July 27, 2017: Mohammad Fathi Kanaan, 25, died from a serious injury he suffered, on Monday July 24, 2017, after Israeli soldiers invaded Hizma town, and clashed with dozens of youngsters, before shooting him with a live round in the head.

The Palestinian was rushed to Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, in Central West Bank, and was instantly moved to the surgery ward.

He remained in a critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit, until he was officially pronounced dead, on Thursday evening, July 27, 2017.

During the military invasion into Hizma, the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs and concussion grenades at dozens of Palestinians, who were protesting the Israeli escalation in Jerusalem, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque. Mohammad was from Hizma. Source: IMEMC

Odai Nawaj’a

July 22, 2017: Odai Aziz Nawaj’a, 17, was killed by an explosive, which was dropped by Israeli soldiers during one of their frequent military drills, detonated near him, in Khirbit Ebzeeq village, near Tubs, in northeaster West Bank.

Odai suffered various serious injuries, and died from his wounds at the Turkish Hospital, in Tubas.

Eyewitnesses said Nawaj’a was standing in the shade of a tree when apparently stepped on the explosive or moved it, and suffered life-threatening injuries that led to his death.

Nawaj’a village is a small Palestinian community that is frequently targeted by the Israeli army, especially since the soldiers repeatedly conduct live fire training, which also includes the use of explosives and bombs.

There are approximately forty families of shepherds and farmers in Khirbet Ebzeeq; they were displaced from their homes and towns prior to the establishment of Israel, in 1948, and fled to the West Bank.

The village is one of the dozens of villages and communities that are not recognized by Israel, but under its full control; therefore, it has no infrastructure or any services, including healthcare and running water.

Hundreds of Palestinians, mainly shepherds and children, have been killed by landmines and explosives dropped by the army, in addition to hundreds of injuries, many leading to permanent disabilities, since Israel occupied the West Bank in 1967. Yousef Kashour

July 22, 2017: Yousef Abbas Kashour, 24, was killed by Israeli soldiers in the al-‘Ezariyya town, to the east of East Jerusalem.

Yousef was shot with a live round in his chest, and was moved to Jericho governmental hospital, in Jericho city, before he was later transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex, in Ramallah, due to the seriousness of his condition.

He was shot during clashes that took place after Israeli soldiers attacked Palestinian worshipers, who held evening prayers near the Tribes Gate in Jerusalem, and sprayed them with waste-water mixed with chemicals.

Thousands of Palestinians have been holding prayers in the street and alleys surrounding Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, rejecting Israel’s closure and of the holy site, demanding unrestricted entry to the holy site, and refusing to go through metal-detention electronic gates that have been installed around the mosque,

Following the fatal shooting which took place on Friday morning, July 14, leading to the death of three Palestinians, and two Israeli officers, who were all Arab citizens of Israel,  the Israeli government started imposing harsher restrictions on all Palestinians wishing to enter the mosque. July 21, 2017: Yosef Salomon, 70, was killed by a Palestinian who infiltrated into his home in Halamish Israeli settlement, north of Ramallah in the West Bank, and stabbed him, along with his daughter, Chaya Solomon, 46, and his son, Elad Salomon, 36.

Yousef’s wife, and the mother of Chaya and Elad, was still receiving treatment at Shaare Zedek Israeli Medical Center in Jerusalem, until the time of this report.

The Palestinian, identified as Omar al-‘Abed, from Kobar village, near Ramallah, was shot by a neighbor, before he was hospitalized, and was later handed to the Israeli military for interrogation.

The family was celebrating the birth of a grandson when the attack took place in their home, located on the edge on the settlement.

Although the Israeli military and security services believe the Palestinian identifies with Hamas, they do not believe he was an active member with the movement and acted alone, in an attack that was motivated by the rising tension in Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem. July 21, 2017: Mohammad Hasan Abu Ghannam, 20, was killed by Israeli soldiers during protests that took place after the army invaded at-Tour neighborhood, in East Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers surrounded the Palestinian after shooting him, and that he bled to death when the army prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him.

