives in Kiryat Arba, but an Israeli military spokesperson said that this was not a targeted attack on Ben-Gvir but appeared instead to be targeting an Israeli military guard post.

While some Israeli reports claimed Mohammad was a member of Hamas, his family said he wasn’t involved with any party or group and was an Islamic studies teacher and a married father of two children.

His older brother is an officer with the Palestinian General Intelligence, controlled by the Fateh movement of President Mahmoud Abbas, and his middle brother is a member of Hamas and was one of many Palestinians who were exiled from the West Bank to Gaza as part of the Shalit prisoner swap agreement.

Media sources said Mohammad was also receiving treatment for abdominal cancer, which reached an advanced stage.

After the soldiers killed Mohammad, the army installed many roadblocks in Hebron and isolated several neighborhoods before storming and ransacking many homes.

Israeli colonizers also attacked many homes and fired several live rounds at them, despite constant Israeli military deployment in the area and while a military helicopter was hovering overhead.

Just before midnight, the soldiers closed all roads leading to Hebron city, the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, Farsh Al-Hawa junction, Beit Einoun junction, and Al-Fahs junction, and the areas of Al-Harayeq and Khirbat Qalqas.

On October 28, Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinian medics, Emad Abu Rashid, 47, and Ramzi Sami Zabara, 35, near the Huwwara military roadblock south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

October 11, 2022: Ido Baruch, 20, an Israeli soldier who succumbed to serious wounds he suffered in a shooting targeting a large group of colonizers, guarded by dozens of soldiers while marching near Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli army said the injured soldier suffered a serious gunshot wound to the upper body before he received treatment at the scene and was rushed to an Israeli hospital but succumbed to his serious wounds.

Israeli sources said the soldier was rushed to Meir Medical Center after suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder and added that the bullet then traveled to his chest cavity, causing him excessive bleeding that resulted in his death despite all efforts to revive him.

The army said the shooting occurred near the colony’s eastern gate and stated that the wounded soldier was shot in the shoulder; his condition was initially described as mild but later deteriorated and was classified as serious.

The shooting happened after dozens of colonizers marched near the illegal Shvei Shomron colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands west of Nablus.

According to a preliminary investigation by the Israeli army, a Palestinian opened fire from a moving car near the colony before the vehicle sped away.

Following the shooting, the Israeli army pushed more troops into the area, invaded all nearby Palestinian villages and towns, and initiated a massive search campaign for the shooter and the car. The army also closed all military roadblocks leading to Nablus.

On October 10, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of a child, Mahmoud Mohammad Sammoudi, 12, who, on September 28, was shot and seriously injured by Israel army fire when the soldiers also killed four young Palestinian men in Jenin and Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

The four Palestinians killed on the day of the invasions of Jenin and its refugee camp were identified as Mohammad Hisham Abu Na’sa, 25, Abdul-Rahman Fathi Khazem, 27, Ahmad Nathmi Alawna, 24, and Mohammad Mahmoud Barahma, 30.

On October 9, the Israeli army announced the death of Sgt. Noa Lazar, 18, an Israeli soldier who was shot by a Palestinian at a military roadblock near Shu’fat, in occupied Jerusalem, on Saturday evening.

October 09, 2022: Noa Lazar, 18, died from serious wounds she sustained a day earlier when she was shot by a Palestinian at a military roadblock near Shu’fat, in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The army said the soldier Sgt. Noa Lazar, 18, was a member of the Israeli army’s Military Police Erez Battalion.

Noa and an armed civilian guard were injured and were rushed to a hospital in Jerusalem for medical treatment before she underwent brain surgery but succumbed to her serious wounds.

Israeli sources said the wounded guard also underwent surgery by neurosurgeons overnight, adding that he is still in critical condition, hooked to a ventilator.

According to the Israeli sources, the Palestinian apparently arrived at the roadblock on foot, approximately at 9 p.m., before he fired several live rounds and reportedly ran towards Shu’fat refugee camp.

A video surveillance footage shows the Palestinian getting out of a car and casually walking towards the roadblock before opening fire from a handgun wounding the two and running away toward the refugee camp before the army initiated a large search campaign.

Jerusalem District Police Commander Doron Turgeman said the identities of the shooter and two other Palestinians involved in the incident are known to police.

Israeli Public Security Minister Omer Barlev arrived at the shooting scene and vowed to capture the shooter “alive or dead,” adding that the shooter was 22, from Shu’fat.

The Israeli army also said the soldiers abducted three Palestinians, in their twenties, from Shu’fat and Beit Hanina, allegedly for being “accomplices in the shooting.”

According to the Israeli army radio, the soldiers arrested three members of the Palestinian believed to be the shooting, adding that the man, believed to be the driver of the car, turned himself in to the police, but said the driver is not believed to be involved of the shooting or had any prior knowledge of it.

A day earlier, Israeli soldiers killed Ahmad Mohammad Hussein Daraghma, 24, and Mahmoud Moayyad Sous, 18, in Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Their deaths also came just a day after the Israeli army killed two Palestinians teens, Adel Ibrahim Adel Daoud, 14, and Mahdi Mohammad Ladadwa, 17, and injured dozens of Palestinians near Qalqilia and Ramallah, in the northern and central parts of the occupied West Bank.

September 14, 2022: Bar Pelach, 30, was killed during an exchange of gunfire near the village of Jalama, north of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, before the soldiers killed two Palestinians.

According to Israeli sources, the two Palestinians were seen approaching the Israeli Annexation Wall near the village, and Israeli soldiers began to drive up near them.

An Exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the death of Maj. Bar Pelach, deputy commander of the Nahal Reconnaissance Battalion.

During the fire exchange the Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians, identified as Ahmad Ayman Ibrahim ‘Aabed, 23, and Abdul-Rahman Hani Sobhi ‘Aabed, 22, from Kafr Dan town, northwest of Jenin.

Palestine TV said Ahmad, a graduate of the Istiqlal University, worked with the Palestinian Military Intelligence service.

According to Israeli sources, the two Palestinians were seen approaching the Israeli Annexation Wall near the village, and Israeli soldiers began to drive up near them.

The Israeli media reported that the Palestinians began shooting at the soldiers, who returned fire, resulting in the two Palestinians being killed and one Israeli soldier.

The army phoned their families, ordering them to come to the roadblock to identify their corpses, but refused to release them for burial.

The army also closed the roadblock and said it would remain blockaded until Friday.

Abdul-Rahman’s father said a senior army officer ordered him to head to the roadblock and detained him for about an hour before showing him mobile phone pictures of his slain son and Ahmad after they were shot dead.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fateh party, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Palestinian factions in Jenin declared a general strike to mourn the slain Palestinians.

Amjad Abu Farha, the head of Al-Jalama Village Council, said several army jeeps and bulldozers invaded the village and demolished a cement wall where the two young men were killed. The demolished wall is on land owned by Morad Saleh Abu Farha.

A spokesperson for the Hamas party, Hazem Qasem, reportedly said, “As of today, the heroes of Jenin ignore all the empty threats of the occupation against the cities of the West Bank and do not pay attention to the Israeli attempts to intimidate the resistance.

“The martyrs of Jenin this morning are fueling another revolution and escalation of the struggle against the occupation and their blood is the tax of triumph and liberation. This revolution will continue to escalate across all West Bank cities in defense of the al-Aqsa Mosque, in response to the occupation’s crimes, and on the path to liberation of the land, the people, and the martyrs.”

Following the fatal shooting, the Israeli cabinet convened a special session to discuss the “increasing number of Palestinian attacks'” this month.

The killing of the two young brings the number of slain Palestinians, killed by the Israeli occupation army this month to ten, in addition to one a political prisoner who died at an Israeli medical center.

On September 11, a young Palestinian man, Hamad Mustafa Abu Jilda, 24, from Jenin refugee camp, died from serious wounds he suffered on September 6, after dozens of military vehicles invaded Jenin city and Jenin refugee camp.

On September 8, Haitham Hani Mubarak, 16, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers near the main entrance of Beitin village, northeast of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.

On September 7, the soldiers killed Younis Ghassan Tayeh, 21, in the al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

On September 6, the soldiers killed Mohammad Mousa Saba’na, 29, and injured at least nine Palestinians in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

On September 5, the soldiers invaded Jenin city and Qabatia town, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, killed a young man, Taher Mohmmad Zakarna, 19, injured another, and abducted five.

On September 2, the soldiers killed Fadi Mohammad Fayez Ghattas, 19, after an alleged stabbing attack targeting soldiers, near Beit Einoun village junction, northeast of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

On September 1, the soldiers killed Yazan Naim Affana, 24, after shooting him with live fire while the army withdrew from Um ash-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Biereh city after the army invaded the Al-Biereh city in the Ramallah and Al-Biereh governorate, in the central part of the occupied West Bank.

On the same day, the soldiers killed Mahmoud Suleiman Khaled, 25, in front of the main entrance of Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

On September 3, Mousa Haroun Abu Mahameed, 40, a Palestinian political prisoner held by Israel, died at an Israeli medical center.