Following the fatal shooting, Israeli soldiers and undercover officers frequently invaded Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem, after surrounding it, apparently to retrieve the corpse to the slain Palestinian, but young men managed to smuggle it out of the hospital, and his burial ceremony was held shortly afterwards.

Many Palestinians were also injured by Israeli fire and gas bombs, during the clashes, and one of the wounded Palestinians suffered a serious injury.

Al-Makassed Hospital also has issued an urgent call for blood donations, due to the large number of Palestinians, who were shot and injured by Israeli army fire, in different parts of the Jerusalem.

Mohammad was the third Palestinian to be killed within a few hours, after an armed Israeli settler killed a teenage boy, identified as Mohammad Mahmoud Sharaf, 18, in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood, in East Jerusalem, while the soldiers also killed Mohammad Lafi, 18, from Abu Dis town, east of Jerusalem, after shooting him with a live round in his heart.

The Israeli army declared Jerusalem’s Old City a closed military zone, preventing the Palestinians from entering or leaving it, denying them access to Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers.

July 21, 2017: Mohammad Lafi, 18, was killed by Israeli army fire in Abu Dis town, east of East Jerusalem, after the soldiers invaded it, and clashed with local youths.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Mohammad was shot with a live round in his heart, and was moved to the Palestine Medical Complex, in Ramallah, where he died from his serious wounds.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that at least 140 Palestinians have been injured, in different parts of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, and that most of them were shot by the army, and many others suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted by the soldiers.

The soldiers also attacked many Palestinian medics, and fired gas bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets and live rounds at many ambulances, and invaded many Palestinian homes in the Old City, in addition to installing roadblocks in several areas, including the Gate of the Tribes (Bab Al-Asbat), Herod’s Gate (Bab al-Sahera), and Council Gate (Bab al-Majles), Jaffa Gate, al-Misrara, at-Tour, Wadi al-Jouz and Silwan.

July 21, 2017: Mohammad Mahmoud Sharaf, 17, was shot by an Israeli settler in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood, in occupied East Jerusalem, while Israeli soldiers shot and injured many Palestinians, during ensuing clashes.

Mohammad was shot in the neck with a live round fired by the settler, while the soldiers also attacked and clashed with dozens of Palestinians after preventing them from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers.

The attack took place at a military roadblock in Ras al-Amoud, after hundreds of soldiers were deployed in the area, completely isolating Al-Aqsa from its surrounding area.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) has reported that its medics have been unable to reach many injured Palestinians due to the extensive Israeli military and police deployment, and the strict siege blocking all roads and neighborhoods leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and added that at least two of the wounded Palestinians suffered life-threatening injuries.

Hundreds of Palestinians participated in Sharaf’s burial and funeral ceremony in Sweih neighborhood, in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Jerusalem.

Earlier Friday, Israel decided to prevent all Palestinian men, below the age of fifty, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, and even Jerusalem’s Old City, and deployed thousands of soldiers and officers into the city.

July 20, 2017: Mohammad Hussein Tnouh, 26, was killed by Israeli soldiers in Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, in the West Bank, after the soldiers claimed that he attempted to stab them.

The soldiers shot Mohammad with four live rounds, before an army jeep ran over him, near al-Khansa’ school, in Teqoua’.

An Israeli army spokesperson said the soldiers “responded to an immediate threat, and killed the man.”

After shooting the Palestinian, the soldiers closed the area, prevented bystanders, and medics, from approaching him, and later covered his body with a black sheet, before taking it away.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said the soldiers prevented its medics from approaching the Palestinian to assess his condition, and the extent of his injuries, before he was declared dead.

Clashes took place in Teqoua’ following the fatal shooting, and the soldiers fired dozens of live rounds and rubber-coated steel bullets.
